This location is amazing and I want to give a special shout-out to Jeff and Bree. You always hear the horror stories about chain shops but this place is different. They have taken great care of my vehicles. What I love about this location is that they will be upfront and honest with you - even if it means not getting a little extra revenue. By doing so, they have earned my business for as long as I m around. They are also incredibly kind and informative if you call with a silly question. Keep up the great work!

I have been getting my oil changed here for about a year. Each time they are very quick, helpful, and always very friendly. They check lights, filters, and top off all fluids. Recently my blower stopped working so I inquired with Car-X about making appointment. They were very quick to get me in, ordered the parts I needed, and made the replacements needed the next day. They were very friendly and up front about each part of the cost, and had a very competitive pricing. I would 100% recommend Car-X in Brownsburg, IN for oil changes and any maintenance/work needed!

Highly recommend Car X. There have been 2 times that they could have overcharged me and was very honest with the work. I also get my oil changed here all the time. Very quick and thorough.

I initially came here because of an oil change coupon. I came back because of the level of courtesy & professionalism. I will return because of the care this team takes with their customers AND their landscaping. These folks don't sit down to flip through their phones between customers. My son worked for this company and he put his two weeks in left a couple days before his two weeks and they stole his money. They owed him a weeks pay for vacation and refused to pay because they said he didn t put his two weeks in this company is crooked. Do not buy anything from it.

We've always had good experiences at Car-X Brownsburg. They're very knowledgeable and good at explaining what's wrong and what needs to be done to fix it. I would highly recommend.

Person at the desk asked my tire size. I told him make and model of my vehicle but he said can you go out and take picture of tire.!!!Why was he to lazy to look it up on the system by make and model. Great customer service???

I would give no stars if I could. It s as if this place is run by children. We pulled up to the express lane for the oil change only for them to ignore us and give no direction. While waiting for them to tell where to go and which door to go into (which they didn t even aknowledge us) another car pulls in and they open the door for them but leave us still waiting WITH NO DIRECTION. This place has always been a source of headache when it comes to car matainence and customer services.

It's always a good experience at this location. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation but was told it would be a waste of money to rotate the tires as they had reached the wear bars and it was time to replace them. They put together a price on 3 options to replace them and had them in stock. I chose the Continentals and they had them mounted, balanced, and installed in no time. Thank you Car-X Brownsburg!

As a potential car buyer, I had visited a dealership and felt a nagging suspicion that the salesperson was not being completely forthright about the condition of the vehicle I was interested in. To put my doubts to rest, I decided to seek a second opinion by taking the car to CarX for an inspection, and boy, am I glad I did.After their inspection, they sat me down and went through a comprehensive report, showing me everything that needed attention. To my disbelief, almost none of the issues that the dealership claimed to have fixed were actually resolved. CarX took the time to walk me through each problem, explaining the implications and offering solutions.Despite the disheartening discovery, I was grateful for the transparency and honesty displayed by the CarX team. Their dedication to quality service and their willingness to educate me about the vehicle's true condition went above and beyond my expectations. My mother brought her vehicle(90s model Ford van) in for a wheel bearing replacement. After the repairs were done she noticed that it was still making noise as before. When she took it back in for inspection they started telling her the problem was something else now so she asked me to step in as she didn t understand. The worker (Jeff) tried to divert me from the wheel bearing when I went into the shop. I was able to put my hands on the van and show him the wheel bearings were not tightened to spec and were wobbling. I had him torque the drivers side in front of me and there was no longer any play in the bearing. Jeff was rude and the entire time was trying to tell me that they were adjustable and they were supposed to have play in them(which is not correct). He gave me many different excuses as to why. We asked them to re torque the passenger side and we would just be on our way. He was very unprofessional and was attempting to take advantage of my 70 year old mother who didn t know any better. Very lucky I was there or I m sure they would have her vans rear end torn apart and be adding up another bill. Needless to say they won t get her business again and I would advise you to be careful if you are not knowledgeable about vehicle maintenance. Check their work and don t be afraid to stand up for yourself.I would also like to add that when we arrived in the morning she almost ran over a remote control car that was being operated by the employees. they were ramping it into the parking lot with customers in the area. Professionalism is not their strong suit.Service: Steering & suspension repair

First time I went in I, like many other reviewers, was extreme happy with the service I received. Friendly, courteous and quick. However, the problem was not fixed and when I returned with a statement from my regular mechanic indicating such, my experience was very different. They were argumentative, angry, and had multiple excuses ending with it s supposed to be this way . Tires ARE NOT supposed to have play in them after wheel bearings are replaced, and the whomp, whomp noise is NOT supposed to be there. They would not make the repair right, they DO NOT stand behind their workService: Steering & suspension repair

I don't recommend Car X unless you're looking to get scammed out of nearly $2000. They told me I needed all new brakes, struts, and shocks when I only needed front brake replacement, then told me it was going to be $2500. They were very resistant when I asked for the keys back so I could take it somewhere else for a second opinion. They showed me one of the shocks to "prove" to me it was leaking. Turns out they put grease on the shock to make it look like it was leaking. I'm so glad I got that second opinion! I used to get all my maintenance done here. Very disappointed, and I will not be back.Service: Auto maintenance

I ve been coming here for the last few years and have always had an excellent experience. This includes both the quick change oil and general maintenance to our vehicles, including plugs and brakes. They have always been prompt, professional and only recommend repairs that are needed.

Went in with an overheating problem and said it passed a block test and that the problem was fixed with bleeding the coolent system and it did nothing. $150 down the drain.

We're from out of town and found a nail in our tire this morning on our way home. We called multiple places and limped the car to another handful of stops, and everywhere we went quoted us 3-4 hours minimum to patch the tire. We have 2 young kids who would never make it that long. However we called Car X and the yound lady at the desk was very respectful and said that they could fit us in within 45 minutes!. We showed up and within 5 minutes our car was being pulled in! I came in with a slow leak in a tire, that was getting less slow by the day, right when they were about to close. Since I work in healthcare, and was working 12 hr days, I couldn't get back any earlier and they were able to make a special exception and get me fixed so I could keep driving my car. I really appreciate them getting me in to get my tire fixed.

The service here is incredible! I went for an oil changed and ended up also getting an air filter. Although they did not have it in stock, they were able to have it delivered in record time! So I did not even have to wait very long. I stayed in my car the entire time and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am never going to Walmart for an oil change again! Keep it up you guys!

Great place, took my car in for exhaust work. Put a resonator on my car and didn't like the sound of it so I had them do a straight pipe and the guy there was able to weld a new flange on the new piece so I could return the old one. very impressed.
