After reading the reviews about Dans Service Center, I trusted them to handle my hitch needs! All I can say is when people say Dans does it right or Dans is the place to go! They are Correct! TAKE IT TO DANS SERVICE CENIER IN ELKHART you ll be glad you did! Everything was professionally installed and looks great! They even allowed me to add a few items after I arrived and Shannon stayed late to put in my toolbox! Thank you Ryan & Shannon at Dans service center, you are the best. The prices were reasonable for everything that I had done, leaving me with some great equipment I can count on!!!! Thank You!

Ryan, Stacy and the folks at Dan's are fabulous. I've been dealing with them for probably 20 years or more. Just got a set of airbags installed air lift 7500 XLs a few months ago and they did a great job. I also had mud flaps installed on my 3500 dually and again they do things well and they do them with excellence!!!I am traveling from Naples Florida all the way up to Elkhart Indiana to have them do some things to my truck. That's how good they really are. I trust them and that's a good thing. I can't say that about many businesses I deal with??I forgot to mention that I failed to do a review on Dan's when I had these airbags installed and mud flaps installed a few months ago. So that's why I did it today. Thanks everybody and they'll take good care of you.

Dan and his crew are amazing. We should up late to fix hitch for our trailer, and they stayed late for us to make sure we have a comfortable trip back to California. Even loaned us their car while our truck was getting ready.absolutely wonderful people. Thanks Dan, Ryan, Nate and crew.

The goal here is clearly to provide world class service to their customers and educate them. Safety and cost savings are ultra important in the transport business and Dan's takes these seriously. As a repeat customer I can say this isn't like that burger that was only good the first time, the experience has only gotten better and this time they even remembered my name. As long as the need is there and so are they, I will continue to do business with Dan's Service Center.

Reputation speaks volumes for itself. The knowledge & ability to tweak for the customers needs just top notch. Hauling RV s, but have worked with many truck applications over many years. Been to shops 4x Dan s shop. Best shop I ve ever been to.Added a fuel tank year ago. Totally fits my needs. Just added the rear toolbox. Looking forward to useful storage all year around. Thx to your Team! Will be back for years.

This place is AWESOME! I'm from Alabama and went to Elkhart to pick up my Luxe camper. Pin weight on my new camper is around 5100 lbs so I wanted to get some Air Lift air bags and a extra tall B&W gooseneck ball to help the RV clear my extra large Weatherguard truck box. Luxe highly recommended these guys and I can see why now.Ryan is the DUDE at Dan's. He is extremely knowledgeable. We discussed my situation and he recommended the Air Lift 7000 bags for my 2017 F350 Dually. It came with a remote plus you can use your phone to independently adjust each bag on the fly which is what I normally use. Couldn't be happier with the system and the ride is fabulous loaded AND unloaded. The no load ride really surprised me but Ryan suggested an improvement would probably occur.Love the B&W ball as it has a locking handle that lets you change it out without getting greasy and a nice storage box is included. Works great with the Gen-Y 5th to Goose hitch (which they also sell).While there I inquired about the Amp Bed steps to help me get into truck box. He had them in stock and they worked out great. Now I can get rid of the ladder in the back of my truck I've been carrying around forever.Because we were there all week Ryan even gave me a loaner car until my truck was completed.One thing was obvious when I was there. This is THE GOTO SERVICE CENTER for anything hitch, toolbox, fuel tank, rock shield, etc. that might be needed for your truck. It was unbelievable how many guys bought brand new trucks for RV hot shotting and first thing they did was take it to Ryan for all the towing necessities. This place is super busy all day long, every day, like ants on an ant hill.Like I said being from Alabama I can't just head up there any day of the week but I'll be in Elkhart at least once per year for RV inspection and I'll hold off on any truck accessory that I can until I can get to Dan's.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had an air system problem with our motorhome as we left the campground this morning. We stopped into Dan s for some guidance. They took a look and referred us to another repair shop.They were so very kind, friendly and helpful!!Thank you! We are now fixed and on the road to home Nova Scotia, Canada Mike & Pam Porter

Stacy and Ryan run a top notch business. Purchased a 5th wheel from Tiara RV Sales from out of state and was referred to Dans to install a new GenY hitch. Both Stacy and Ryan ensured that the hitch would arrive by the time I arrived to pick up the new 5th. Excellent communication and service. Dans Service Center is Highly recommend. Thank you for easing my worries.

By far the best in the NATION. I had a Tool & Fuel installed at a different place and never was happy with the flow rate right from the start. After less than a year the flow stopped altogether leaving me with 45 gallons on diesel slopping out from the cap that never quite sealed. I communicated easily by text to arrange an appointment. Dan took one look and knowledgeably recognized several installation issues from my shop of lesser expertise. Dan and his guys fit me into their schedule even staying late to finish me up helping to keep me on schedule. Now, my flow rate is beyond what I had ever experienced, the seepage from the cap has stopped, and it even looks much better and way more professional with the correct cap they provided. Was it the cheapest fix available? Nope, but it was done the RIGHT way. Moral to the story, if you don t have the budget and or time to do it right the first time how will you afford the extra expense and added time to have it done right the second time? Learn from my mistake and go to Dan s FIRST.

Genuinely disgusting people. These guys tried to charge me $500 for a job I got done for $300. They wanted to take my truck for most of the day so I went across town and got it done in 30 minutes. But here s the kicker. Everyone who works here is extremely rude worse than even the TSA. I was flabbergasted by the way they speak to paying customers. One guy suggested that if I didn t buy a battery from him, then I should just find a new line of work . 1 star is too much, for real.

Verify!!! VERIFY VERIFY!!!The folks over at Dan's hitch are awesome. I went in there the 1st time and bought a part and got the wrong one because I thought I knew what I needed. When I went back to return it, I had absolutely no problems. More importantly, Ryan asked me multiple questions to help ensure I got exactly what I needed. When I was unsure, he permitted me to take the item out to verify what I thought I needed was correct. It wasn't!!! So again, Ryan saved me a trip back out to the shop. When it was all said and done, I had everything I needed for a smooth ride. They even placed an order for an additional part they didn't have in stock. Even ordered extras for drivered in need of the same item!!Dan's hitch is definitely the place to go and get your tow car and trailer needs!!!

We were purchasing a new motor home and Dan s Service Center was highly recommended by the manufacturer to get us setup to tow our Ford Explorer. We were scheduled to get our motor home on Tuesday and then to go in to Dan s Wednesday morning for services that would require a day and a half to complete. When we went to pick up our RV on Tuesday there were still some things that needed to be done so we postponed the Service at Dan s until Thursday. Dan s was really great about rescheduling us for the next morning. Then Thursday rolled around and there were still some alterations necessary. So, we were able to bring in just the car Thursday, and then the RV on Friday. Once again, Dan s was very gracious and understanding and worked us into their busy schedule for Friday morning. Friday morning rolled around and a few things were found on the motor home the night before that required testing before we could leave so we let Dan s know we would be running late. We finally made it to Dan s Service Center on Friday at about 1:40PM. We walked in and were warmly greeted before Ryan proceeded to walk us through many options and give us instruction on how each item would be used and in which circumstances we would want the different versions possible and made it very easy for us to make the choices that were best for us. There was absolutely no pressure and we were even steered away from more expensive options because they just weren t going to be necessary for our setup. After a lot of Q&A we made the decisions and they got to work. Since it was already late into the day on Friday and Dan s closes at noon on Saturday there obviously wasn t enough business hours to finish the project before we were supposed to head out, but their team got right to work anyway. Then, when noon Saturday came around nobody stopped working. Everyone just kept moving forward trying to wrap things up for us. Dave, who was the lead technician on our job, had a family event that day and still made it a priority to get our project done. Around 5PM on Saturday everything was finished up but even then nobody tried to rush us out. They went over all of the operations in great detail and answered our questions for at least another hour and even let us practice under their guidance. If everything ended right there I would still be writing this glowing review, but, it didn t end there. After the Dan s technicians worked so hard to get us out the door on time, one of the problems that held us up before coming to Dan s popped up again. The problem was the ACM unit of our new Volvo VNL truck that Volvo ended up fixing under warranty and was something that was happening before we ever went to Dan s. It just happened to come and hit us as we were leaving that day. Well, Dan s was now closed (it took us a while to get ready to head out) and we were stranded outside the facility and the Volvo service center wasn t open until Monday. So, we contacted Ryan from Dan s and told him the situation. He told us it was no problem and we could plug into the power outside Dan s Service Center and just stay there that weekend. He checked on us several times to make sure we were OK and even texted us after we pulled out to make sure we had all the info we needed to get to the Volvo service center. While we were stuck at Dan s one of the service technicians even brought some kids in on Sunday so our kids had some people to play with. They went above and beyond, above and beyond, in every way. Thank you Ryan, Thank you Dave and thank you Dan s Service Center.

Pleasure to deal with this company. Did an excellent job installing hitch on my Forester. Very professional and knowledgeable. They even texted me pictures of the work in process. Couldn't be happier with the result.They are not just hitches, they have lots of automotive accessories.

Dan s is the Only place I go for All my towing needs. The professionalism of there staff, up front in the office and also in the shop, and the detail of all the installations they do are unmatched anywhere. They always come up w/ solutions to all my problems whether it s w/ a truck or trailer and always go over and above. I m very picky and detail oriented, and i m proud to say that Dan s is one of the Only places that i m totally at ease leaving any of my vehicles or trailers knowing that they re in the very best of hands.-Thanks so much Ryan & all the Staff at Dan s..!!**here s a couple pics. of your latest project w/ a short video at night w/ the LED install for plowing & parking on the road at night sucking up leaves, working great..!!

We had called around to several places in Michiana to see if any of them had the part we needed and were relieved to find Dan s Service Center had it! They ve got a great selection of anything you need for towing. They are also professional and kind. Definitely recommend!

Dan's Saved ME !!These guys are great. Good Prices, GREAT customer service, and they genuinely care about the customer. I went in with NO notice after a different installer cancelled my appointment because all their workers called in sick, to get Mud Flaps and Rock Guard installed. I completely expected them to tell me they were booked up, like all the others did, and they couldn't help me. When I first asked they did say they didn't think they could schedule me for a day or two because they were extremely busy. When I explained that another installer had cancelled on me, and I was kinda stuck, he asked when I was supposed to start and have orientation. When I told him it was the next morning. he stopped and thought a moment, and then said, well I don't want to leave you stranded so if you can leave the truck with me, I will work it in even if I have to have a couple of my guys stay late. And that's exactly what they did. They stayed late, got everything done, and text me that I could come and get my truck. Standard charge for everything, didn't even charge extra for working late. It is so nice to to see a company and staff that genuinely care about their customers. I will never go anywhere else for anything that I can have done there.

Ok...so this is my second purchase with Dan's! 1st time for a transfer flow tank and today for a gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter! BOTH times they found out that there was something I didn't need and talked me out of paying THEM more for something I wouldn't get any use out of!This is how I like to do business! If you are straight with a customer.... they will always come back! I drive 1 1/2 hrs to get to them and I will be there again! Shop local BUT also shop Honest! We love these people!

Can't say enough great things about the quality of the service provided by Dan's Service Center. I brought in my Chevy Colorado toad and my Newmar Dutch Star RV, and they took care of EVERYTHING! Consulted with me over several sessions on all of the "options" for tow equipment and bike rack, patiently explaining all of the pros and cons. Ryan was very careful to try to understand precisely what I was looking for, in terms of "convenience vs. price," and his recommendations didn't disappoint. And while Ryan's "no nonsense" demeanor can be a bit off-putting at first, I came to appreciate it over the course of the three full days of installation work. There is no question that the folks at Dan's Service Center strive to provide the utmost in professional quality work, and at a reasonable/fair price. They even provided my wife and I a loaner car (albeit, nothing fancy!) for our personal use for the three days that we had to wait for the work to be finished.And I also must mention the fantastic service provided by their installer Dave. Dave was a delight to work with, very personable, and very patient with my incessant questions. And his 27+ years of experience in installing this kind of equipment really inspired confidence, as he carefully and methodically walked us through the entire set of procedures for safely getting connected and disconnected.If you need RV towing equipment, including bike rack support, there is no better place than Dan's Service Center. Called dan s and talked to them for about a week over the phone and Ryan was extremely helpful along with the rest of the team in talking me through the process of exactly what I needed as well as exactly what I wanted at the same time. I drove up (about 9 hours) and dropped my truck off after making my appointment over the phone and when I got to the shop it was like I d known these guys for years. They were super nice and welcoming and had unbelievable knowledge of the products they were selling me. They outfitting my truck for me in a very timely manner considering everything they done to it. After the installation was complete they gave me a complete walk around of everything they did and personally showed me how every single part they added to my truck worked and made me very comfortable with the new equipment. Bottom line if you need anything done from a bulb replaced to a total towing outfit put on your rig I wouldn t hesitate to let Ryan and the guys do anything you could imagine. They are definitely the real deal and I look forward to doing business with them for years to come. Thanks guys!

Stopped by Dan s at 8 am to get truck outfitted for rv transport. Received great advice and excellent pricing! They are very busy, but spent the time to advise on best equipment for my situation. They stayed long past normal hours to finish my truck and Ryan spent time to ensure everything was completed and gave me a quick user tour of the equipment! Highly recommend!

While towing a boat on a trailer from Illinois to Maine, after having the trailer bearings replaced in Illinois, I had a massive failure on the Indiana Toll Road near South Bend. With a few calls I got a recommendation to go to Dan's Service Center. They were extremely busy but were willing to assist me in getting back on the road the same day. They fixed the problems with the poor installation and got me back on the road. I was very impressed with the service and extremely satisfied with how much they charged me for the service. This is a great service center with outstanding knowledgeable employees.
