Rob was great to work with, and is very honest. He was able to do an extensive cat/exhaust repair job on our 2012 Town & Country, along with a wheel hub and bearing replacement- all within 2 days. He even replaced a second bearing at no charge when he noticed it was making noise during the test drive after he had fixed everything else. I would highly recommend Exhaust Masters to anyone who needs mechanical work for their vehicles.

The service was excellent. I was able to wait for the repair of the car conveniently. The mechanic dropped me off at Starbucks and picked me up. The prices were unbeatable. They carry a strong sense of integrity and pride in their work.

OMG! Rob(Mgr) has got to be one of the kindest and most honest man I have ever met. I brought my Honda Fit in because there was something dragging under my car. He looked at it and told me it was a plate (I forgot what he actually called it.) But it was so badly damaged. Rob said it was more for cosmetic and I really didn t need it. But I could order the part from Honda and he would put it on for me. So I had him take it off.Anyway I asked him to check my brakes and fluids which he did and he told me I m fine on the brakes for another 30,000+ miles. And my fluids are fine. I forgot what he told me when to have them checked again. And ladies you definitely need to go there! Because he won t take advantage of the fact that you are a woman. He s straight up one of the good ones.And the best part is when I asked him how much I owed him he said NOTHING. How great was that?? I will definitely go back to EXHAUST MASTERS! Thanks Rob

Dave S, Crown Point, IN: LS4-5.3 V8-VW 1999 New Beetle Build 4/15/2024"Reached out to Rob G for some exhaust mods on my 1999 New Beetle LS4 Swap ( yep complete LS4 swap, ( 2008 Impala SS) mid ship in New Beetle, INSANE BUILD) So Rob, was the only muffler shop that responded to my on line request. Two other muffler shops ( including another local Exhaust Masters, after looking at the build, told me that "it can't be done") Rob G, looked at my LS4 exhaust set up & offered a solution. Rob ( again a real car guy,) can just look at a project & see a solution. He just has the vision, to do these unusual muffler projects, that other shops turn away. Result: well executed, fair priced, job & I am 100% satisfied. I will be back with my next insane build project."

We have been using this shop for 10+years. I refuse to take my car anywhere else. If my husband even mentions bringing my car to Duke for an oil change, I have a fit. I trust them with everything they do. Their prices are also very reasonable & I nvr feel ripped off. They will even bring you home if you have to leave your car there.

Excellent customer service and professional repairs. I requested a muffler delete and they came up with multiple solutions and went over the pros and cons of each. Highly recommend! Called and spoke to Rob to get an estimate on valve cover gasket replacement and new spark plugs. He was pleasant, patient, and helpful answering all my additional questions. This was my first time at Exhaust Masters. I would highly recommend them! Rob was Awesome! I had my brakes, rotators, calipers, oil change and muffler taken care of by some fantastic mechanics. The price was fair and honest and the customer service and turn around time was amazing. If you need work done on your car I would definitely recommend calling them.Services: Exhaust, Brakes, Oil change

Took my car in for spark plugs and an intake problem... They knocked it out as if it was nothing! While other shops were lying to me about the issue just to get more money. I can't stress enough how honest these guys are at Exhaust Masters! They explain everything to you and make sure you know what's being done. Their service is very much appreciated!

Piss poor customer service was supposed to order a part for my car ordered and said he called me which he never did then when I finally called about it he said he sent it back and had to reorder it and got loud with me on the phone

This was my first time going to Exhaust Masters. My check engine light had turned back on after a different mechanic put a new catalytic converter in my car two months prior. So I took it to George & Rob and was pleased with the service! Not only did they fix what was causing the light to be on but they explained everything very thoroughly to me & explained what may have caused the converter to go bad in the first place. On top of that, George even gave me a ride to the local library so I could get some work done while they worked on my car. This place is a good one in my book!!!Service: Auto exhaust system repair

The owner insulted my car. Also was sitting in the break room with 3 cars in the bay not working at all. Scolded me for not coming in earlier in the week and was an all around grump. Maybe have some compassion toward people that are willing to give you business. I would steer clear of this place at all costs.

Had wanted to get an H pipe installed on my mustang. I brought them the part and they quoted me a reasonable price to have it installed. only took them about 2 hours and was very happy with how it sounded. Highly recommend this place!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

What a pleasant experience! I was having some exhaust problems so I decided to bring my car here because I was in the area. I worked with Rob, and he was very honest with me about what was going on and how long it would take to fix it. I was originally prepared to leave my car at the shop for a few days, but they had it fixed in just a few hours! I will gladly come back here every time. The staff was great, the work was exceptional, and the price was right. I also noticed they have a great rapport with their other customers. Can't recommend this shop enough!Service: Exhaust

I had the privilege of coming to exhaust masters because my car that is normally quiet was running very loud I had taken my car to pep boys to be examined first pep boys gave me a bill of 3,803.41 I must say I THANK JESUS for exhaust masters my bill was over 95% percent cheaper than what was quoted to me at pep boys Exhaust Masters did the job in less than an hour my car was quiet as the day I met her with 12 miles on it was a privilege working with George and Rob.. if I ever have a problem I wIill definitely come back if I know anyone that has a problem with their vehicle I will definitely send them your way thank you George and Rob

Very Great Service, Rob even took the initiative to show me what was wrong with my car and told me my best option. These people know what they are doing. I took it to Firestone on 30 (Lincoln highway) and they just took my money and didn t show me anything or tell me my options. I spent probably $1500 on my 01 Honda Accord and wasn t happy about the results. Took it to Exhaust Masters and they did what they were supposed to do really great service and definitely coming back.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Very helpful when other places left me down. They used good quality material. They were very willing to show me what the problem was and they showed me the good quality work they had done after it was all fixed. The charges were very reasonable. I was so thrilled with what they did with my exhaust system that I took my wife's car in the next day so they could fix the air conditioning. Another great job and a very happy customer. I will be going back to them in the future.

Quality work done by the owners of this facility, with fair prices. This is my first experience with this shop, and everyone there was incredibly friendly. I had a mid muffler delete done on my 2020 Dodge Challenger. The job looks great, and the car sounds much better. I would come back for any other work needed of this nature, and I would highly recommend them.

George quoted me $2000 for an exhaust crack & to replace a catalytic converter. I took the car to a respected muffler shop in Joliet IL and they did it for $375 out the door. George told me I needed to replace all 3 catalytic converters on my vehicle but the other place told me that the computer says exactly which bank is the problem and there s no need to replace all 3. Even if you triple the price I paid it s still nowhere near George s price. I thought I could trust George & his son, because he fixed two of my cars before for $700 and $1100, now I am not so sure. Maybe those were also overpriced. Maybe it s just business - Dyer IN is the most expensive city in NWI - maybe Dyer residents are happy to pay outrageous prices. I ve been trying to make it make sense - $375 x 5 is still less than what George quoted me. It doesn t make any sense, and I won t be returning. I would advise anyone who receives a large quote to get a second one.

George is the best. He saved me 2100.00 when another repair place told me I needed things done that actually didn't need to be done. Honest and fresh.I recently returned for more maintenance, thinking I would need serious repairs. George checked the car out thoroughly and test drove it. To my complete surprise and happiness, I didn't have any needed repairs. He is amazing. He not only knows cars inside and out, but he's also honest. This is an amazing combo. My Father and I Have Been going to Exhaust Masters for 20+ years. There has not been one time we have ever been wronged and always been happy with the work they do there. George and his son Have been very Professional and light hearted.
