I was in a car accident on January 21. I was rear ended and totaled my car so Saturday we went into Bart. This was two weeks after my wreck to check out a Ford edge that my husband had seen we worked with Tyler and he was very helpful and very kind and understanding he was not pushy And the manager worked with us to give us a better deal on the vehicle. We are very happy so far with our purchase and would recommend asking for Tyler if you go to Barts There s a picture of my new ride below

Needed a car ASAP, already had my approval, called up to ask if I could test drive the car that I ended up buying A 2020 Nissan Kicks SV. When I arrived Tyler Coyle had the car already to go, he answered any questions I asked, and if he didn't know he found out for me So decided to buy car, so then that is when Josh Stephenson stepped in to crunch the numbers, gave me options for how I wanted my payments to go and the choice of different insurances. When it came time to sign the final paperwork Robert Abrams stepped in and answered all my questions and explained all the zillion of pages you have to sign. All three guys worked as a team and helped me in any way that I asked. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Even when I left and had an issue with a low tire from day 1, they told me to bring by and they would check it out at the service department. Guess it needed a new tire, so service department order me a new one and checked on a sensor for me, no charge, no questions asked. Didn't catch the service guy's name but there are only two, and both were very helpful and friendly. Had my car a week now and I love it. I WOULD recommend Bart's Car Store in Columbia City, Indiana to anyone looking for an amazing vechile, family oriented store, and great customer service. Sincerely Brandy Holle Thank you all so much!!!!!

I recently just bought a new vehicle from Barts in Columbia City and their staff is Awesome!! I worked with salesman Tyler Coyle and he was such a nice guy, honest about everything I asked and had the patience to sit there with me almost an entire Friday to work through the bumps in the road so I could drive home in my new Silverado that day. He listened to what I wanted and wasn't pushy and made this purchase easy and affordable for me. I couldn't ask for better people to sell cars, genuine people. Thank you so much again Tyler!! I love my truck. You Rock!! :)

I am very displeased with this company. My son bought a jeep and when he left the dealership it was not running properly. He went right back and they worked on it and it ran good. A week or so later a sensor went out and he had to spend 250.00 on it. Then last week he was driving in town and the ball joint broke and now he s has to spend 1300.00 on repairing it. They will not help him with that. So now he has to come up with 1300.00 dollars. He needed a reliable vehicle but has had nothing but trouble!! Thankfully he was in town when it broke down again. If he was out on the road he could have wrecked. No one in our family will ever buy a vehicle there again. I do not recommend them.

Josh is not a man of his word...signed a sales sheet stating price I was going to buy a vehicle for, which was going to be cash. I went to test drive vehicle and they did not even have a key for the vehicle cause was lost, told me they would call me when they had the key made, which they never did, I had to call and ask, sold the vehicle from under me....that tells me a lot about the business.

From start to finish the guys at Barts in Columbia city were Great. They worked with me in finding My perfect truck, and when I did they had the latest history on it so that I was able to make an informed decision. They gave me fair trade in on my old 95 GMC jimmy, which was more ready for the junkyard then anything, but it was like they said everything has worth. That is what Im talking about they treat their customers the same way, that everyone has worth .If your in the market for a new Car or Truck hurry on down to Barts they will take good care of you.

Bart's Car Store is by far the best around. Ryan Brandt went above and beyond to ensure my car buying experience was great. I received great customer service from Josh (manager) and Ryan (salesman). I would buy from Bart's Car Store again.

Awful, tried to sell a 2007 Dodge Ram Laramie off the website by hiding its flaws. As I was ready to drive out to take a look at it they mentioned the 7 inch display was seized up and not working. I asked if they have had the vehicle inspected, they said yes and it was in great working order but some minor cosmetic issues (rust on rear wheel wells) no problem. I get there and he has it idling waiting for me to get in. Exhaust fumes are billowing out oddly, I take a peak down, the entire back half of the exhaust is missing. Pictures below. Took a test drive, 4x4 was shakey, gas meter is broken, engine light on, paint flaking, chrome on tire flaking, power locks dont work. Did I mention the exhaust was missing? I confronted Brandon after the drive and said how if the vehicle was inspected did they miss the fact there is no muffler. He beat around the bush, not answering the question and giving me the run around on price. It was pathetic. They lied to me on the phone, website is deceiving, kinda shady all around. My cousin bought a lemon from here and warned me, I should have listened. Stay away!

I bought my first truck from Ryan Brandt. He made the process very easy and got me into the truck that I wanted. I highly recommend going to him if you're searching for a used vehicle.

A family member got screwed by this place. He drove from Michigan to purchase a car. Brought in a big cash down payment because the Salesman insisted. He followed all the steps of purchasing a car after taking ownership of the car 3 weeks later hes informed that the bank didn't approve him for a loan and he needs to return the car. They later reported to police that the car was stolen resulting in a arrest of my cousin and his wife, and now they won't return the down payment.

They scam people. I looked a 06 Nissan. 244,000 on it. With a im not joking a 2 inch deep hole in the driver seat, foam was missing. And they still wanted 4K for it. Plus there are zero pictures online.

Must read! We recently traded our truck in for a Jeep on their lot. It was an agreement when we signed for the Jeep that it was to be fully serviced, the check engine light would be investigated and to fix odd and ends. When the Jeep was fully serviced it was mentioned to us the check engine light was a cam shaft sensor. The Jeep was given to us and we were told it would be okay to drive until the part came in. We drove a quarter of a tank and the light came back on along with the Jeep going into limp mode. My husband and I took the Jeep to the auto parts store and it was the catalytic converter. Barts requested us to help pay for the part when we took the paperwork from the auto parts store. As the Jeep was stuck in limp mode they sent it to Glenbrook dodge. After multiple days of not being updated we called Glenbrook Dodge and it was disclosed to us that it had extremely low oil pressure, bad timing chain and the engine needed to be replaced. If it wasn t for us having warranty we would ve had to pay out of our pockets for what they covered up. The dealership refused to let us back out of the deal and refused to buy the Jeep back. Bottom line I m sure they re are many vehicles on their lot serviced but need a new engine or something major so I highly recommend DO NOT buy from this dealership. The manager even told us his boss wouldn t speak with us either!

My husband and I went to Barts Car store in Columbia City to support the local business instead of going to one of the bigger dealerships. That was my first mistake. Andrew Dickel was our salesman and took care of us very well, so this review in no way reflects on his character. However, our customer service from all other aspects were as bad as they could be. When we were looking at trucks on their car lot, we were shown a recent truck that had just been brought it and still needed detailed/general maintenance. We saw that truck, took it on a test drive and decided we wanted to buy it, with the exception of the items that needed fixed. Those items were listed by Andrew, but apparently the official signed document didn t state any of the issues that needed to be fixed. That was my second mistake. Considering this was my first truck purchase without my dad (who knew better and knows the ways of car sales). However, I figured, since we had discussed what needed to be fixed on the truck for us to buy it, it would get fixed. We proceeded to sign papers and buy the truck trusting Bart s would fix everything we listed. We took that truck in THREE SEPARATE TIMES and still the issue was not fixed. One of those times they stated the issue was resolved, we had to jumpstart the truck because it didn t even start. After their shop was unable to resolve the issue, we took it to our local repair shop where they quickly determined what the issue was, but we had to pay out of pocket because it wasn t repaired at Barts, and because the agreement we had for Barts to fix it, wasn t listed on the official documents only on a separate piece of paper. Stay far away from Barts car store because they will take advantage of your ignorance. They re only in it for the profit and couldn t care less for their customers.

First and foremost, I only gave them one star as a rating because I had too put up my review. They lied to me about the car I bought they charged me for a warranty I didn't want or ask for,as they sold me the car as is but I got the paperwork to prove it I'm suing them for mental anguish and suffering. Never buy anything from these liars save yourself your time and hard earned money they are sum bamboozler's !!!!! Sincerely Mr.Willis

I don't normally write reviews of businesses, and I don't want to be writing this one, but I guess I have to. I bought a car from Bart's Car Store on 1/21/2023 and did not realize until a week later that the final sale price of the vehicle was changed during the buying process without me noticing. The website price, which I discussed with Brandon was $20,999 and was definitely entered on the paperwork shown to me at his desk. At some point that morning, the price had changed to $22,999 on the final contract. I did not notice this, and signed the paperwork at the finance person's desk. I admit it is my responsibility to read the contract I signed, but I did not expect the numbers to be changed from one desk to another. I found out when I signed in to the online account for the loan company and saw the amount financed was $2k higher than I expected.Attempts to contact Brandon have not been successful. Emails and phone calls have gone unreturned. Evidently they are unconcerned with fixing their "mistake". I don't expect a resolution, and have no proof (should have screenshotted the website listing), and will probably have to accept it as an expensive lesson. But maybe by writing this review someone else can be saved from receiving the same treatment. Buyer beware.

Ryan Brandt was a very no BS kind of salesman. He was patient and walked around the lot with me until I found what is now my favorite truck I ve owned.I ve had quite a few vehicles in my life. If you want an honest person that won t lie to you about what you re getting, go see him. You won t be disappointed.

Bought a car from Barts in columbia city, IN. Have had nothing but trouble with it since we got it. Barts only option they offer is to get me into a new car with double my monthly payments. When I told then about the issue and it going to the shop a couple times they told me my mechanic is not fixing it right try taking it to a bigger mechanic. I know they are not responsible once I've purchased the vehicle but I've had company take a look at vehicles and try to fix them. Will not buy another car from here. My father has also had a lot of issue with hospital car from the same dealership.

I had my truck appraised for a trade. I found a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. The difference between my trade and the SUV I was looking at was more than I wanted to spend. No problem. That happens. I browsed their website and found another truck in the right price range. I had already looked at it earlier in the day and knew it was in good physical condition. I called in and told them that I wanted to make a deal on the truck. They pulled up my trade and the truck I was looking at, threw me some numbers and I agreed to the deal. The guy said that the keys to my new truck were missing. They would get a new key made and call me when it was ready. I could head down, hand over my keys, title and cash and be on my way. Several hours later, he called and told me that they decided that they over valued my trade and would be offering me $6,000 less for it than the original offer. So if I wanted the truck I would need to bring an additional $6,000 to make the deal. Keep in mind that they had no access to my trucks in the interim, so it isn't like they suddenly discovered some issue that they didn't already know about Basically, they found out that I was in a bind needing to get a truck for hauling and thought they could rob me for extra money. Absolutely an unbelievable joke. I will be utilizing a huge amount of time making sure the world knows what scumbags the people at Bart's are. Whether it's violating the verbal contract, going back on their word or just being generally dishonest, this store should never be patronized by anyone, ever, under any circumstance.

I couldn't ask for a better experience with these guys. The communication from Zach leading up to the appointment was great-- not pushy at all, super professional, and instantly made me feel at ease. The buying process itself was just as great. Took the car for a test drive and immediately noticed that it was immaculately detailed. Everything they said online about the car was 100% true...I knew about two miles down the road that I was going to buy it. Just had to drive it for a few more minutes so I could finish out a song on the radio. :)They talked me through next steps, gave me my different options, and worked past the closing time to make sure I got a great interest rate with a local credit union (which took 25 minutes-- yes, only 25 minutes) and had all the information I needed to drive home with my absolutely beautiful new-to-me car. I worked with Chris on the final details of the loan and he took a few extra minutes (again-- past their closing time) to answer the questions I had about everything.Lastly, and I know I'm getting into the details here, but their coffee was so good. Not sure if they're buying that high end top shelf imported stuff or what, but between the customer service, the beautiful car, and that borderline addictive coffee, I will never buy another car from anywhere else.

I can't say enough about what a great experience it was to deal with Bart's Car Store in Columbia City. My salesman was Ryan. He treated me right from start to finish, handling every detail and making sure I was completely satisfied. I'm very happy with the Chevy Silverado Hybrid. Very nice truck and it's actually more truck than I expected to buy. The business and Title experts were fast and did not keep me waiting. Thank you Ryan and the entire team at Bart's Car Store.

I have spent over 50k dollars at this dealership over the last few years. It was always the typical car buying experience. My SUV was totalled a few days ago, so naturally I return to Barts to look for another vehicle. I pull into the lot and see a few large SUV'S that I was interested in. I let the salesman know what 3 I wanted to look at and test drive. We took the first one out and less than a mile into the test drive lights came on for down hill assist, service break system, and one other one. So we turned around and let him know what happened. He then tells us that if we are "not in a position to buy" we can't test drive the other vehicles I was interested in because they were all at or more than 30k. I am absolutely in a position to buy and was extremely disappointed in the quality of service I received today. The salesman told me his manager told him he had to tell us that. I just can't believe how rude I was treated today. Especially being that we have bought several vehicles from them in the past. Customer loyalty apparently means nothing to them anymore. I guess I will take my business elsewhere.

Great buying experience!! I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle to contact Ryan Brandt! We showed up late on a friday right before closing. Having driven an hour to look at a truck, we decided it wasn't quite what we wanted. Ryan took his time (even though they were closed) and showed us several other vehicles. Once we were set on what we wanted. He let us take it home for the night to make sure it was what we wanted. Was no pressure from him to buy. Overall it was a great experience.

I had to buy a new(used) vehicle because of someone else's lack of driving skills. So after a week and a half of rather intenst research, I found my replacement SUV. This beauty was very well maintained and in great shape. Thanks to Ryan and the rest, I have zero regrets of purchasing this vehicle from Bart's Car Store in Columbia City. And would happily do it again if the need arose.

With a welcoming staff, and a great car selection, what s not to love? Salesman Zach Schierer is one that really stood out. He was patient and took his time not steering me to the most expensive car, but to the car that was right for me. Not to mention they helped me get affordable financing with a mediocre credit score. Fantastic people, at a fantastic dealership. Highly recommend.
