After years of loyal service, I have to move to a different service center. I went in for a fail part that was under warranty. I was told that the part number had changed and they would look up the part get it replaced. After five weeks, no part had been materialized, and I was not on the schedule for any type of service. I will never return to this location Sara the manager has reduced the ratings of the score from 4.8 to just over 3.2 stars. There s a reason why their shop isn t busy like the rest and they have no customers. . I will never go back to this location.

The Carmel store does great work. Sometimes hard to get through on the phone but it's obvious they're busy and short-staffed. I've been loyal to Firestone for a long time and had great to awful service (tires not installed properly!) at another Indy-area store, but the Carmel team is personable and responsive. The same is true of the Nora location, too.

I bought my tires from a different Firestone location. Here at the Carmel location, about 4:30pm, 2/20/2024, I witnessed a tech run the lug nuts down on one of my wheels with their pneumatic impact gun, until it hit the torque yield. It sounded like it was on the highest setting. I can guarantee he did that with all 4 wheels. He went around and used the torque wrench as you should. But I saw he didn t even turn the torque wrench AT ALL before it clicked . Indicating that it s at the torque setting on my the wrench. That is WAY too tight. Which can lead to stretching the threads on the studs, and potentially snap the studs and have a wheel come off while driving. Do yourself a favor and beware. I won t be coming to this location again. I was told by the guy working the counter. The tech had a problem with getting the lug nuts off. Whoever did it last must have put them on way too tight. Wow . Great job Columbo . That was this very location that rotated my tires last. A pneumatic impact gun should never be higher than the 2nd setting when running down lug nuts. If I had the means to rotate all 4 tires by my self I would. I don t want them touching my car again. If you would just take the extra few seconds to perform neat, and excellent work. You would be valued, and in demand as a worker. The guy in there obviously is just here for a job. I ll be using my torque wrench at home and adjusting them to the proper torque specification.

Received excellent service from both Store Manager (Sarah) and Service Manager (Keith) along with technician (Janell). I needed new battery and diagnostic performed asap. They exceeded my expectations and was on the road in very short time.

Great experience! We were in town for the Colts game from Cleveland and caught a nail in a tire. On a Sunday morning they were able to patch the tire and get us on the road for our 6 hour drive. Thank you to a great experience at Firestone!!

Best Automotive Service Ever - Great customer service from Sarah. I had just purchased a new Ford Bronco and was on my way home when I decided to stop and make an appointment to have custom 4Play wheels and Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo Tires which I had already purchase installed. Sarah was able to get me in the same day and the new installation was perfect. The technician did not rush and was carful not to damage the new and expensive wheels during installation. The installation required removal of the crash bars and Sarah had that taken care of as well. I am a former Bridgestone employee and only run Duelers on my SUV's and Potenzas on my Mustang GT. I'm happy to see that Firestone still defaults to humans for customer service and not the typical Online AI-Bot experience that the rest of the service industry defaults to.

Keith was super helpful. I arrived just at closing with 2 screws in my tire. He was so polite and found the screws in my tire right away. Gave advice on what tire I needed and gave me great information to make a decision on what tire I needed urgently and gave advice on what tires needed to be next. Waiting room was clean. Will go there for all my tires!

If you have no clue about cars, you will like them. If you know how things works in cars, you will realize that they are lazy and don't do their job the way it should be. I took my Town and Country after replacing my tie rods and front ADJUSTABLE struts to them for alignment. And I asked the service clerk " do you do toe and camber alignment or just toe" she said they do camber if they could. I informed her that my struts are adjustable and they should do the camber as I had replaced my struts. She said don't worry the technician knows his job. During the alignment I noticed that the technician hadn't touch any struts bolts. One hour later when the car is ready I asked her for the alignment computer copy, she gave it to me, see that camber is out of spec, she said it is in spec but the computer didn't print it well, and the technician wrote "In" with his pen meaning "In spec".Firestone, how stupid you think people are!?Shame on such a big company. Now of course my front tires wear excessively from the outside. The first printout before alignment, the second is after alignment.Even toe alignment is not that perfect, right side 0.06 and left is 0.09, if I am doing the job I would set both sides to 0.05

They were quick, informed me on other issues with my vehicle, and automatically quoted me on those issues with price break downs. Didn t feel like I was being up-charged or like they were pitching unnecessary services.

Took my Ridgeline to Firestone for an oil change. Made an appointment online. They got me in 5 minutes ahead of time and I was done 40 minutes later. A dealership would have taken 2 hours.

I made the appointment a day in advance and here got my car inside when they said they would. I had a chance to go next door and get a cup of coffee and close out some emails and when I was done [less than an hour] my car was already parked outside. When I went to pay for it, they told me to pay attention to a couple of instrument panel indicators.

Had a 10 a.m. appointment, drove over an hour to find a closed sign on the door. It would have been nice for someone to call and let me know!Wasted my time and money, negligence on Firestones end!Not happy, gas is over 4 dollars per gallon and you all got me running there for nothing!

Stopped by with a question and left with a solution. Had no appointment but the team members helped me last minute on a Sunday with a tire issue of mine. Big thank you to them who helped me out!

Parts were not available when promised, delay in repairs despite a scheduled appointment, inaccessible during service (no communication or updates), on our tire replacement the tires were covered in a foreign substance, no valve stems on new tires, air pressure was incorrect, and our wheels were scratched down to the metal.

I dropped my car off the night before I had an appointment to get tires and an alignment. By 4pm the day of my appointment, I have heard nothing. I call at a little after 4pm and they tell me they couldn't "find my tires" that were confirmed delivered the day before. They tell me the technician is working on it and that it will be done by 5pm when they close. I arrive before 5pm and am told it going to be another 25min. I wanted to have my car before the storm arrived today, now I'll be driving home in the storm. A lot of excuses and completely unapologetic.

there is absolutely no communication at this business. we spoke on the phone and five minutes later our car is un-drivable? this is ridiculous. they don t give you a time the vehicle will be done. they will tell you a price and call back and the price is several hundred dollars higher. we have to have our car towed from this location to an actual body shop now. absolutely horrible i will never go back. do not come here!

Took the car in for an alignment and asked to check the brakes. Was told it would be a little over an hour. Four hours later, it still wasn t ready when I called back. The front desk said they were in the midst of the full body inspection . I didn t ask for that, just the brakes, when I stated this, I was told that it s how they inspect the brakes and there would be no charge. They had the wrong number for us, not their fault, so when we couldn t get an answer we drove back around 6:30 (posted hours are until 7). They were closed and told me I need two new tires. I paid for the tires and the alignment. Picked up the car the next day, got a few miles away and the tire pressure light came on. Stopped to check the pressure and both new tires were low, one significantly so. Additionally, after reviewing my receipt, I was also charged for a full body inspection. DO. NOT. USE. THIS. I came in to have four ordered tires installed on brand new rims I ordered, that were still in the original shipping boxes. My appointment was for a Wednesday morning drop off and a pickup 5 pm that day. By Friday morning they still had not started. The store associate identified his supervisor had not finished creating a service ticket and that's why they were not completed. He told me it would be hard for the store to have this completed by the end of the day and could get to it Saturday. I offered to just come in Monday morning to allow them the full two days. Monday morning, I can still see the wheels and tires not started. The store manager tells me she has lots of customers and they haven't gotten to them (which was five days after I was promised they d be completed). When I later in the day to pick up the completed wheels. There was grease and dirt on the wheels, which is annoying, but I can clean. One of the rims had been scratched. The store manager and three of the technicians came to see what I was looking at. They explained to me know this couldn t have been their fault. I had hand inspected each rim before delivering to Firestone Service Center. I also put back the original packaging for each rim, which was a fabric layer, a plastic rim strip, then three layers of cardboard. I also had issues with the store manager then not giving me a clear way to get a hold of the Area Manager and getting more run-around.Service: Tires

Worst customer service ever. Don't waste your time with this place, it is a joke. While my truck was in their service bay getting a tire patched, one of their employees gave me a quote on a set of 4 new tires. I scheduled an appointment for 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon. When I arrived, they refused to install the tires on my truck because they claim it was too heavy. The tires currently on my vehicle were installed in this very same facility four years ago. They also informed me to waste more of my time and bring it back another day first thing in the morning so they could have it for a full eight hour day to TRY to change four tires. Try to change the tires? Literally told me it would be an ALL DAY JOB to change four tires. Seriously? Apparently, their mechanics can't figure out how to change four tires on a pick up truck. What a shame. Even if he jacked up one corner at a time it should still be done within an hour. I'm sure there are other places with trained technicians who are happy to put tires on my truck.Service: Tires

Do not take your car to this location! I'm appalled and disgusted by the customer service that my mother and I received from Sarah (who does not need to be working in customer service). I'm extremely agitated at the fact that they had no record of my purchasing and exchanging the batteries (that have 2 year warranties) within the past year of 2021.There were plenty of other issues upon check out with Sarah; and her lack of professionalism when dealing with paying customers who deserve a logical and reasonable explanation as to why they are being over charged.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Battery

Lied and said the voltage on the alternator was too high and needed to be replaced. Despite the Firestone in fishers checking the entire charging system 2 weeks ago and saying everything was fine it was just a sensor malfunction. When I asked her why the other Firestone said the voltage was fine the lady claimed her techs have a special tool to check the alternator that other places don t have. Gtfoh So anyway the alternator was just replaced 3 months ago and under warranty so the next day I took it back to Midas who installed it. They tested it for two hours. Checked everything and said everything is fine and voltage is normal. But what really behooves me is I specifically told the chick at the counter to DISREGARD the batttery light because I already knew what was going on. So I knew they were on bs when they said they checked anyway. They were supposed to check the rear wheel for damage from hitting a pothole. My hood should have never been opened. Also quoted me $1600 for rear upper/lower control arm. It s a shame that a business in Carmel would try to get over like this on a young woman.

I will never go back to this Firestone. I made an appointment with a customer representative, received a confirmation email about my appointment, and proceeded to go to that Firestone at my appointment time the next day. I arrive at the Firestone and the employee proceeds to tell me that my appointment doesn t exist and there s nothing they can do for me. I even show my confirmed appointment email and am told Sorry we don t have you in the system. My appointment was for my windshield wiper motor to be repaired because it is currently not working and this is obviously a problem that needs fixed as soon as possible. The employee even proceeds to tell me that they had a cancellation at that location and still cannot do anything for me since they are so backed up. This Firestone was not willing to do anything to accommodate this unfortunate circumstance and they offered no solution besides a pathetic apology. I will not be coming back.

I went to this location to get my vehicle lease plan maintenance completed. I came home and realized that my washer fluid and coolant fluid was completely empty in my reservoir. I came back the next day to speak with the Manager, Josh. I asked him if he could top off my coolant since I had none in my reservoir, and this service should have been completed previously during my first visit. He told me that my lease plan maintenance provider does not top off coolant, and they only top off windshield wiper fluid. Told me that the only way to get coolant topped off is to perform a coolant flush service. (Note: this is a service performed at 105,000 miles when I only have 61,000 miles) Well this doesn t add up because why would you leave my vehicle s coolant reservoir empty for another 44,000 miles? Also, it states clearly on the 5,000 mile maintenance lease plan check sheet to check ALL fluids. I called my lease plan maintenance provider, and they told me that was not true what I was told, and that they should have topped off my coolant. I am writing this review, because I want people to know that this management is very unprofessional, and clearly the previous reviews back the statement. I am not one to write reviews, until I am blatantly lied to and treated unprofessionally by management. I went to Jiffy Lube next door, and without hesitation they topped off my coolant through my vehicle lease plan maintenance provider. I will never go back to another Firestone again, or recommend this location to another friend or family member. Brock the Regional Manager and Owner Steven should be aware of the unprofessional management at this location.

A rogue pothole decimated my front end. I had the car towed to the Carmel location early the next morning. Within an hour I receive a report on damages and an estimate. I then request further evaluation be completed - I figure they might as well fix whatever else they find wrong under there! By early afternoon I receive a call with the full report. My car is old, so there was a lot to find! The lady I spoke with was extremely patient and thorough in explaining what they found, what I should fix, and what could wait. I did not expect such honesty and transparency from an auto shop! On top of this, they had my repairs finished by the end of the day. Overall my experience with the staff and service at the Carmel location far exceeded my expectations. I will gladly be returning here in the future. Thank you!

Incredible service!! Was visiting Indy from Chicago and had tire issues. Very few places were open and the ones that were couldn t help with my issue or were just too busy. Heath at Firestone was busier than the other places and only had 2 service techs. He fit me in and saved me from spending another night in a hotel and got me back on the road. Above and beyond customer service!!

Not impressed with them. They had my daughter's car all day to fix. Never called us to tell that wrong part ordered. Then waited another 2 or 3 hours to tell us that they dont have the part and cant fix it until mid week. Just not super impressed with their service right now. Or the fact they wait and keep car all day and wont even offer to pay for an uber for daughter to get to work since we came down to make sure she did not have to sit there all day and wait for them to not fix her car.....

The staff is nice but this place took literally 7 hours to fix my vehicle. After calling multiple times and trying to add things they recommend my total became $400 very quickly. I then picked my car up around 5pm (it was dropped off at 7am) and started driving to hear a foreign sound. I thought I had ran over something and got a flat tire. I get out to see that they didn t screw on the cover on the bottom front of my car. Assuming this is for the air filter and/or oil change and they forgot to put it back on. So here I am with the piece dragging on the bottom on my vehicle. I called to tell him and figure out a suggestion as they proceed to say You actually don t need this part so you can take it to the dealership or just let it hang it will be fine. WHAT! I needed help in this moment and they were being completely rude and unprofessional. I will never return to this and neither will my fianc or family. I know these guys might be people and I understand that everyone isn t perfect but I realize today that this isn t a place I d trust with my vehicle and they try so hard to get you to spend money. They need to care more about their customer and building rapport. While sitting in the waiting room I also witnessed false claims about tires and they had no idea what they were talking about.

Sorry it took longer for me to reply than allowed on your survey. I think it s important that you know that the individual who checked me out made a comment that I needed new tires on the rear. I informed him I had just had them rotated and checked 2 days prior to my oil change appointment. His comment was hummm they should never put bald tires on the rear .These are 70K tires and they only have 20K on them. I had them rechecked and they are fine. I m disappointed that I had this experience at your place of business. From his actions it could be perceived that I would not know anything about tires. It makes a lady wonder if this is the proper place to take my business.
