Had a tricky alignment situation that was unsure if it could be adjusted properly or not do to my suspension style setup. They took on the job that morning and promptly had my vehicle done that day. Will return for more services.

Lanning had amazing service! They were able to get me in quickly. Parts had to be ordered and repairs were completed in 2 days. I appreciated the quick service because we all know how inconvenient it is to be without your vehicle. Will definitely be returning for any service I need on my vehicle in the future.

Has fixed my air-conditioning, replaced my transmission, and does my oil changes. Pricing is fair, even better than others on certain things. Completely satisfied, the only complaint that I can think of is, took a little longer on transmission, than I thought it should (I know nothing about working on vehicles), but, nobody is perfect, right? I will definitely continue with them for my automotive needs, and would certainly recommend.

They don't check equipment they rent to you. Just be aware. Lanning Automotive rented me a broken truck with gasoline leaking and other mechanical issues. Waiting for roadside assistance for 4.5 hours at a gas station at night. I could not complete my trip, came back on a Hertz rented car. Now trying to get refund from this business. I do not recommend Lanning Automotive. Poor quality, poor service.

Great experience! Lanning was able to work on BMW when so few places in Columbus can. They replaced all my brakes and rotors and had my car back to me the same day! Prices beat every one else in town that is willing to work on a BMW.Services: Brakes, Oil changeServices: Brakes, Oil change

I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received from Lanning's Auto but what was extremely impressive was the communication! They contacted me in every step of the process from beginning to end. My parts were ordered and installed in a timely manner both times. My family used another local business for years and they were great but were backed up. I chose Lanning's because of the reviews and the close proximity to our home. Edit: To the owner and Becky. Sorry but nice try on once again trying to deceive people and make them think your reviews are about another shop or that they are wrong. But no this is the correct location and Chris (the owner) and you Becky at the desk are nothing but thief's and scammers! Stop trying to hide it and own up already. I will not stop until everyone knows about this place and it's bad practices.Very bad service, and absolute liars. You can even see it from the guy below me, when clearly they do rent out Uhaul trucks. But yet here they are lying once again! Stop supporting these scammers who have no education! And save yourself the headache and money that you will cost yourself going here.

Lanning is a great place. I got an excellent price for 4 new tires and a Oil change and they did a great job. Also was very quick I didn't have to wait very long. We moved away from Columbus 4 years ago, and we just came back in town and started having car trouble, no doubt in my mind who I was going to call to get it repaired!! Chris has always treated us like family!! This place is the best automotive place around town! I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else!! I know on our 12 drive back home, that we are safe!

I love Lanning! I ve been taking my Kia there ever since I bought it and they have taken amazing care of it. I always refer people here. They are also great at checking in on you & how your vehicle is running between services. I had some damage to transmission wiring that was messing up sensors on my car and there was a very short wait before I could get a time to bring in it. They diagnosed the problem and repaired it the same day I brought it in. Looking up the average cost for repairing damaged wires on a transmission, I believe they charged me a very fair price. The two people that I interacted with were very nice and they even texted me a few days later to check if my car was doing ok.Services: Electrical repair, Transmission repair

We're from out of town and needed a power steering flush while in Columbus visiting family. Lanning took good care of us and worked us into their holiday schedule, no further issues on our return trip. Highly recommend.

The service was awesome. We developed alternator trouble outside of Indianapolis and ended up stopping in Columbus. After calling around, it was suggested we call Lanning Automotive and we were so glad we did. Their concern for our situation was genuine and they worked with us to resolve our problem. Even though it was on a Friday night and after regular business hours Becky and the technician stayed to get us back on the road. We were very thankful.Services: Electrical, Battery

They did a great job @ a great price on our old van and just did again with my son's Mustang. No attempts to upsell. Just diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote. I'm sure it was MUCH less $$$ than a dealership would have charged me. Plus, I always prefer to support a local business over a chain.

I was doing my own auto repair - drum brakes - and needed someone to refinish my drums so that I could reuse them. I called many shops in Columbus and Lanning seems to be the only place that still offers this service. It was $15 per drum. I dropped them off on my way to work and they had them done in time for me to pick them up on my way back home. Friendly service, a good price for the work I needed.

The folks at Lanning Automotive & Tire did a great job on my van. Got an oil change and tires rotated. I was in and out in just a short time! I highly recommend them to tend to your automotive needs! Great staff, too! Very courteous!!

Had a starter replaced and oil change at Lanning Automotive. I left my vehicle at the night drop outside and dropped the keys in the slot. They called me the next day with info on what needed repaired and a price. The vehicle was done the next day. Pricing was what I expected and Kevin was awesome as always. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Bring my car in for one thing to be fixed only to have multiple things broken. When you tell them about the issue the mechanics say "I thought it was already like that", like really? That's how you run your business. Very upset with the work done and only costed me more out of my pocket afterwards. Learn to own up to your mistakes and take responsibility when you can't do a job correctly!Service: Engine repair
