I recently purchased a 2012 truck that was in pretty good shape. I took it into Mel s to get detailed. It was a great decision! The entire truck, including the engine look brand new. I will definitely go back if needed.

They did a fantastic job on our minivan! We brought it in for an interior detailing. It was extra sandy after a visit to the beach and they made it look brand new. We will definitely be using their services again.

Although the detailing was thorough, the communication was unprofessional. I was stood up when I came to pick up my car and had to rearrange my plans. Although I was given a discount, they need to have a backup plan when the owner gets sick, because I was without my car for an extra day and a half.Service: Auto detailingService: Auto detailing

The total detail was purchased on a 2004 Buick Century but there was an up charge of $50.00 for all the stains on the carpet and seats. This car was used for a work car and it was dirty. Lots of asphalt stains which are hard to get out and they done a great job on all of the stains. I didn't think they would come out but they did very happy with the outcome of the interior. Great job on the hard work they did on the inside. The wash and wax job was good and trunk came pretty clean. It was a lot of money for an older car but it needed it bad. Engine was steamed cleaned and a very good improvement. The windows were pretty good but did have some spots on the windshield around the edges that were not cleaned. All and all a good job was done. Would I come back?Yes

The people at Mel's did a fantastic job. They brought the interior of my car back to life in a way I didn't think was possible. Very professional and courteous. Mel's did a wonderful job on my Ford Escape. It was more than I paid last time. The lady who took care of me was very nice. Someone will drop you off if you need a ride somewhere in Chesterton because a full detail takes the entire day. They also offered to drop my vehicle off at my house when it was done if I did not have a ride.

A watermelon exploded in my car and was sitting in the hot sun while I was out of town. Mel's made the appointment right away and did a phenomenal job. I couldn't ask for a better service and a great smelling car. Highly recommend anyone who needs a nice new car feel to definitely come here. Super helpful and everyone was extremely friendly!

Mels Detail shop did an outstanding job cleaning the interior of my work truck. Typical work truck (very dirty) came out looking like new. It will most definitely help with the resale value when I go to sell it soon. My truck had some stains on the headliner and the seats. Looks awesome now and smells like a new vehicle again. The staff got the interior done in 1.5 hours, from top to bottom. My wife was very impressed with the work that Brad (the owner) and his crew did. I will definitely be coming back in the future. Great job Mels Detail!

Took my 2018 Edge to Mel's Detail for lime removal (I work in a steel mill), polish & wax. Not only did they do an impeccable job on the exterior & interior, but Brad also went out of his way to pick up my vehicle at the mill and deliver it to me at work as soon as it was done. Who does that?!!! Brad does, that's who! Brad & company, THANK YOU again! I'm impressed and will definitely be back!

I brought my minivan into their shop for a detail and they did a outstanding job! My van was embarrassingly filthy (a mom with 3 little kids, need I say more?) and they made it look like brand new from top to bottom and everywhere inbetween. Will definitely visit again!

They did a good job on the detailing. But when they called me to pick up my car they only gave me about 20 mins to get there bc they were done for the day (3pm), now mind you I have to get a ride to get there bc obviously they have my car!! They charged me double the price that they quoted. When I asked the girl she said it was very bad so that's why it is so much. I said double, it was only an inside detailing? So she called someone and asked if it was approved by the owner and they said yes. I was talking with my husband the whole time who set up the appointment. They also forgot the center console which I immediately asked for. On the way home I noticed my rugs were not in the car. My husband contacted the owner and he gave us a little run around and then blamed the front staff bc they charged us for both inside and outside detailing. Which I asked that when picking up the car. So the next day I went to get my rugs and half my money back. If we wouldn't have fought this they would have never done anything about it! I would never recommend this business!

They did an great job with the detailing of my car. Also, I had a couple of spots of missing paint and they took the time to carefully fill them. Unless you know where to look and are very close, you can't tell that my car had a spot job.

Highly recommend they did a great job on my Lincoln I left the sunroof open and had water line in my headliner and he got me in same day and did an amazing job and saved my headliner amazing job well worth the money great people to do business with.
