These guys are nothing but professional and give you that peace of mind that you want when you have a nice car that you take care of and baby it, they have the same mindset. I went to a certified dealer for my vehicle. They botched the oil change. They couldn't get my tires off. For a tire rotation. Then finally were able to. I will never go to a place that has lube techs, master techs etc ever again When you come to Eldon's, There is no multitudes of positions working on cars. They all are masters at their craft every one of them. Those are the type of people I trust with my vehicle Do you pay a little more than your random shops? Sure, but the peace of mind is well worth it.

I am very satisfied with the service I got from Eldon's Auto Repair. My 2016 VW GTI was experiencing a coolant leak and Eldon's was recommended to me as a local mechanic that I could have it looked at and potentially repaired. From the first phone call, I could tell they were honest, trustworthy, and were going to get the issue taken care of. I was provided with a clean loaner vehicle to use over the weekend while they were waiting on parts to arrive. In addition, they called me about some additional work my car needed (that I was already aware of) and got it all taken care of. THANK YOU!

They were nice on the phone. Called back with an accurate quote once they figured out what that grinding noise was!And even helped me put my bike in the car when I came to pick up. Nice clean shop with well mannered people.

The guy working the front, I didn't get his name, was very professional and friendly. Our car is running much smoother now at a fair price. Will be taking it here for any future repairs.

My son talked me into buying a 2008 mini cooper from Jeffrey s auto had it less than 3 weeks and stranded us. My son called you guys and although it took a bit to get it in I am honestly so incredibly grateful. I got the extended warranty and the warranty people approved to have a new engine put in it for just the cost of the deductible but these guys replaced so much stuff in the mini my son had 3 pages of stuff wrong with it. They took the time to fix everything and even spent extra time they really didn t have to fix so many other things. Got the car back today and runs like brand new my son is so happy thank you guys soooo much for all your hard work! I definitely be putting the word out about u guys

Honestly I heard good things but what I was disappointed in is when I got there and they just started to look at my old truck they pretty much made fun of my truck wouldn't even look at it after they opened a door on my vehicle that had a note in the door that said do not open and said if I was you id take it to a junkyard and look for something new when I'm trying to rebuild the truck with my grandpa before it's to late and can't make that memory but they didn't change me for it sitting in the parking lot thank God

I needed to find out what was going on with my transmission and was told it was making a whirring sound. I was quoted a rebuilt transmission for $3800 with no option to attempt to identify the problem and charged $215 for the evaluation. A week prior, my local auto care folks (Brown County Tire in Nashville, Indiana) did the exact same diagnostic examination at no cost. I was looking for a reputable business to address the issue as efficiently as possible and was advised by several people that Eldon s was highly regarded. It felt to me as though no attempt to find an efficient solution was made, and the decision was to be the worst case scenario. Disappointed, disillusioned, $215 for nothing I had already gotten for free from whom most folks refer to as shade tree mechanics but who ultimately know just as much, and maybe more, than more formally educated mechanics, I will not recommend Eldon s to the common man seeking the most efficient and economical solution to automotive issues. This all being said, the office staff was very polite and professional, and that means a great deal, despite my disappointment. Thank you for that. Blessings to Eldon s staff. I have called 4 different times talking to 3 different people inquiring to get my car brought in for a transmission. Each time im asked for my info and promised a call back and each time never recive a call back. I spoke to Stephanie yesterday told her this was my 4th attempt she promised to call back and never did.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Eldon s has been absolutely amazing to work with! I had been recommended by a friend and I can say that they did not disappoint! Some of the nicest people I have met at an establishment. They did everything on my car that needed serviced and then some! I have already started recommending friends to them based on this interaction and I m sure if my friends decide to give Eldon s a go, they will receive the excellent service that I did! Eldon's is a great place to take your vehicle. Everything was explained in detail to me, I felt no pressure or obligation to have extra services done. The staff are very professional and they did a great job taking care of my truck.

Every experience at Eldon s has always been a wonderful one. They are very professional. Thorough, informative, and very kind. I know every time I drop my vehicle off there it will be fixed. I have 2 Mercedes and a Jeep and there hasn t been a job yet they haven t been able to repair. I have referred this to all my family and friends and they have the same experience. My vehicle had coil spring issue which almost fell apart. They fixed the issue professionally and then found there was another issue with the wheel speed sensor and bearing tong ring. There was a miscommunication between technician and front desk that led me driving away my vehicle before that part got fixed. They apologized and gave me a good price to fix that issue. I am happy with the result and understood there could be always something unexpected during the fix procedure. They are very professional.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Vehicle Inspection

I trusted Eldon's with my 2020 BMW X-3. We developed a tire issue on 1 wheel of the vehicle and they worked with me to get the exact tires that I wanted for the vehicle from Tire Rack, mounted and balanced correctly, and then performed a 4-wheel alignment to make sure my issue was cured. Work was done well and the X-3 drives perfectly.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

First time to use these folks. Transmission was acting up in my 2017 Equinox. I feared the worst. Relatively minor repair when compared to what I thought it might be. They did what was needed. Communication was excellent all during the time they had the vehicle. I know where I will go when I need another repair.

All I can say is WOW! What a phenomenal experience we had at Eldon's. We were traveling and had a major brake issue, which had to be fixed. They were able to work us in and get us back on the road the same day. The work performance was excellent and the customer service was above and beyond. Not being from the area they gave us a loaner so we could get lunch and enjoy Columbus. I would highly recommend these folks.

Eldon has been in business for a long time and loves what he does. He's successful, and you don't get that way by being a bad mechanic. He provides jobs for others, too, and has a great staff. Everyone is polite and professional. He is involved in his business and cares about his customers. Everyone I have met has been great, and when Sabrina greets you at the front desk, it makes your day. The work they have done on my vehicles is good work, done efficiently, for a fair price. Took my car in for a possible warranty repair. After diagnosis, was told the warranty company was called by one service advisor and was given the total that I would have to cover. I approved and parts were ordered which would take a few days. Understandable, some things are still difficult to get quickly. Was called after a few days by a different service advisor because they were on vacation and was told they did not see where parts were ordered or any of the totals the first advisor told me and that they were now on vacation and cannot confirm. The second advisor had to call the warranty company again and then received a call with the new total that was now over double the price of the original price I was told I had to pay. Needless to say I did not go ahead with repairs got my vehicle back. Based on my experience, I could not determine the quality of the technicians here but if the advisors are anything to go by, I would steer clear.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I don t provide reviews unless my experience was unique in some way. I had picked up my daughter from the airport for a week visit. We had made a lot of plans for our limited time together. Finally on our way to have some fun & (unbeknown to us) my car was leaking out all of the oil onto the city streets. We were a mile from my house when engine light came on & said no engine oil. We immediately turned off car & stopped driving. We tried fixing the issue but the oil we added back poured right out. After calling several businesses in the area we couldn t locate anyone who worked on this type of car. Thank gosh we got ahold of Eldon s. Vehicle towed to Eldon s that morning. Oil issue fixed & I got 4 new tires! I can t say enough about how well myself & my daughter were treated. They bent over backwards to help us. We were provided a loaner car & went on about our lives, our plans & our time together. I feel so safe & confident driving now. This vehicle drives so smooth & performs better than it did when new. Communications with the shop were outstanding! They provided a thorough incoming inspection report with photos of any relevant conditions found, diagnosed the specific reason for which i brought them the vehicle and fixed it very quickly and at a reasonable price, and gave detailed recommendations for how severe any of the other findings were and how quickly they should be addressed. I received prompt notifications of the progress along the way both by phone call and text, everyone i interacted with was extremely nice and knowledge about our vehicle and the with being done, and they were extremely organized and quick from beginning to end. This is the only place I'll be taking my vehicles for service in the future!Service: Brakes

I ve been using Eldon s for years and as always the service is top notch. The diagnosis was quick and when they couldn t complete the repair before the weekend due to part availability, they provided me with a loaner. The repair was quick once the part arrived and I m happy with the results. I like their process of sharing every step of your vehicles diagnostic and repair process online. I used to do a lot of my own work on my vehicles so there aren t many places that I trust to work on my cars. I trust Eldon s!

I found them based on their online reviews and I was not disappointed. They were very friendly and thorough with their work. I appreciated the pictures they sent me showing the general condition of everything. They made quick work of what needed to be done (water pump, belt tensioner, and belt were the primary reason for the appointment). The truck is still running great and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody else for services. They also went above and beyond to help me get the truck taken care of when I was against a work travel deadline. Top notch staff and technicians! Eldon's was great. The service was the most professional that I have ever experienced in my life. They communicated throughout the whole process; this gave me a wonderful sense of trust and safety. It wasn't cheap, but I believe that you get what you pay for; and--despite being someone on a tight budget-- I have learned that a cheap job on your car will come back to bite you later.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of service, easy accessibility, timeliness of service, and professionalism of all staff members. The texting updates made doing business extremely easy. Loved that pictures were sent and a FULL inspection of my car was done. Price for services was excellent and when I picked up my car, it drove just like the day I purchased my vehicle. Eldons is great about giving your car a "check up" so you know what might really need repaired before something big happens but also what what might be coming up in the future. We have a kid in their 20's that drives a 12 year old car and Eldon's, particularly Sabrina and Michael, were soooo good about explaining what needed repaired and why. And they were also super helpful with advice on shopping for future cars. As a woman that doesn't know much about cars, I absolutely love Eldon's! What impressed me the most was that they were very upfront and honest. They do a thorough inspection of your vehicle and send you pictures of the repairs that need done, along with items that will need attention in the future. It almost felt like I took my car to the doctor. The tech's shared knowledge with me about my car and how to care for it. They explained to me how different systems work within the vehicle, and were willing to answer any questions I had. The staff is very friendly and professional.
