Kept telling me they couldn't get parts for days at a time. They wanted me to leave my work vehicle there knowing i needed it everyday for work, Come to find out they are friends with my boss who wants to fire me.So I took my vehicle several other places got it fixed. My boss still wants to fire me

So We are taking an hour truck in for an alignment and they couldn't do it because they said that I need other repairs first before they will even touch the alignment .They were very direct and straight to the point and not by any means rude but also not by any means outgoing in the courtesy department.And then they still charged us $45 to do nothing except put it on the lift .... which is crazy because the alignment was only $80 I suppose though all in all I'm happy to know what else needs to be done with my truck.They gave us a quote while we were there on the things they said needed done and we decided to go elsewhere after calling around to some other places and we are going to get the same work done, the same quality of work for that matter, with warranty on the parts and labor, and the price we were given by the other place was just over half of what we were going to have to pay here. But like I said, all in all, Surb's is a good place to go and has knowledgeable mechanics.

These people were so generous and helpful putting a tire on my car in 15 minutes while they were closing up the shop for the day! They saved me a lot of time getting me back to Indianapolis!

We had to stop here after an emergency to replace tires to get home safely and after being in a car unexpectedly for 20 hours, this was not what we were hoping for, for one reason only. There is an employee by the name of Summer who by far has shown the WORST service. I personally watched her go off, cuss words and all, on a fellow employee over something he was unaware of. No employee should EVER have to deal with being talked to like that at work. In addition to that, Summer then walked over to our car and started aggressively going off on me and my family for something that we were also unaware of. It was rude, condescending and she has no place working in customer service. She, and whoever hired her, should be ashamed of themselves for hiring someone who is okay with talking to employees and customers in that manner. However, I want to mention that our technician named Greg was absolutely amazing. Professional, friendly, and quick. I would HIGHLY recommend asking for Greg when visiting this shop... just avoid Summer.

After waking up to a flat tire on my truck at a local campground, I put the spare on and started looking for a place to get the flat one repaired. Luckily, I found Surb's and they were open on a Saturday morning. I walked in and was greeted with a smile. The waiting room was busy but they still managed to get me fixed up in no time. They even offered me a donut as I waited for work to be completed. When I was paying, I asked if they could add air to my spare since it was low. Instead, they offered to put the original tire back on my truck at no charge. Great service! Thanks for making my bad morning as pleasant as possible.Service: Tires

I needed new front tires for my Ford fusion and after having a bad experience with Pomps I did some searching. Not only did I get better tires for a better price but the warranty for the tires if something happened out of state would be covered and would be good for all Surb's tires and affiliates within the warranty. They were friendly, efficient and had my tires done quickly without waiting 2 hours or having a tire blow upon driving home. Will have my tires done here for my future vehicles. Thanks again

We were out of town driving on the interstate when our low tire light came on. A helpful local suggested Surbs tire! Luckily we were able to make it after airing up at a gas station!! The staff was very helpful and kind!! Quick service!! They were able to fix our tire and we were on our way!!! Very satisfied customer!!!!

Took truck in for 4 tires mount/balance and an alignment after completing some front end repairs and replacing tires. Surbs said truck needed $1400 in repairs to complete the alignment (both upper control arms, both lower ball joints, and the pitman arm) Truck is on a lift right now (double checking it before I made this post) and only needs a pitman arm which I was already aware of and more than willing to allow surbs to replace had they been honest on the rest of it. Guess the mechanic didn t see the brand new brakes, wheel bearing, and axle shaft I personally just replaced and inspected everything else while having it apart so it could be fixed if needed prior to sending it away for an alignment. Surbs was my go to tire shop, but just lost trust meaning my business too. Use at your own risk!Response: you are dishonest. You never once asked me to put the truck back on the lift and prove it, because I was on vacation over 250 miles away at the time. How about you come out to my lift and I can show you where and how you are wrong. Called in to pay the total for the tire mount and balance, which is when I was quoted by the lady on the phone for the front end repairs at my request, not yours. You claim there are multiple bad front end parts, I will agree the pitman arm is worn but the remaining parts are not, meaning you are dishonest in your work and trying to screw hard working individuals out of their money. I don t just replace parts for the hell of it. You saw a snow plow mount on the truck and assumed the worst. I really question if it was even checked other than visually which any competent mechanic knows there s more to checking front end parts than a visual inspection. You tried to pull a quick one off someone who is very mechanically inclined, and that backfired on you now so you resort to calling me a liar. Better get your facts straight, you have a know problem with that. You re not lining your pockets off me. Funny how the story changes once it s public. Don t do shotty business and you wouldn t have the bad review.Tip: it s not good business practice to call your customers a liar.

We came in late in the day during Strawberry Festival with a flat on our dually. All the tires we bad which I knew and hitting a pothole blew the 1. They had 6 light truck tires and had them mounted very quickly. We had a great experience and price was good.

Quick service said they wouldn't have time to look at my car until end of week got it done that same day. John is always great. Tiffany always handles my issues with prices and scheduling appointments.

In the last month, on 3 separate occasions, I took 3 different vehicles here for service. Each time I was disappointed by the communication of the staff. The customer service reps seemed to be inconvenienced by questions, and there was poor (or altogether a lack of) note taking about the concerns I had with each vehicle. When speaking with them, they came across defensive and even disrespectful. At the very least (giving them the benefit of a doubt), it seemed as if they had better things to do than give attention to customer concerns.On my last attempt at taking a vehicle for an appointment (that I scheduled a week in advance), when I arrived, the customer service rep found the note for my appointment (which only had one of my six concerns listed), and told me, "We'll see if we can get this in today," as if the appointment wasn't certain.

The staff is great! Front staff seem to enjoy their jobs 95% of time! Call when vehicle work is completed! A big plus! John is always willing to explain what is going on- in lay person terms!

Great first impression. I m somewhat new to the area and gave them a shot on a tire patch. It was a good way to check them out before relying on them for something bigger. Seems like a good shop, I d go back.

Had tire size I needed and was able to slide me in to get them on my car. Nice service at the desk. Did eyes on the stock to make sure. Very helpful.

I was in the car repair business for 40 years. After moving back to Crawfordsville, this is the only place I go for tires. They're friendly local folks and that's important to me. They've been in the business a long time, you don't do that in a small town if you're screwing people.A good value, price and excellent service. They'll tell you if somethings not right. Recommend them highly.

I would recommend surb tires to everyone. We were traveling from Northwest Indiana to TN when our brakes went out on the truck. We got it to their shop in Crawsfordville and they went above and beyond. The looked at the truck got us a room at the Holiday Inn with a great discount, drove us over there. They called us before closing the shop for the day to see if we needed anything else out of the truck. Came and picked us up the next day when the truck was ready. Great service.

They fixed my mother's car after she hit a curb and tore a few pieces up, but good!!!!We ended up turning it into insurance and by the time the work was done, they saved me some money so my total out of pocket with some extra work they did was about $200 on a $2200 bill. I was very happy with their work and they communicated well with us on the work. I am thinking of having them do some work on an old truck I got.

Prices of too high owner has a bad attitude
