Everything was good except the price. Too expensive! $100+ but since there was a tornado that came through where we had booked and there wasn't any power we had to move to another town which landed us here paying $40 more.Does have hot breakfast which was a nice surprise. Is clean with good water pressure.

Update: stayed another night here and it was worse then before. Went to breakfast no eggs or anything, barley any cereal the milk smelled expired, all the bread and muffins and donuts were hard as a rock and spoiled. Just don't even bother staying here. Places like this shouldn't even serve breakfast then.Place was nice and clean but the person at the desk seemed annoyed to have to check someone in. Seemed to be more interested in hiding in the dark with their phone. Denny's is down the road and it was quiet. Breakfast was okay. I had to choose between here and motel 6 and paid extra but probably would of picked motel 6 if I would of known better.

I do not recommend this hotel, especially when there are a number of other options nearby. The staff at check-in seemed pretty disinterested during the process, but thankfully it was brief. Immediately upon entering the room we were met with a strong mustiness and humidity, despite the A/C running. The trim painting was very sloppy, which may seem minor, but it is an indicator of the care that goes into the maintenance of the property. Similarly, lots of careless details in the bathroom/shower. To sum up, this should be your last resort for a stay if you are traveling through the area. Plenty of other options nearby.

Giving this hotel a 2 star rating simply because my stay was short.The beds were comfortable. We received extra pillows without any fuss. However, the entire room was damp and smelled so much like mildew, we had to get air freshener from room service to mask the smell. The carpet was also damp and made walking in bare feet feel squishy and gross. The bathroom itself was fine.The breakfast was atrocious. It was supposed to go until 9 and we went at 8. They only had waffles, eggs with pepper, and sausage. For a busy weekend for Holiday World guests, there was not enough space for guests to grab food and not enough food to go around.Additionally, the staff left employee-only areas left open, including the laundry room, and "kitchen," which was just a microwave.

This hotel has a lot of potential to be a great stay, but they kind of missed the mark on this one.I reserved a room for two adults and three kids, and were staying two nights. When we pulled out the couch bed, there were balled up sheets on it - it had not been changed. We had to call for fresh sheets for it. They were very speedy in bringing us the sheets.We only had four towels and wash cloths in the room upon arrival. We made do with what we had. While we were out during the day after the first night, we expected to have at least fresh towels brought in. They did not. I had to call to request towels and wash cloths, which they brought fairly quickly.For breakfast, they had places for three kinds of cereals. There was only one the first morning. I asked if he had more of the Fruit Loops (because kids) and he said it was out of order. I asked if they had some of the cereal they could give us, and his only reply was "Out of order." The second morning, there was Fruit Loops. We got the impression they just didn't want to fill anything up.

Transferred from the Motel 6, see as to why in my reviews please!Had everything we expected and asked for with an amazing front desk service!Rooms absolutely clean, inside pool, amazing service for anything we needed!A.M. manager was so so amazing, can't express enough!Breakfast was delicious and it made mine and my daughters holiday world girls trip so much better after our experience next door!Love them, and absolutely recommend them for just a few dollars more....Had all the amenities you'd expect!Thank you Baymont for finishing our trip on an amazing note!Noteworthy details: Thank you for finishing our weekend vacation on a non stressful note!!Definitely will be back!

We booked this hotel due to the close location to Holiday World. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely rude and seemed inconvenienced to do his own job. The room itself was horrid. It smelt like mildew and a faint smell of cigarettes in a non smoking room. There was a mysterious stain found on the sheets of one of the beds, along with several on the pillows. The bedding did not smell fresh, and the bedding was damp. The shower curtain also had mold on it. The shampoo was extremely runny and left my hair feeling crusty, pretty sure it was dish soap. The conditioner was plugged and crusted over, so I was unable to condition my hair. While we were sitting in the room, a random woman (we suppose a crackhead) came from the woods behind the hotel and knocked on our window and was wanting to come inside. We decided to check out early due to the poor satisfaction we received. When we told the man at the front desk our concerns, he acted like it was our problem and could care less.Rooms: The room was severely outdated and looks nothing like the pictures. It smells like mildew and the sheets did not smell fresh.Safety: Did not feel safe at this hotel due to a random woman knocking on our window.

Would not recommend. Rooms were dated and dingy. Our room had a cheap fake wood floor that was rather sticky (yuck). My Mother s room had carpet but it was dingy. Smelled musty in rooms and hallway. No soap or personal care amenities in the room. The dispensers in the shower were empty. We stayed two nights and our rooms were not serviced. The keys to Mom s room did not work well and she was locked out the second night. I booked here because I had previous decent experiences with the Bayshore brand, but this place was not even close to the standard.

Place is a dump and is ran down. No lawn care water stain ceilings and stinks. Clearly a lack of maintenance being done. Rooms are out dated. Towels are yellow not white with strings. Never brought me the cot I requested. Outside is filthy had someone nasty bandaid laying all over the ground under outside bench that been their a long time. Weeds growing up to you waist. Place is a pure dump

This hotel was really nice especially if it's price and how close it is to Holiday World. The rooms were neat and clean nothing fancy but they're not needing to be. The Wi-Fi was almost useless to the point where their own television basically didn't even work. My children loved the indoor pool. It was functionally everything it needed to be

It was dirty. The sheets still had hairs from somebody other than us on them along with the pillows. The room smelled of mold or mildew. The a/c made the windows wet. The mini fridge did not work. Wasted food because of it. Our toilet was broken. Was charged for the toilet to get a new part even though it was broken before we got there. TV remote didn't work. The stairwell was disgusting. Filthy dirty and also smelled. Very displeased. Went to complain and nobody was at the desk. Didn't want to stay the 2nd night, was told I could cancel even though it was the night prior. Just very disgusted. It was loud. Could hear teens running down the halls, could hear rooms around us. Thumping. KEY card didn't work well, majority of the time had to swipe 6 or more times. Nobody to help. Had to tell the cleaning guy about the toilet because nobody was around. In an area that has nothing around it. Looks sketchy with abandoned gas station and motel 6 down from it. Gross. Never. Again.

The day of arrival after driving 5 hours the desk clerk was m.i.a.I waited for a good while as another person and another family. I finally start checking to see if maybe had a medical emergency ,So I walked around the desk ,office and laundry area yelling out called the number on the phone if no one at the desk nothing.I might ad these areas were very dirty. Finally the desk clerk returns after 50 minutes states did you call the number yes I did oh my phones dead... Really could careless he stated he was checking room. So lets proceed to check in he was locked out of the computer wait once again he had to call someone to unlock .He had our rooms wrong wanted adjoining rooms he got that straightened out. Proceed to the elevator got on it made a LOUD sound like a boom going up and going down well we didn't take it again we walked to the 3rd level up and down every time. The sheets had stains all over them thank god we brought our own.The beds felt like a piece of wood with a foam covering very hard the wash sinks were clogged didn't report it they really could care less. I ask for a manger the next Moring I was told there was none they ask what was the problem I explained I was told well we have 200 guest today we have to do everything.If we could of found another place to stay we sure would of. I would not eat the food they prepare in there back office it was dirty the just use a micro wave and a sink which I might add is dirty. So do yourself a favor didn't spend your hard earn money here drive 15 miles down the road and find a clean hotel . I will be uploaded pictures.The response that the management gave is not accepted by me make a change a good manager actual makes changes if there was good management there would not be problems. I'm a property manager myself comments you made to prior complaints mirrors this one . I feel I should be refunded for the terrible experience. A property or any business that is poor is a reflection of management. This is the worst location I have ever stay within the Baymont Chain.Nearby activities: Holiday World

Absolutely a gem! The hotel is very clean! The suites are gorgeous. Farrah was very nice and helpful. Early check in was appreciated. Breakfast was plenty. We will be making this our go to place. Minutes from holiday world. We loved this hotel!! A super clean place that is family friendly.Rooms: Huge suites ! Perfect for a big family like mine.Nearby activities: Holiday World minutes away!Safety: Was very comfortable and safeWalkability: Denny s and Wendy s a couple blocks downFood & drinks: Denny s and Wendy s close and a grocery down the steet

My family and some friends took a trip to holiday world to enjoy some family and friends timeWell the park was great, this hotel was not clean, very outdated, carpet looked very old and musty. The pool looked like it hasn t been cleaned ever. Pool had a dark green tint to it. My first room was hot and ac unit was broken had the switch rooms due to that. Second room worked, but wasn t cleaned very well, soap dispensers were mixed up shampoo was hand soap dispensers were not working like they should have either! Poor customer service front desk was always empty. Seemed like most things in this hotel were broken. Not the best experience especially for a premium price of 160 a night. Not worth the money. Could have found a nicer motel 8. I do not recommend only good thing was the location

Great location and great staff, and fair price. My comments for improvement:a) One of the rooms that we checked in to had a bad odor; luckily the lady at the front desk, named Lupita, was cooperative and changed us to a better room...thank you Lupita!b) Breakfast is thrifty, very limited options and no fruitsc) Some of the towels in my room had stain....please clean.c) The internet is unsecure- anyone in the premise of the property can log into it, which is not safe (exposure to potential scammers). Please make it password protected.Otherwise, the area is quiet, and close to Holiday World to I-64.

There were no bath towels in our room when we arrived. After requesting towels from 2 employees, there were still none in our room after we returned from the day out. We had to resort to taking them from the pool area in order to shower.Nearby activities: Short drive to Holiday World. Only 2 eating places nearby.

Stayed at this hotel for our Holiday World visit. Came on a Sunday, left on a Wednesday.Pro s-great location, Denny s and Wendy s are about a minute away and town with amenities is 4 minutes away. Holiday world is an easy 12 minute drive away, which was great.-hotel staff was always very friendly, whatever we needed, we just went to the main desk and they provided.-continental breakfast was actually decent, better than most hotels-not busy, which could be a bad sign, but it was good for me.-cable television and wifi worked well- nice AC in the rooms-very well lit parking lotCons- the looks of the hotel in general is that it is pretty run down. From the outside to the inside, its not a very clean place. While the room itself was tidy upon entering, it definitely was not clean. There were plenty of crumbs on the floor. Lifting up the mattress revealed more crumbs, hair, and debris. The refrigerator had sauce spilled inside of it.- limited vending machine options.-there was an ice machine, but no water fountain. There was no way to get filtered water in the hotel anywhere.-the doors to the stairwells were unlocked and or broken (photo attached). Which feels unsafe.- the pool was really bad. As you can see in the photos, it was very dirty. The sides and bottom were very slimy with algae.-the biggest disappointment was housekeeping. Our entire stay, housekeeping didn t visit our room once. Our trash cans were full, we never had fresh towels, our tea and coffee wasn t replaced, toilet paper wasn t replaced, beds weren t refreshed. We had to go to the main desk to get everything and we had to take out the trash ourselves every day. This is the main reason we wouldn t return.The photo of the hotel room is after we had stayed there a few days, its just for reference. The beds were made when we first arrived.

We stayed on December 9th for the festivities in Santa Claus.The rooms were amazing in size. The rooms were clean, linens clean, nice bright hallways, breakfast was good. Our biggest complaint was the pool. The water was black! Algae everywhere. I complained to the front desk and the manager said that it s fine, the chemicals are working fine and there was no algae. He said he sends a report to the health department every week and they didn t have any issues. If they would ve seen it tgey would have! There was a very strong nasty rotten sewer smell in the hall on the 3 floor. Also, the bottoms of the luggage cart was very visibly moldy.

The room was filthy. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. The back of the toilet was nasty, the floor was dirty, so was the tub. I asked to have it re- cleaned while we were gone. Just the back of the toilet was cleaned. The comforter was dirty. Not just stains but dirty. The duvet wasn't changed from the last guest. The carpets in the hallways were filthy. The only good thing was the front desk staff. They were very nice.

If you want to have an indoor pool and a great breakfast I recommend this hotel. Staff friendly. If you care about cleanliness and not being watched on a video I don t recommend this hotel. We reserved two rooms.310 had mouse droppings in the bathroom floor. The bathtub had old shampoo or conditioner caked in it. Our sheets had someone s mascara all over them. A drawer had someone else s pants in them. The bottom of the bathtub was slick as snot. The back of the toilet had pee all over it!308 had no shampoo conditioner or body wash. Found a cup from previous renter under the bed. Hair was all over bathroom floor. Blankets were dirty.The pool looked nothing like what was advertised. It was green and the bottom look like dirt or sand was in it. Our rooms were full of dust as well.The pictures online do not depict what this hotel is like at all. For $360 for just a bed to sleep on from 8pm to 6 am there should be plenty of money to hire a good housekeeper and a good manager to make sure rooms are ready for the next guests.We are very disappointed with our stay. I have included photos from 310. We have discussed this with front desk upon checkout. We have emailed twice. Called the office again and spoke with V. Called booking.com and forwarded them the emails and pictures. Also left reviews on as many sites as possible that have this hotel listed! This is absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for.Britney Newton

Broken chair and door frame upon check in. Terrible hotel... but there are very little options this close to holiday world that aren't incredibly expensive. Front desk was very little help when told about the dangerous issues.Rooms: TerribleSafety: Dangerous

My family stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend. We were visiting family.No housekeeping on duty. Stayed 3 nights. Beds were never made. Carpet was filthy. Black on the bottom of my feet.We asked for more towels and wash clothes and we re told they had none left.Breakfast was ok, but nothing remarkable.Beds we re supposed to be queen but more like double size.We were very disappointed.
