Great Experience with CDE Collision Center-Crown Point. I highly recommend them. They were able to fit me in and scheduled the repair right away. Staff is very nice, friendly and professional esp. Michelle, Bob and Scott. They keep you informed with the whole repair process via text messaging and call you if something comes up. They pay close attention to detail and the workmanship is amazing. My car is like brand new with a perfect matched paint color for my bumper. They also cleaned and washed my car. This place is a top notch and i will grade them 5 stars in everything.

I highly recommend CDE in Crown Point. Unfortunately, I had to take my vehicle there twice in the past three months for two hit n runs. I didn t hesitate to bring it there the second time, since they did flawless work on my first bumper. It s a friendly establishment and Scott the manager is the best! Five. Stars all the way.

Following a regrettable instance involving her Mitsubishi Mirage and an insufficiently-ascended garage door, my mother found herself in need of a body-shop. This promised to be a complex and difficult undertaking insofar as the old-girl is neither worldly nor technically-inclined. Luckily, my mother's insurance company contracts with CDE--a company of which I'd never previously heard but will henceforth retain exclusively when in need of automotive repair work. From the morning I dropped-off my mother's car at CDE's Crown Point location to the moment I picked it up, the entirety of the individuals with whom I dealt--from reception to repair-staff to management--were personable, demonstrably expert and conscientious in their respective capacities, pro-actively communicative, and cognizant in perpetuity of the fact that most people, my elderly mother in particular, find major automotive repairs a strange and stressful business. I was especially impressed by the forthrightness and integrity CDE demonstrated in the handling of an instance in which a Mitsubishi factory part critical to the repair of my mother's car was determined to be on back-order for a period of time measurable in months. Instead of merely proceeding with a used or knock-off part, CDE contacted me, advised me of the back-order, and presented options. In the end, a resolution was mutually-agreed upon and the repair proceeded with negligible interruption. I'm happy to report my mother's car is back in her garage, fully-repaired, functioning to its design specifications, and cleaner than it was when I dropped it off. Car repairs are a pain in the a**; CDE, however, works diligently to keep the pain to a minimum and get its customers back on the road. If you've got a car or truck to repair and haven't time for runaround, dishonesty, and price-gouging, get in touch with CDE. You'll be glad you did.

Wonderful experience, great work and pays very very close attention to detail. The repair is so amazing that you CAN T tell that it was ever damaged. I have a cherry red Silverado 1500 and the paint matched perfectly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services. I am definitely now a dedicated customer for any other cosmetic repair needed.

I happened to pass by C.D.E. & stopped in just to get an estimate for damages that I caused to my G37. Everyone was so pleasant, all smiles & welcoming. I ended up getting a quick & very economical repair for the damages that i thought would cost me thousands . I could not be more pleased with their service.. As a single woman I truly appreciate businesses that I can trust not to take advantage . I highly recommend C.D.E. to any women who may have similar concerns. I hate that I didn't get the gentleman's name that assisted me but just know that I truly truly appreciate you.Andrea

Not sure how they do buisness but my car has been there almost 2 weeks and not one word as to when it will be done or how it s going, it was minor damage unless it was more but how would I know My check was already mailed last week to them, I wish I would have done more research, only day I had to call was Saturday and they are closedSo car picked up 2 weeks ago unfinished missing parts now I have to go through insurance on how to get the car finished, not 1 word from CDE did t even tell me about the repair or when I can have car washed because of paint, changed oil this weekend the engine bay was filthy just unreal how they do buisness

A deer jumped into the side of my truck and actually did a lot of damage. CDE was able to fit me in quickly and did outstanding work in a timely manner. They communicated frequently with updates via text about the progress on my vehicle and were even done two days earlier than originally planned. They will be my go to from now on for anything I may need in the future. Bob is so compassionate and knowledgeable and you can tell he really loves his job and cares about doing it well. Julie at the front desk is so nice and explains everything in detail so I wasn t confused at all about how the insurance process would go and all of that. They don t detail your car complimentary like most body shops. They are making thousands per repairs and they can t get a detail team to clean your car that s just shocking! Every since they had my sisters car her window doesn t work the same it won t stay closed and she s disabled so it s in inconvenient to take it back in with her schedule for all her medical treatments. Work was done fast and efficiently, was ready for pickup when it was supposed to be. The work looks great and they even cleaned my car. All staff was polite and professional. I used C.D.E. for a repair on my car after it was hit. They worked well with my insurance to make sure all the repairs were taken care of and approved. From the time I dropped it off, until I picked it up, everyone was professional, courteous, and provided constant communication on the progress. It looked so great when I picked it up. CDE was nothing but fantastic for the entire process of getting my car fixed after being rear ended. Bob helped me through the entire process and kept in close communication with what they found with my car and what they recommended. My car looks great!

Polite,knowledgeable . Just basically went in told the problem and gave information about insurance. They did all coordination needed for insurance and car rental. This place is fantastic! The professionalism and compassion they show their customers is incredible. I had to take in my car after I hit an object on the interstate. They took an unpleasant situation and made it as easy as possible. Not only that, the communication during the whole process was amazing. My estimator Scott made sure that I was informed every step of the way and was always available to answer any questions. Fantastic service; cannot recommend them enough. Worked to get us in earlier than originally scheduled, provided constant and clear communication throughout the repair, and the final product looked brand new. I would give them 0 stars if I could!! I get an estimate on my car in December and they say we can t get to your car until January..that s fine..so here it is January 18 and I called saying I m trying to get an update on my car..she goes your appointment was for this morning at 8am..I said well I wasn t aware of the date being today and no one called to follow up with me..she goes well he told my husband when he came to get it looked at..I said but who doesn t give a courtesy call to remind them of their appointment! She goes the next appointment is March 7 which is utterly ridiculous!!Service: Body & Trim
