Highly recommend Joe for your services! He is very nice and helpful. Both of the other staff members in there were pleasant as well. I had great service this time I went. Joe went above and beyond to help me with my services that needed to be done. This was my best experience here by far.

They lied to me. When they asked me what oil I wanted, I told them to use whatever the manufacturer recommends. They said that 0-20 synthetic blend is recommended. That s a lie. The manual says 5-20 conventional. So they up-charged me for synthetic. They were prompt and seemed professional. But I won t be going back. Paid $80+ for a simple oil change. They said that they vacuumed out the interior floors. They didn t.Note: today I received an email and a phone call from Jiffy Lube. They took full responsibility for their oversight, and offered to reimburse me the difference between the synthetic and conventional oil. I am quite satisfied with how this was handled.

These men are fantastic! I came in as most the staff had just went home. There were two lovely gentleman who promptly and professionally were getting us taken care of. They were extremely knowledgeable and kind. They did not try to upsell unnecessary things, and even took the time to check my brakes as we are getting ready for spring break trip. Highly recommend this location. A+ service every time. Last night was over the top though! Kudos to the two men who stayed to work late on 3/21/2024 after 5p. They need a raise!!!

Very good service! They replaced my oil pan plug free of charge after they noticed that it had taken some of the threads due to being overtightened, and warned me about needing a new oil pan eventually. When the coupon for the oil change I had didn't work, he searched for a matching coupon so I could still have a discount. I highly recommend this place, they are friendly, professional, and honest!

Great service. There was no wait to get in and they had me on my way in under 20 min. Every one of them were very friendly and polite. I would like to say that overall Jiffy Lube in Chesterton is fair and don't try to sell you things that you don't need. My most recent experience wasn't the best. On Thursday of last week I called to bring my car in to get a tune up on Saturday. I was told no appt necessary. At that time my check engine light was not on, but had sluggish/vibration acceleration and fine when coasting. I have 125,000 miles on my car, so wanted to start there. Come Saturday, the engine light was now on. Tom the manager told me he didn't want to do it because I would be mad at him if he changed the spark plugs and it wasn't that. I verified that I would not be mad at him because I needed a tune up anyway. He sent me away while talking down to me like I was an idiot. It had a misfire specific to cylinder 2.I got my tune-up elsewhere. Now I am getting my brakes done at the new place too. A little more expensive, but treated me respectful. Car running great too!Apparently Tom thinks females know nothing. I just read Katelyn review and so I am editing.

They are always very friendly and quick at the Chesterton location! Maybe a little pricey ($110 for under 5 qts of synthetic) but it does last me about 8k miles so it s not bad.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

These guys are extremely friendly, accommodating, and can do many things other shops do but for less money. And you don t have to make an appointment. They don t make you feel like they re trying to add extra services that are unnecessary just to up charge. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I received an oil change and have to take my car back. First time they put too much oil, when I brought it back to them, they still didn't have the right amount so I took it to the Valpo location. Unfortunately my wife brought my car back here a second time and they didn't put my underbody panel back on completely which cause all kinds of noise in my ride. Find out the panel was also full of oil and leaked on my driveway. Now for some reason, my car sounds like a motorcycle for 15 seconds after I cut the ignition. We told them we were bringing the car in after I got off work yesterday and when I arrived, they were closed.

Well I give my honest opinion whether it s food business or a shop and I really think all shops should allow you in the vehicle for just an oil change at the very least I couldn t get out can t walk so we were aloud in I mean my car has a camera but my butt can t get out of the car so he gave up eventually and let us stay in but not without driving it a few inches inside first lol, another thing I didn t see the oil put in and they didn t come to the window at all to show the stick was clean with fresh oil a big time oil shop was also cheaper than going here that was surprising to see they were twice the amount here and he told me one price and afterwards it was 11 or more dollars over the amount of what he said flat is was going to be so I feel a little taken advantage of but it was a one time pass through to this place basically a emergency oil change for me. Oil express in Michigan was very cheap even for the blend even the v was cheaper at the least let the customer have the choice to stay in the vehicle for just a oil change if it s not lifter because if I wasn t like I am he would of buoyed me out my own car you guys can get these things done you ll be alright .

The staff was really nice and explained everything well. The oil change took about 20 minutes. They also cleaned my windows making the ride home better. I would recommend trying this location for your next oil change.

The guys are helpful & patiently answered my questions. I have a 2024 Kia, and it was my first oil change.I highly recommend, but you re going to need to wait a bit if they are busy.I waited about 35 minutes. Im willing to wait because they are very thorough. Kept me updated the whole time. The price is comparable, but much less than at the dealership. Maybe call ahead to see how many people are waiting if you re restricted on time.

Absolutely awful. Don't go to this location. Especially if you use a Groupon. It included an oil change and tire rotation. Before I was even out of my vehicle they told me a tire rotation is pointless... when I actually got inside, I was there for less than 5 minutes. The employee then argued with me over what oil I needed. I called the last Jiffy Lube I was at(they are/were amazing!) And confirmed that I was correct. He then argued more... so I asked for my vehicle back. They had already drained the oil, so filled it back up with I hope the correct oil, gave me a sticker saying I had had an oil change but suggested I take it to another Jiffy Lube ASAP, just to be safe... hope my engine doesn't seize... it is 2023, why do men still think women know nothing about cars?!?! Pretty sure this employees mom still ties his shoes and makes him a lunch.

Never will bring my vehicle there again. I asked them to give me a oil change and a tire rotation, also asked them to change bulb for my right front turn signal. They pulled wires out of the connector for turn signal for which I had to order a new wire harness that they couldn't fix after they broke, charged me for a tire rotation that they didn't even do. I literally watched them only take the RF wheel off to break my turn signal. I would not even give them a star.

Due to a problem caused by this location I am in touch with their corporate, my attorney, and additional inspection costs of my vehicle to determine what additional damages have occurred. Throughout their handling of the problem, they never once offered an apology. They were defensive from the start. Saying it happens frequently, blaming me, and blaming the vehicle. Not once did they take responsibility for their error. The manager, probably a nice guy outside of work, is a master of deflection, placing blame elsewhere, belittling, and being argumentative.I have gone there with many vehicles for 9+ years. Always satisfied. Until now. And never again.Even prior to the incident the manager was argumentive and defensive in a general conversation about Ford dealership costs. He felt it was his place to defend and teach me that dealership labor cost of $180/hour, and 40% markup on parts is a good thing. I just mentioned that I was trying to avoid going to Ford due to these costs. For some reason he felt he needed to defend, instead of just staying neutral or simply acknowledging.So when the problem occurred, I got to see him in high gear.

Tom was very rude. He basically reprimanded me because I didn t know how to deal with car issues. He treated me like his daughter and it was not nice. He needs some education on how to talk to customers. Devin was very nice. He needs to take Tom s place.

Very friendly and professional! They made sure to get me a coupon (I neither asked or knew one existed) so they saved me some money as well! They had everything done quickly and efficiently which meant my car was able to get me the 700+ miles home with zero issues. If I ever go through the area again with car issues/needs, I'd absolutely go back.

Amazing. Got me in and out in 20 minutes so I could get to my daughters practice in time. Exceptional and new that my VW needed full synthetic oil. Cleaned my windows, and air in tires. 10/10

Just brought in my New Audi S8 and was extremely happy with the cleanliness and the excellent customer service I received from Joe and Devin! My car required a special filter and they had one quickly delivered and I was on my way. Great experience . Jim

Got my oil changed quickly. They vacuumed and cleaned the windows-which is included in their signature service, but occasionally it hasn't been done at other locations. Had a coupon for 10.00 off the oil change. They said keep the coupon for next time and put in a code for an even bigger discount on my oil change. I have been thinking about finding another place to get my oil changed because it has gotten so expensive, but if the service and quality of work stays consistent I will probably continue to bring it here.
