My wife and I have taken our cars to this service multiple times, and every visit has been fantastic. They truly care about their customers, ensuring transparency and fair pricing. The quality of their work is excellent, and they always complete it in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

They do a great job and fix the ALMOST any car issue extremely well, But the downside to Mears is that they are a little pricey. You get what you pay for though so I understand fully. I have little to no complaints outside I wish that they could be a little cheaper or provide a points or "frequent flyer" system for people who bring their cars there regularly (kind of like a Kroger Card or Speedway Card). I give Mears a grade of A and recommend them (they are also kind and considerate for the most part).

You guys take care of the maintenance on our vehicles. We have always been happy with the service we received from you guys. You always get our car done in a timely manner and we never seem to be long without our car.

My son had car issues on a Saturday. It was towed to Mears Automotive. I called Monday and spoke to Tom. He said we will try to get it in today but most likely Tuesday. He called a few hours later, identified the issue and we approved the repair. He called that same afternoon letting us know we were able to pick it up! It was affordable, the mechanics are nice, and so far so good on the repair! This is our first experience with Mears and it was great. Let's hope that is all my son's car needed. I will update if it changes, but we were very pleased.

I got my transmission replaced through car shield and installed by mears auto around January 2023. Around March of 2023 the transmission started leaking. I called mears and they said they would look at it. They determined there was a leak and said they would fix it no charge because they didn't want to deal with car shield again(this is where I messed up by agreeing to that). Three months later I am seeing leaks on my driveway again. I take it back to mears and they tell me that it is the transfer case not the transmission. I take it to another shop and they don't see any transfer case leaks and some how there isn't any transmission leaks. April 9 2023 I go to bill estates Chevy to get an oil change and they see the transmission leaking. I call car shield and they tell me to take it back to the shop where I had the original claim. Mears auto tells me that car shield will not cover the leaks. I tell car shield there were leaks occuring 3 and 6 months after it being installed. Car shield tells me if mears sealed a leak after install and didn't report it to them they have no record of a leak issue with the transmission(makes sense) and cannot support a claim after warranty has expired. I tell the guy at the front desk that I was screwed me over because you guys didn't want to report it to car shield last year. He just said he had no intention to screw his customers. So basically he felt his business did nothing wrong by not telling car shield about the sealed leak last year. Unbelievable. So now I'm stuck with an transmission leak that wasn't properly fix last year by Mears auto.

This is beyond one of the nicest collision centers in the Fishers area. The staff are extremely helpful, and literally take their time with every single step or option. They also treat you with respect.

Won't go here ever again. We took our truck in last fall for the transmission. They said it was not the problem but cost $3000 to fix. Took it in February for AC and transmission and starter. $3000 more. They never called. After two weeks I contacted them and it was ready. Said transmission was fine and Ac worked. In May AC went out. In June transmission went out. I guess they don't know much about either. Very disappointed.Services: Transmission, A/C system maintenance, A/C system repair, Transmission repair

Quick and professional...Every other place couldn't even look at our car for a week or 2.Final bill came in just under the estimate. They let us use a loaner car while they did the repairs to our Nissan which was very helpful.Highly recommend!Service: Electrical

Mears is is a trustworthy repair shop. I ve had them repair all my vehicles, some that weren t done properly at other places. They aren t always the least expensive but they have talented technicians and the quality of the their work and willingness to stand behind it is why I keep returning.

I had a very nice experience with Mears last week. Troy was very helpful over the phone and was quick to get me scheduled. The Mears team diagnosed my girls' car quickly, addressed the problem, performed some other services I asked for and had it back out the same day. Nice job by Troy and the Mears team.

I will always take my cars to these guys. My dad always took my car here in the 90s when I was a teen and I've used them ever since. They've looked at/fixed two of my sons' cars and have charged fairly and maintained the degree of honesty I've been used to for two decades. Highly recommend.

Edit 10/9/21 in response to the owners reply (see below): Hi Kevin. You must have me confused with another customer. I have never owned nor sold a van. The vehicle I brought to you was definitely mine and I was definitely the paying customer? Perhaps your records got mixed up which would explain why you told me there were all of these issues with the car that did not exist. I have not received a call from you but please feel free to reach out. Thank you.We bought a used vehicle in to have to looked over. We were told there was an oil leak and for $4000 they could fix it. We got a 2nd opinion, there was no oil leak. We have used them a couple times before and it always bothered me that we would have no idea how long our vehicles were expected to take and no communication unless we reached out. Just not the place for us.

If you're looking for a reliable, honest auto repair shop this is it. My husband and I have been using Mears for all our automotive needs and on more than one occasion they saved us a bunch of money. You'll always get an honest evaluation of what's wrong. If it's minor they have often fixed things for me and don't charge. We highly recommend them.

Took my girlfriends car to them for an inspection into engine codes she was having. They told me she had a failed head gasket and would cost 3-4000 .When I got to shop they quoted it at 2800. I needed a 2nd opinion for such a costly problem so I requested my keys. They charged me $65 for an inspection when in all other communication, charges were never discussed. I told them they should be clear up front, but I still paid. Took the car down the street and was told nothing was wrong with head gasket and the problem was thermostat and PC Valve which combined cost less than the improper diagnosis of head gasket. Never again.

They checked brakes and disks and said they were okay, than they checked wheel wobble and said it was a bad tire. They charged us $OOOO.00 , that's right, nothing. Mears has the nicest personnel! They went out of their way to fit us in their schedule, had my vehicle done quickly and their prices were a bit cheaper than competitors. I'm so glad we found them and will definitely be using them in the future!

Outstanding service. I last minute requested an appointment and they accommodated me no problem despite their busy schedule. I had a leak in my transmission and addressed the issue and them some, all while keeping the price we agreed on. They rebooted my internal computer and now all my lights, locks, and radio works again! Totally unexpected. Much thanks, and I will definitely use their services in the future.

Everyone I interacted with was friendly & professional. It took a little longer than planned to fix my car, but they gave me a loaner, kept me updated on the progress, stood by their quoted price, & the car is running very smoothly, so I'm a happy lady!

I LOVE these guys. They have taken care of a few issues with my car over the past few months, including some major repairs to the cooling system, and done fantastic work. Best customer service I have ever experienced with an auto mechanic. A good mechanic close by is a valuable asset, and I know whenever I leave Indy it will be tough to find mechanics as good as the ones at Mears to work on my vehicles.

I have been taking my car to Mears for at least 4 yrs now. They do excellent work and I have always been able to get my car in the same day for regular/routine maintenance (oil changes, etc). They always give fair estimates and advise what it a must fix, can wait, etc. They are excellent!
