I had a rear side window replaced. To do it they had to take the plastic trim down around the window. The just ripped 1 piece off and broke the plastic around the screws not repairable. I will have to buy a new trim piece. They cracked 2 other trim pieces. They should know how to do their job. If they don't, they should tell you upfront that they aren't capable. I will never take a car back there. I will have to check to make sure it doesn't leak. It looks ok on the outside.Service: Auto side window replacement

While passing through Louisville on I-65, a piece of trash flew out of a roll-off dumpster truck, obliterated our windshield and damaged our vehicle and the trailer we were towing. We had a lot of driving to do yet that evening.David and Danielle were extremely professional and courteous as well as understanding. They had a new windshield installed and we were back on the road within a couple of hours. They both (as well as their installer) went above and beyond to be certain that we were very well taken care of.I would not hesitate to refer anyone, friends and family included, to this business. I had a windshield replaced here on a 2023 Freightliner Cascadia. My company set up the appointment, I arrived about half an hour early. They were able to get to me by my scheduled time. The overall job took roughly half an hour for them to replace the entire windshield. The main person there (unfortunately I cannot remember his name) was very helpful in explaining how these work (since a semi truck is way different than a car), and gave me some tape to reglue my cameras and such. They did a good job with no issues so far. The workers did not make a huge mess while inside my truck doing the work either. Highly recommend.

American mobile glass fixed the passenger side glass in my 93 Landcruiser when several other glass shops in town wouldn t touch it. They were fast, friendly, fair on price, and most importantly got the job done right.

I contacted them to replace my rear truck window just before 5pm on a Monday. I was unable to make it out to them tuesday because of the ice; however they came all the way out to me by Wednesday. They were very accommodating and did great work. Their price was much lower than safelite too. Friendly, fast service and great work at a reasonable price! Someone had busted out our camper van window just a few days before we were scheduled to leave on vacation. Other glass shops we called either couldn t get us in or didn t have the glass on hand (or both). American Mobile came to the rescue and saved our vacation! We had a leak around the back window seal of my truck. (These guys were referred by a collision company.) From the beginning to the end, the customer service was On-Point!! The most cost efficient place l have found. They beat 12 other companies out by far and did an amazing job if i could a add a picture i would. These guys are great don t even second guess make sure you call and get the word done here. Did even take 2 hours to replace my windshield. So far a horrible experience. I would give 0 stars if I could. They came and replaced my windshield 2 days ago. When I got into my car that afternoon, I noticed they had left several scratches on my dashboard during the install and the windshield also had an alarming gap on one side. Clearly not an acceptable job. I called and was told the manager would call me back. He still hasn't. Yesterday after work (it rained most of the day yesterday), I got into my car and immediately noticed the windshield was leaking heavily. The leak is so prominent that my floorboard was soaked as well at the fabric at the top of my door. The water was dripping down. I am alarmed as to where the rain could have seeped into (electronics, etc). Called AGAIN and again was told the manager would call. THEY STILL HAVE NOT CALLED ME BACK. My husband called about an hour ago to give them the benefit of the doubt but again he was told we would get a call back. 3 calls and no real response. If they call and make it right, I will amend this review. If not, guess my next call will need to be to my layer to file a claim for negligent property damage.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I called and was able to get an appointment the very next day. Our driver had a hiccup in his schedule and was going to be 90 minutes late for the appointment. They were still able to get us in even though we were running so behind. The price was fair and the customer service was great. I am very happy with this company.

Got my windshield replaced here Friday. Thursday evening we had a no fault of our own mishap and our insurance would not cover it. We called all over and because it was New Year's weekend everyone could not come out until Monday or Wednesday. New Year was Tuesday. My husband would have missed two days of work. We called American Mobile Glass. Susan gave us a great price and had someone out there that Friday afternoon. Their customer service, pricing, helpfulness and work is on point. Excellent place. Notnonoy did he fix our windshield he vacuumed out all the shards of glass that were inside the car from the smashing of the windshield. I fully recommend this place.*If it rains and you don't have a carport or garage you will have to go to thier shop or wait though. Nobody can fix a windshield in a storm. Plus your car would be all wet inside.

Just got my windshield replaced here. These guys are friendly and have good service. They were the only ones in Louisville and Lexington who were able to get me in today on short notice. They were also cheaper then the other places i got prices from. So if you need a window and ur heading thru Louisville or in Louisville give them a call for sure.

Very unacceptable and unproffesional. Ordered a glass repair on my 18 wheeler thursday morning to be installed monday morning. Called and asked to find out a eta on tech could not give, lady that answered the phone was very rude. Told me we dont give appointments and it takes hours to install. I told her safelite did mine 2 yrs ago and we took visor down and and reinstalled everything in 45 minutes. She said well i can help you even though i ordered in thirsday morning. And said sorry cant help you and hung up the phone. This is not the first time i have heard fellow owner operators have multiple problems with thier service and professionalism. I wouldn't give them a star at all considering rude, unprofessional as well care of thier knowledge of tech performance and where abouts.

We scheduled American Mobile Glass two different times and they didn t show up, or call, either time! The owner, Shane, told me his installer was on the way the second time, so we rushed home to pay the man, and were stuck there all day waiting for him to show.Extremely inconsiderate of a person s time.

Totally unprofessional! How can this company still doing business?? Had an appointment called by 10 am to check when they will show up. They said their technician was working on a car and I'm next. Called back by 1 pm still working. 5 pm no one answers. What a jerks lost a whole day with 18 wheeler sitting for these camlotte

The installer locked my keys up in the car and told me it was my fault because he forgot he put keys in the middle. So not only did I have a 450. Bill to pay him but 125. To lock Smith. Used this company alot for our buisness but after that never. His attitude sucked. I was shocked he acted like it was me. Yall should drug test your employees

I procrastinated getting some glass sheves cut for a couple of curio cabinets I bought on FB yard sale site. all of the sudden w family coming to visit for Derby I was anxious to get the cabinets done and put all my Disney on display before they came (we just bought a house)... I must of called anywhere from 3 to 7 shops with no luck... But Shane sure did step up and help me out. And, he got them done in less than 24 hours... cant say how much I appreciate them helping me out. You guys rock. Great communication too!

Shane from American Mobile Glass is a class act. Called Saturday with questions about my windshield and he was immediately so helpful and informative. I had more questions at 10pm at night and Shane was quick to answer and offer advice. That s how you do it. Call this guy!
