I brought in my fianc�s car on Monday with low tire pressure in both rear tires, they were able to repair both within a few hours from nails. Brought my own car in on Wednesday with a flat tire & they found a screw and again were able to repair it within hours. Very friendly desk staff as well. Highly recommend!!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They explain things to you. Prices were pretty much the going rate if not slightly cheaper than a few other places, so I d say this is a good place to go

I love that I can always trust this place to not only give me the best price, but really speedy service. They are always so polite in person and on the phone too. Even when I needed a new tire because of a nail, instead of just charging me to replace it, they let me know it looked new enough to be under warranty still so I would t have to spend extra money. This is why I go back- honesty, fair price, good customer service. I can not say enough good things about my experience. The trunk on SUV stopped working over the weekend. My sons first birthday party is next week and I was panicked about picking up balloons and food without being able to use my trunk. Levin allowed me to drop off my car before I went into work on Monday. They were able to quickly figure out the problem and fix it the same day. They also replaced my tires and completed an alignment and I was able to pick uk my car on my lunch break.Cheryl was BEYOND kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. When I updated my address in their system, it deleted my phone number. She was so resourceful that she remember the name of the clinic I work at because she saw it on the jacket I was wearing that morning. She looked up my office phone number and got in touch with me there. I was so impressed by this!I will continue using them for all my auto needs.Service: Auto tire replacement

We were traveling back to Indiana for the 4th of July weekend. Had a flat Sunday evening and were running on the temp tire. Had a pet emergency and needed a real tire to travel 4 hours to get home. Went to Levin Tire and like all tire companies they were booked solid on July 3. They did backflips in order to help us. They didn't have to but they did. Thank you Levin Tire. Been coming home to Crown Point for 30 years and Levin has always been there for our family. Every experience with them has been first class.Service: Tires

Terrible service. Tried to charge my daughter and her friend $30 to put on a spare tire because they were stranded in the parking lot. I had to leave work and drive 30 minutes to help because Sheryl (the rude front desk lady) said it might take a very long time. I can t believe I ve given my business to this terrible establishment before, I will never come back. The tire technician even said he had time to change the tire but SHERYL refused. Stay away.

Cheryl is rude and should not be working with customers. She called me kiddo and wanted me to get out the door because I was 60 miles away from my warranty running out. When I came back with my husband to talk about his truck she instantly caught an attitude with us. I do not recommend coming here at all.

This is the worst place to take your vehicle to. I bought in my vehicle at 7:30 in the morning, (per the courteous lady who took our call who said FIRST COME FIRST SERVE ) to work on my vehicle and they still had not started at 12:45 pm. Too bad I can t give it a zero. Second chance and now no THIRD chance.

Lady at front counter was able to give me an estimate price on having my wheels changed and she was very informative and kind. They told me it would take a couple hours but I was out of there in one. They informed me of issues I had with my car but didn't try to persuade me into spending more money like most other place's do. & they bagged my old tires for me so I wouldn't get my car dirty. I was very impressed with their service! I love my car & appreciate this place! They take good care of you.

We got two flat front tires due to hitting debris while traveling down I-65. They were nice and explained all the issues they were seeing. They made the repairs and got us back on our way in a timely manner.

I had over 1700.00 dollars of work done there. Cheryl is awesome. Polite and very nice. They called me before any work was done to let me know what was wrong and the price. I had all 4 shocks and front struts replaced on my suv. They had the best price in town and had me in and out quickly. They have quality parts and back their work with an awesome warranty. I worked with Neil who helped me. The lady up front is also very kind and professional. I will be doing business for all of our vehicles here from now on. On 2/16/2022 I was traveling south on I-65 to attend a funeral. Just before the Crown Point exit my tire pressure indicator came on so I took the exit and pulled into a gas station to check my tire. Sure enough there was a piece of metal in the tread. I did a quick Google search and found that Levin Tire was a few miles away. Luckily my tire help pressure long enough to get there. The staff welcomed me and my dog into the waiting area. I told them I was traveling to my father s funeral and they took my car right in, replaced my tire and got me on my way. Very thankful for their kind, speedy service.Service: Tires

This location and staff are great. There was a problem fixing my car, and it was a challenging issue with the gasket timing cover. Though it took longer to fix than originally planned, they offered to get a rental car for me free of charge. The customer service is fantastic. And the whole crew is great. Would highly recommend.

My first time trying Levin, Crown Point, and definitely my last. Called this morning, requested an appointment but was told to just bring the car in and they d take care of me this afternoon. Dropped the car off at 2 to get an oil change/tire rotation, told them I d walk around Crown Point to buy some time and be back in a little over an hour. Also said my kid was next door at daycare so this was really convenient to try out. Came back an hour and ten minutes later and my car had not been touched. They said they d be bringing it in ASAP to be worked on (after thinking it was already finished) so I took a seat. 20 minutes had passed and my car was still sitting in the parking lot. So, I had waited for an hour and 30 minutes and no one had even touched my car - for a basic oil change.Walked up to the counter, asked for my keys to leave, they seemed confused that my car had not been worked on at this point. Got the standard I m sorry. We were busy. Nothing else. I d like to say that the gentleman at the counter was polite each time I talked to him and I m not saying they were rude, but this store needs to seriously get it together. There was 1 person waiting when I got there, no one waiting when I got back. So knowing that I was walking around CP, stalling so they can work on the car and then I d pick up my child... just seemed extremely arrogant that they had let it sit there for an hour and a half.Again, this was my first time trying Levin and certainly my last. How about a bring it back first thing tomorrow and we ll hook you up with a discount or something to help the situation. But no, just a I m sorry. We were busy. I d recommend going elsewhere to a company that values their customers, especially brand new ones... clearly Levin Crown Point does not.

I would NEVER suggest Levin Tires in Crown Point off of Main, like ever!I called in the morning said to bring my car in at 430. I get there and the desk rep tells me I never called and he can't fix this flatt unless I leave my vehicle. I even showed him my call list with their nunber and the time - he still rattled off the same thing, pretty much accusing me of lying. Should have known better to take to that place, never had a good experience with them, but it was close- never ever again.

So I went in for a few repairs but one of which was to get a break flush. After my grand total of 1500 bucks I thought I was all set. Then about a week later my brake sensor and TCS sensor went off. Turns out I was completely out of brake fluid. So I went to the store to top it off and it took a whole bottle. Then when I went to bleed the brakes it was jet black. Doesn't seem like they did what they charged for...Service: Brakes

Slow leak on a tire. They took a long time to get to it but then they did not charge me as it took so long. So that will win them my next set of tires for my truck. I hear all kinds of good things about Levin. I am glad to see they are very busy, always happy to see a Crown Point business doing well.Service: TiresService: Tires

My husband and I are from Indianpolis. We were up around Chicago for work and on our way back home our tire blew. The closest tire shop was this one (11 miles away). We limped the car there and they got us in and out within 20min. It may be due to our kids we re with us, but whatever the reason they got is fixed quick and back on the road! They were really kind; they have no clue how much they saved us and how much we appreciate their fast help.Service: Tires

I used to think they do quality work, but every single time I've ever gone here, I got quoted one thing and then had the price raised on me later on. I took my vehicle there a year ago to get rear shocks. They replaced them, and right as the warranty was running out, I started bottoming out my car on the smallest of bumps. This knocked my exhaust loose. So I brought it back asking if they could look at my exhaust and as well as my shocks and find out why I was bottoming out so easily.They tried to charge me 200 dollars to put a ten dollar bracket on my exhaust, never mentioned my shocks or why I was bottoming out, and tried to get me to pay 1300 dollars to rebuild the rear differential on a 13 year old car! I had also had them change the oil on my fiance's vehicle, and it was dripping oil all over my garage floor when we got home!Despite this, I brought in my fiance's vehicle AGAIN to repair her air conditioning. Three tries later, it still won't work! Now Cheryl wants us to bring it in on a certain day so one of her CERTIFIED techs can work on it? So who the hell was looking at it before? I'm done with this place. You should be too. Stay far away.I would suggest St. John Auto. They always have fair prices, don't change their quotes, and get the work done much more quickly. Give them your business...not Levin.

My wife had a small screw in her tire. She went there to get the tire plugged.The mechanic insisted it was a very large screw and he could not repair. He insisted that she purchase 4 new tires instead - so they all match.Only $1500... she went down the road and got the repair for $25.Women targeted to spend far more than required. Wonder where mechanics get a bad reputation from - places like this.

Great, honest and helpful staff....I was an out of towner that blew a tire on the interstate. I came in to the shop driving on a spare tire. After locating the leak on the sidewall of the deflated tire, they unfortunately did not have the tire I needed on a late Saturday afternoon to replace it, but took the time to check all my tires for proper inflation and that my spare tire had proper torque on all the lug nuts. They made sure my family was safe even though they were not going to make any money on a tire sale.Service: Tires

To start with, the product and the work performed was excellent. My issue is with the appointment times. I had an appointment for 8 am. (For which I was on time). They didn t start working on my vehicle until 12!! Wasn t done until after 1. Worse than a doctors office. Why have appointments when it s really a first come first serve business. I have been a customer here for a long time, and will continue to be. They have always handled the normal checks, tire rotation, balance, etc. But recently they went above and beyond. I had an encounter with a curb. Dark intersection, all of a sudden bright lights. Up and over the curb. Saturday night. Had the car towed to their lot Sunday morning. Bright and early Monday, I get a call. They found my name and number in the car. I told them what happened. Tuesday morning I picked up my car. New front tires! No extra charges. No extra "stuff" I didn't need. Like a lot of places try to do. Just quality service. Great people.

Update:Levin reached out to us after our last frustrating encounter. Their customer service response was enough for me to come back for one more try. Our most recent service was done without a glitch, with smiles, and accurately the first time around - a complete change from the last review that I posted!Original Post:I brought both of my vans in for repairs at Levin Tire this week. In BOTH instances, the work was not completed correctly on the first try. For one of the vans, I purchased 2 new tires for the vehicle. On my way back home from the service center, several warning indicator lights came on. I returned promptly to the store. The service people scratched their heads for a bit. My mom came to pick me up while they continued to brainstorm the issue. When my mom walked up, she immediately noticed that the two back tires were smaller than the tires up front. The mechanic had put the wrong size tires on the vehicle. The manager then said, "This happens all the time."For the second van, once again, the warning indicator light came back on after the initial repair. I returned to the store and they reset the system. On the way out the door, the manager said that if the light comes back on, I may want to replace the gas cap. The next day, the warning light came back on. I purchased a new gas cap from the dealership. The light didn t go off. When I returned to Levin Tire for a third time, I was told to, Drive it around a while and see if the light goes off. After $1, 414.91, I am just supposed to drive it around some more and see if the issue resolves itself. On this third time in the store (for just this particular van), the technician at the counter didn t even bother to get up to check the sensors or offer to reset the system. It felt very much like, We have your money, good luck.

Absolutely love this place! Been coming since I bought my '13 Scion tC last year. Since then I've gotten new brakes and many oil changes from them.
