Since my mechanic retired, I was searching for a new mechanic in my area. Quite a few people recommended Knight Automotive in Crown Point. I made an appointment for my brakes to be checked. The date of my appointment, I was greeted by a young girl who was friendly and helpful. She confirmed my info and advised that they would be in contact soon. Shortly after I dropped my vehicle off, I was contacted by them to say what needed to be fixed with the estimated cost. I agreed and within a few hours my vehicle was ready. As I arrived, I was greeted by another lady who went over everything with me, took my payment and thanked me for choosing them. To find a shop who provides this kind of customer service is hard to find. Everything went smoothly. I was kept in the loop and pricing was reasonable. This is how you do business. They have a new customer. Thank you!

My vehicle was having charging issues, all electrical components checked out okay battery was charged.Don't really know if the problem was solvedI was charged a feeWith nothing showing up to be failing,I won't know anything until vehicle has been driven for a few weeks,, if charging system continues to fail.The problem still consist.I will be returning vehicle.

Amazing body shop! They are open to advising the client of all issues and fix them quickly. This is my third time with them and I am even happier than the first! I love that they allow me to reach out via text and email. Great work guys!

I will never go anywhere else to get my car serviced. Bill and his team are the best! They have been taking care of my car since I moved to Crown Point and I always have peace of mind knowing that my car is road worthy and I'm safe driving it. They are easy to reach and their staff are very friendly! They are right off of Summit and Thomas St.If you have issues with your car - why wait! Knight Auto was my knight in shining Armor All! I needed a new engine & had been debating about repairs. They not only educated me on the process, but researched options for best warranty & quickest install. If not for Knight Auto, I prob buy a new Challenger...They finished my engine install on Friday the 13th. Nothing scary about it! Killer deal & Hemi runs like new! Knight Auto does major repairs without murdering your wallet...PS: Kat was stupendous & simplified the process! Real-time repair updates via text & call. Whatever you're paying her, double it...

I ve known Bill since day one of him deciding to open his own mechanic shop (that s when he was directly behind Pop s Deli in the square). Bill/Knight Automotive is literally the only mechanic/shop that I will take any of my vehicles to. His shop is the most honest place that one could ever ask for if anything were to go wrong with your vehicle. The main difference between Knight Automotive and many other mechanics is that Knight Automotive treats their customers like they are distant, but close cousins. They genuinely care about individuals and will not steer a customer in the wrong way just to make a quick dollar.With Knight Automotive s knowledge, professional dedication, love that he has for his customers, etc .This is easily the most honest mechanic/shop in the region that can take care of nearly all of your auto service needs.If you haven t ever given Knight Automotive a chance to work on your vehicle (whenever it might be needed) - do yourself a favor and go. You ll realize that you should have been going to him than to someone else.

I can't recommend a repair shop any higher than Knight. I've worked as an service advisor at dealerships and the work, customer service, communication is above and beyond better. They took care of my 86 F150 that had several problems. They went above and beyond to get it right and running like a top again.

Every time I come in with a car it is taken care of with more genuine effort and respect than any other place I ve been.Whether the problem is big or little, they are fully transparent in all details, and make absolutely sure the problems are actually 100% fixed before I drive it again.As someone who is not a huge car guy I also genuinely appreciate how no matter what I ask or say regarding a car problem, I am not taken advantage of nor am I treated any differently.This is the only place I will take my carServices: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Knight automotive is a mom/pop shop. Calling and setting up an appointment was quick and easy. I went in for the first time for an oil change. Locally (crown point) Knight automotive I ve heard people having good experiences there, so when a post card coupon came in I figure I give it a try. And the oil change/tire rotation took about 45 min. The only drawback I felt was the customer experience, which is normally a welcoming atmosphere when you walk in, a detailed explanation of the oil change (i.e grade of oil, how the oil looked prior, how much oil was put back, oil filter). Kind of felt like a if they don t ask, don t tell them vibe. Overall, 3 stars. Im used to dealerships or oil chains and thats really what my review is based on, my other automotive experiences. Probably may consider again, since it is close by.

When I called on Wednesday morning the staff was friendly and informed me that they were busy and wouldn't get a chance to look at my car until Monday. By mid morning they informed me of what I needed and I gave them the o.k. to repair it. It was ready by the end of the work day. I was extremely happy with my experience and highly recommend Knight Automotive.

Took my car there twice in the last few weeks, once for a battery, and once for brakes, both time they were very professional, called me on updates of everything that they were doing, in and out within a few hours each time, highly recommend them for any service you need done .

When my car broke down a few days ago, my family and I went there to try and get it fixed. Unfortunately it is out of my price range and just not worth to repair the car (the cars value was just as much as the repair). They were nice the whole time and did not get upset or frustrated at us when we decided we didn't want to repair the car. Would definitely come here for other repairs.
