Knowledgeable and probably reasonable, as far as prices. At least in the little I dealt with them. If your work isn't pressing, I don't think it'll be done anytime soon, as a vehicle we were told would be ready to sell in 4-6 weeks is still sitting there over two months later, but that doesn't apply to a vehicle you take to him to be fixed, necessarily. His lot is extremely full, but the cars do cycle through.

Albert and his team are awesome! I had some deep paint scratches from work done at a local dealership. They suggested I go to Duneland Collision. Dropped my SUV off at 8am and had it back to me by 12:30pm! You can't even tell there were any scratches! Nicely done and very pleased! Thank you!!Service: PaintingService: Painting

Duneland Collision is a fantastic shop. I haven't met a more honest man in the auto industry than their owner Al. After an accident, the last thing you need is a shop underperforming and overcharging. He's genuine, personable, and knowledgeable. His staff is skilled as well. Mazda's 2016 "Soul Red Metallic" is notoriously tricky for shops to match and Duneland did perfect. The world needs more men like Al, and more businesses like Duneland Collision.

I meant to write this review soon after we got our Jeep back after getting rear ended in July 2021. Such a great experience start to finish. They were professional, honest and up front. Duneland Collision exceeded my expectations in every way, you definitely won't go wrong using them. They are very professional, they fixed my car for almost half of what it was going to cost in Valpo. They even got it done in two days! Al and Tom are both great to work with. The team at Duneland Collision Repair came recommended from a friend to fix a noise coming from my front left tire. They fixed the problem quickly and their professionalism, honesty and price can't be beat. They also identified a large cut in my right rear tire and let me know I should have it replaced as it was not safe to drive on the highway. Glad they took the extra step as it was a big safety issue I was not aware of. Big thanks to the team at Duneland Collision.Service: Brakes

I have done business with this shop for YEARS. Albert is honest and the quality of work that's done is above and beyond! I have been taken to the rental company and taken home and have never had to worry about being stranded without a ride to or from and he has ALWAYS been reasonable and I would never go anyway else for my car repairs and recommend duneland collision to everyone. Albert Royce is the BEST!!!!!

A fantastic company. They take extraordinarily good care of your veichle and you can tell they go the extra mile in repairing and taking care of your car. The staff are also extremely kind and professional. Bless Sarah (I believe that is who takes calls) for answering all of my phone calls and questions. She was also very quick and effective with communication, and both she and the owner/boss were able to answer any and all questions that I had. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs their car repaired. (especially if you have a car where the parts are no longer easily accessible or need to be ordered from the manufacturer.)

Taken all my vehicles there over the years. 1st class body repair with exact color match. I highly recommend Duneland Collision if you want high quality, faultless work at a reasonable price. Never a disappointment!

Took my truck for estimate end of March. Gave me a price and I agreed. Said it would be one month and they would contact me. Month came and went and no contact. Texted them and they called me and could not remember my truck or me. Now they say another month. In the meantime they keep taking in vehicles they say are emergencies. I got tired of waiting and wasting my time. I do not recommend.

My boyfriend and I were on our way to Chicago from Ann Arbor when the bottom screen/bumper of his car fell off and started scraping while we where on the highway. Luckily, Duneland Collision was nearby and was able to help. Tom and the other employees were kind enough to fix our car problem. Great company and employees!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

This is the best body shop in all of Porter County, IN. I have tried quite a few body shops over my 35 adult years living here. The owner and his crew do beautiful body work at a very good price.

Albert and crew always do the BEST work around! Very reasonable rates, fast and friendly service, and the ability to work around changes. Insurance work is also no problem. As long as I'm within 500 miles of Chesterton, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

2000 cavalier, fall of 2015 i stopped by and spoke with the owner (Al), recieved a quote, dropped off a quarter panel, and was told to make an apt the next spring, make my apt for mid march, and drop off my car. 2 1/2 months pass that im without a daily driver so i check on my vehicle.. not only had they not even begun the work, but they had left it parked under a tree and allowed it to get coated with a nice sticky layer of tree sap. Spent the day trying to get ahold of the owner so that they could pull out the all the cars blocking mine in, and when he finally got to the shop he didnt even bother apologizing or trying to explain himself, just handed me my key and pointed to where my car and quarter panel (which i had dropped off the previous fall of 2015 when i got the quote) were, and continued right on with a business call suckering new business into his shop. They had my quarter panel for a year, and my car for 2 1/2 months, and had no motivation to so much as touch my vehicle,........not too mention now the whole car needs repainted as opposed to just the quarter due to tree sap that im still trying to remove. If you want the work done within this decade, dont go to duneland collision(unless your one of the many govt/police cars or cars accompanied by an insurance agent, ive seen him make time for, im a neighbor of this business as well as a failed customer) they arnt just a bad business, their bad neighbors as well.

Good work. The area they work on looks better than the rest of the car. If you need it done quickly just ask them, otherwise it's probably best to give them some time as it appears to me that, at any given time, they are tackling a bunch of jobs.

Lies about price, and being able to do repairs. Told me almost 6 mouths prior $5000.00 to do rust repair on my truck, when time came to do the repair his story changed, that he couldn't do it because it didn't run "the truck was driven there", then it needed more work than before from hail damage, "the truck had been in a garage the hole time and not outside ever since he gave me the price," then it was he couldn't get it in his paintings booth. If he'd just said he didn't want to do it in the first place it would have been no problem, but to lie about everything was just uncalled for. After a little checking in found out this was not the first-time he had pulled this. So beware.
