Taber is the Best Auto Shop. They are Very Honest and Efficient!! We were coming into town for a few days and our truck broke down . Sam got us in and fixed our truck . It was Reasonably priced and he lets you know what they are doing before they do it . They are very helpful with all your questions and concerns. Thank you Taber for Everything and for getting us back on the road.

Took my C5 here a few months back after an issue with the car not starting. After having the car for over a week, I was informed that the ignition switch was replaced but it didn t fix the issue and he can t figure it out. I told him to check one of the grounds on the engine block to see if that was the issue, but he said he already checked that. A few days pass, and I got a call saying the issue has been fixed and that the ground was the issue (the one that he said was already checked). Even though the new ignition switch did not fix the issue, I was still charged for the replacement and for fixing the ground. I was a bit frustrated at this point but just happy to have the car back. Get it home, and notice a large paint chip on the hood and the driver side door that was not there before. Looked like the hood was slammed with a tool siting in the windshield wiper tray. Fiberglass pieces were literally falling off it was so bad. I also realize at this point that THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG KEY. I had two keys for the car so I didn t notice this until a couple of days later when I tried to use the second key (the keys looked very similar). Apparently they gave me another customers key by mistake and didn t notice until 2 days later when I called. I had to drive 45 minutes to return this key, and retrieve my key and was given hardly an apology.Fast forward to now, and the car randomly started having the same problem. So had to have it towed again to a different mechanic, who informed that the ground that was supposedly repaired was just taped so that it would hold for a while and wasn t actually repaired. So here are I am, paying again for this issue to be fixed when I was told it was fixed the first timeLong story short: took nearly 2 weeks to be repaired, chipped the paint on my hood and door, charged me for a part I didn t need, gave me the wrong key, and didn t even fix the problem. What an absolute waste of time and money. And he claims to be a corvette mechanic . Could have been a fluke but unacceptable nonetheless.Service: General repairs & maintenance

What a fantastic shop to take any automotive needs. They are family owned and treat you as such. Whether it's working on my fleet vehicles or my personal rides, it's always A1 service and quality. Sam and Audrey pay attention to the details and go above and beyond. I've never been dissatisfied in any aspect of their business. I trust them, start to finish, with all my needs.

I wish I could give them zero stars worst company by far we have ever dealt with while rebuilding our 85 corvette. Purchased a dash cluster not even 4 years ago. It did not even last 5,000 miles said he would replace the power supply for $400 requested our card information to have it sent back to him and back to us ($30) which if we would not have paid he would have kept and resold. Then when questioned about any type of discount we were told, you sound like someone I don t want to deal with. And hung up the phone. Learn from our mistakes and DO NOT order from him. I never leave reviews but this man deserves one.

I would give zero stars if that option was available. I made the mistake of taking my Vette with 57, 000 miles to Tabers because A/C suddenly stopped working. Sam's initial diagnosis was that one of the pressure switches likely was the problem. They kept the car for 14 days and Sam's said that he rebuilt the A/C control module and that fixed the problem. After two weeks i finally got the car back with a bill for $697, most of which was for the rebuild of the /C control module and nearly $200 to replace the battery. I needed roadside assistance in less than one hour after leaving Tabers due to insufficient voltage in the new battery. As soon as I left Tabers I noticed that all interior lights remained on and when I parked vehicle for about 30 minutes, it would not restart. I soon discovered more electrical problems that were not present prior to work performed by Tabers. The rebuild of the A/C control module certainly did not fix the A/C problem since since it now switches from cold air to hot air every 1-2 minutes. I took car back to Tabers after calling and discussing the new electrical problems and the faulty A/C fix but I was told that it was all just a coincidence. After keeping car for another 12 days, Sam Taber finally admitted that he did not know what was wrong with the car but he might be able to find out with another 4-5 hours of labor time to diagnose problems and then more time to fix the problems. Previously, Tabers rebuilt the electronic dash cluster on the same vehicle but it has already begun flashing and giving false readings. This supposedly is guaranteed for one year but no use to take it back since I have leaned the hard way re Tabers quality of work and how they do not stand behind their work. My claims can be verified by witnesses who know the condition of my Vette before and after work by Tabers and Hamrick's Roadside Assistance. Further proof of my claims is sitting in my driveway until I take it to someone who can actually fix the A/C and repair the electrical problems. Next step is a complaint with the BBB and likely on to Small Claims Court.

I bought an 01 impala from here. It's a very dependable and good car at an unbeatable price. Customer service was awesome. Would definitely be a repeat customer, and would definitely suggest friends and family to buy from here.
