8 because nobody's perfect. I have no complaints.6 because the only time tires are going to come up in conversation is if someone asks me. If they do i will tell them where I got them.

They lied to me about my brakes, told me they needed done for 500$ i still had half the life on my pads 6 months later. Will not be returning for anything. dishonest and money grubbing, double check anything they tell you needs done

Convenient, on line appointments available. Courtesy call to confirm appointment was made next business day. I arrived a bit early for the service, and my vehicle was taken in right away, so I got out of the store earlier than anticipated. Type of service: Snow tires.

My right front tire was not able to be repaired at Walmart so I called Michel tire. They squeezed me in within 5 minutes. The guy checking me in was incredibly kind and they made this process less painful.I will definitely be coming back to replace my other tires!

I went there to get my tires aligned which was free since I got my tires there a little while ago which was fine but they offered to change my oil so I thought oh may as well I need to do it anyway. I come back and they tell me that only changing my oils was 101.75 dollars. Take your business elsewhere, don't waste your time or money on them.

I have been a customer for more than 20 yers. Never a problem. But this!!!! I called Monday for an appt for a vehicle inspection, and Terry and I decided on Wednesday o am. I dropped it off Tuesday evening and called Wednesday at 1155 to see about picking it up. Cody said they were doing other things.I stopped in an hour + later, and I didn't see it. I asked Cody if they had it in, and he said it is around back. I asked if they would get to it today, and he said yes. He also said, "When you drop it off, it gets fit in." I said I didn't know that, and I scheduled it with Terry. I went to my van to get my garage door opener, and THE VAN WAS UNLOCKED, AND THE KEYS WERE SITTING IN THE CENTER CONSOLE!!!!!I took the garage door opener and called customer service.I told them what happened and that I would review this, and if anything had happened to my van or my home, they would have been sued. I am waiting on a call in the next 2 days from the area manager to call.

They are empty, no customers and did not have time to change out tires. Extremely disappointing as I am traveling and needed this done.

These people are amazing. We had transmission problems on a Saturday at 12:30. We stopped in the shop, they ran diagnostics, and gave us an assessment as well as guidance on how to get home. They were all friendly and helpful! We highly recommend and would encourage others to use this shop.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I set up an appointment to get four new tires on my car after dropping off my vehicle it took them a 30 minutes extra to even pull my car back into the shop. Then about 15 minutes later I get a call in saying that I have a coolant leak on my vehicle so I recommend them just doing my tires and then I would get it further checked. After taking it to somebody else I am fax did not have a coolant leak at all there was no problems with my car. A little after within two days my car was acting a little funny. I do not recommend this placeWhen I gave them a call back to talk to them about the coolant leak and how upsetting it was he proceeded to tell me he never told me I had a coolant leak even though we had a 15 20 minute talk about what would happen if I did and how much the cost would be. I do not trust this business I feel like they are scam artists. You would have better luck taking your car somewhere else

My wife called on March 14th, 2023, told me she was leaving Kroger and saw that she had a flat tire. I'm 23 miles away and can't help, so she walked across the parking lot to Michel Tire and told an employee she was flat. One of the employees grabbed an air tank and carried it all the way to her car, filled the tire and she quickly got it over to Michel. They let her pull in and they determined the tire was beyond repair, put her stubby tire on so she could get home, and ordered a tire. It arrived the next day and she was on her way home in minutes with a new tire mounted. Very kind of them to help her in a bind, and very quickly got her a new tire. I will buy my truck tires from them. Hey, they help people in distress, why not give them an opportunity? There's a lot of tire companies out there, give your business to a company that cares for people.Service: Tires

I ve used this shop twice for tire instillation and alignments; no problems to report. Scheduling is easy and my vehicle was done on time. They also kept me informed of any changes, like when I needed a tie-rod in order for the alignment to be completed.

I had two disappointing experiences at the Columbia City location about a month apart. In March, I scheduled an appointment for a basic oil change, via the online process, for the following day. When I showed up, the associate was very nice but said they were short handed and running several hours behind. I couldn't wait around, so i said I would have to try a different day.Fast forward to April, almost a month later to the day, and I scheduled another online appointment for next day/afternoon. I actually got a confirmation email in the morning for my appointment that afternoon.But when I showed up, deja vu... different associate but said again they were several hours behind. He offered to book me for a week later, which I declined. He also said not to use the online appointment scheduling because it doesn't reflect whether you can actually get service. ?!?I ended up driving 20 minutes to Fort Wayne Hires Automotive, where I got in immediately, no appointment, and was done in 30 minutes or less, for the same price I would have spent for the oil change.The ironic thing is, I had service at the FW Michel tires about a year before that had been very good. Having recently moved to a smaller town, I wanted to support the local businesses but they made it impossible to do.I understand everyone has staff shortages, but if the online appointments really can't be honored, why not remove that option from your website? I suspect these are franchised locations but there definitely needs to be some option to disable a function that ultimately disappoints customers.I want to point out that both of the Michel's associates were polite and apologized, but sadly, still forced me to take my business elsewhere. And unbeknownst to Michel's, I was in the market to also buy 4 tires at the time of my March (attempted) appointment, but since I couldn't even get the oil change done, I found another auto place to spend the $600+ for tires.Sorry, Michel's, I tried to support you and small town business but you wouldn't let me.

Great people but don t plan anything if your getting work done. I will be finding a new place to get oil changed.. appointment was at 4 and at 440 my car finally gets pulled in. No wonder they took down the sign about quick oil changes.Just bought tires and oil change 8/28/20 I had a 9am appointment and when I drove by at 1:30 pm it was just going in to get tires put on and the oil changed. So I went home to drop off things. Came back after 3pm car was done yet. Left without alignment being done. Only reason I go back is because terry the store manager is a nice and honest guy. I will never do a drop off I will sit and wait so they have to get it done. Don t like wasting my whole day off waiting.

Made appointment to after hitting a pothole and denting my rim. I ordered a rim from tire rack and shipped it to the store to put on my car. After waiting a bit, the manager called me back to inform me I bought the wrong size. After showing them I did buy the correct size, they told me to contact tire rack to clear up what happened. I left the shop, since nothing could be done at the time and headed home to call tire rack. The lady informed me that they double box the rim and that the size displayed on the outer box, was not necessarily the size of the rim. I thought maybe they would know that since they order their rims from tire rack. After discussing the issue with the manager, he told me he would call me back when they find out what was going on. An hour later, he called back to tell me that indeed, it was the correct size. After trying to upsale me on a tire, because mine was beyond repair I told them I would just get the rim and go elsewhere. They couldn t even tell the difference between a 17 or 18 inch rim, at a place that specializes in tires.Service: Tires

Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. They keep the place clean and the waiting room is quite comfortable. I have all of my standard automotive maintenance done here because the prices are reasonable and I feel confident that all their work is backed up by their service warranty. Pro-tip: always get the lifetime alignment. If you are planning on keeping a car for a few years, you will definitely save money.

Great customer service. Their best service, in my opinion, is that they offer a lifetime alignment. If you plan on owning your car for awhile I wholeheartedly recommend buying this. Hit a pothole, this is Indiana, get it realigned. Replace a ball joint or tie rod, get it realigned. It's a few dollars more but it will save you in the long run.

I have been going to Michel Tires Plus for a while now. Saturday I had a very negative experience. I went in for an oil change, tire rotation and to find out why there was a noise when it is cold outside. I had zero issues with my brakes. They called me to let me know that one of of calipers was seized on and the other you could put a pen through. When my husband started to drive it he said that the brakes were very squishy. They had not been like that when I went there. We took it to my brother in laws and he said that the calipers were not like they said they were and the brake lines had been loosened! Do NOT go to Michel Tire they will mess your car up just to try and get you to spend more money with them.Service: Oil change

Only do tires here. And if you run aluminum rims be sure to ask for torque on lugs to be correct. Tried several times and someone always just zips them on way to tight even road side assistance can't get them off without stripping the lugs or thread.

I was loyal on using Michel Tires Plus, honestly have spent 1000,s of dollars from, oil change to new tires etc. After the skinny red headed service writer lied to us and treated me very poorly. I will never do business at their business again. There are options in Fort Wayne. This review should of been done about 2 years ago.

I do not recommend this location. I can't speak for the others but I feel like I have given them several chances too many to go above and beyond to lock me in as a repeat customer and I am treated as if I am completely ignorant. Furthermore, services are always performed on my vehicle without my consent, and this location is the slowest. Over an hour for a 15 minute or less oil change and that is because they rarely carry what your vehicle would need.

I called around for the best price and Michel Tires in Columbia City beat Discount tire in Ft Wayne. I showed up for my 5pm appointment and I was told that the AT tires I was quoted were not in stock even though when I made the appt they said they were in stock. I was then offered an off brand tire for the same price. I record all my phone calls and offered for the manager to listen to the call when all of this was originally discussed and he said it was not necessary. Since my job requires me to travel I don't have the luxury of coming back so off brand it was. Just not satisfied on the price and how it was handled.

lopped a tire and went in to get some new ones. was asking for all season then he said he had tires in stock next day I looked them up and they turned out to be summer tires. did the review in my email and they didn't hesitate to offer me a swap put for some all season tires. edit: Have been waiting a week for my replacements. apparently somehow one tire hasn't came yet although they shipped at the same time and won't be here for another two days. James is very professional if you do go there but as for me I'm staying away

Walk in to get my car serviced and new tires. They were friendly, efficient and timely. Liked them so much my husband got tires there and scheduled some other maintenance needs for my car.
