I called the shop at 8am to see if they could do a fuel pump replacement on my 03 truck.At 9am a tow truck arrived and by 4 pm the truck was fixed and ready to be picked up! I was astounded that it was ready so quickly and at a reasonable price (considering he towed it too) Thank you Ave and crew for great work! I m sure we will be back I hope not, but hey, we always need a reliable mechanic!

We purchased a 2009 Buick Enclave from an independent seller and brought the vehicle to Brad for a full work up. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable, Brad was quick, efficient, professional, and kind. His feedback was extremely helpful and honest. I am so thrilled to have received this shop recommendation from a friend. Having a reliable establishment to service our vehicles is invaluable which brings me to my closing statement: the pricing is more than fair; it s generous.

I'm 2 hours away from home with my 8-year-old son (and 5-year-old dog who is in Brownsburg for surgery today), we drop the dog and we go to leave and the car won't start:( After some troubleshooting/phone calls/youtube videos, my mechanic husband is ready to drive 2 hours to put a starter in my vehicle (so that I don't get sent through the wringer by a mechanic shop who might easily take an advantage of the situation)Still, I search the closest mechanic shop and Ave's popped up..I called Ave's (Avery), he said he'd send a guy/tow truck over to get the van and assess what's wrong. Ive been here before and naturally Im scared, skeptical, and its COLD outside so I'm desprate, too... I'm unsure if I want to go this route (but he is FAST and the guy is here already!!) husband's ready to reroute his work day and make the 2 hour drive (one way) we determined its just a starter and we decided they will probably charge us 600. When the tow truck/Brad arrives, Brad takes a peek at the car to see if he can't assess something simple.. I'm hesitating $$$.. but to ease my mind Brad price checks a starter (135) and says he can change that in less than an hour (110) AND NO TOW CHARGE... I'm feeling better.. So, he ordered the part and we loaded up the van!! At the shop I met Nathan behind the desk who's very nice and the shop is very clean and organized-nice! There's a few project cars they're working on, they take a couple minutes to show me one...So, its a very laid back atmosphere, friendly. Before the part could arrive, Nathan offered to give us a ride to go get some breakfast. (Is this place for real???) He dropped us off and before we could finish eating Nathan was back to pick us up because our van was done! (Are you kidding me????) When we got to the shop, not only was the starter in and van running, but Brad also showed me the old starter and performed a test on it so I could see that it was no longer effective. (Love this...wow) And he also took the time to fix my negative battery terminal that was loose and he put a new one on (soddering was needed and performed) No charge. (Really? No charge?)I never BEFORE felt like my bill was so reasonable I should tip the mechanic and tip the desk person but today I did! And I told them I would be sure to write a review because I think you can trust these guys. Good for the soul to have such service!! Thank you Avery, Brad, and Nathan:)PS I think they waived the tax too because 110 plus 135 is all they charged.. I better send a bigger tip... cant beat this experience.

Ave went out of his way to get me back on the road. My Cadillac truck needed a lot of work. He gave me the details on what needed to be fixed, and what didn t need to be fixed. He took really good care of me. He operates his business with and handles his customers with integrity. I can t thank him enough for getting me safely back on the road.

Brad, hopes out and was ready to assist me immediately! Great customer services, talked me through the entire process and made me aware of the problem so I d understand! My 2000 Chevrolet Blazer ZR2 off road needed all new brake lines and hoses gave Aves a call he sad bring it on down. I call AAA to get it towed. So as I move it into place for the tow truck I put it in park when the tow truck got lined up I tried to put it in neutral and the transmission shift cable broke. Aves called me with a quote the next day Friday picked up the Blazer Monday everything works great now and at a very responsible price I would recommend Aves Auto Repair to anyone.

I was very pleased with Ave s auto. My car broke down on Labor Day and no one else was open or would make time for me and Ave got me right in and had my car fixed in less than two hours. Ave was very kind and seemed to genuinely care. Ave and his employees all seemed very honest, and I was pleased with the amount I was charged. This was the best experience I ve ever had with an auto repair shop. My family and I will be using Aves auto from here on out :)

We first brought it in for brakes and something with my ABS braking. They replaced my back brakes and did other modifications without clearing it through us first, this caused it to cost another couple hundred dollars. Fine, but then about a month in my back wheel was making a thunking noise then started to wobble, when I finally brought it in they found the wheel was not properly secured. This is unacceptable not only this they were rude and condescending when we explained the problem. They tried to play it off like it was our fault but it was not. Do not go here.

Had great experience with them. Meineke told me my transmission needed to be replaced and thease honest people found it was just low on transmission fluid cause it had a leaking gasket and fixed the gasket. And did some other work on stopping oil leaks. They saved me alot of money and I'm very grateful to see that there are still honest people today. Can't thank you all enough.

Have taken my car there twice in 6 months for a few different things. They do phenomenal work. I was charged the price he quoted on the phone. They finished it exactly when they said they would. The staff are the most courteous, helpful bunch that I've ever dealt with. I'm beyond satisfied with everything they've done for me. I decided to give Ave's auto a 2nd chance after they adjusted the timing on my classic car and I found the main spark plug wire was broken and stuffed back into the distributor( could have been stranded). This time I was requesting front coil spring replacement on my jeep with customer supplied parts. They were rude and expensive adding that they would charge more because of the customer supplied parts. I get not offering a warranty but charging more and being rude on the phone was not called for. Never going back.

I was broke down and this shop got me immediately. They fixed my van and had me running in 2 hours. I am so grateful and appreciative of the small shops. I almost always do my own repairs but I did not have the materials and time to fix my car this time. After reading the reviews I took a chance and was so happy I did. Ave was so quick to diagnose, was friendly, and had my car back to me in half the time and amount of cost that a person could expect. It's nice to have an honest mechanic in our town that does quality work that is super affordable. My car rides like new if not better than when I purchased it so many years ago. You have a forever customer with my family, friends, and I!

Some good friends told us about Ave's and I'm so glad they did. My daughter just got her license and we wanted to make sure that her car was in perfect condition. Avery and his staff were very professional and great at keeping us in the loop. He wanted my daughter to be safe too. He really cares! The price was right on point. We recommend him to everyone! Wow is allI have to say! I have a tricky 1982 Dodge Explorer camper van that always seems to find a way to give me cause for concern on any road trip - this was no different. I had a sulfur smell permeating the drivers area after a long drive from Chicago so before I headed out of town again I wanted to get it looked at.I am not from the area so I called around to at least 5+ shops that all said they couldn t look at it until the following week if at all. After finding myself in a rabbit hole of classic car mechanics I gave Aves a ring and was told to bring the van in tomorrow and they would look at it.I did as asked and not only did they look at Betty right away (Betty White is the van of course..) but also made some suggestions on ways to improve how she was running based on poor carb set up done by a previous mechanic. He tweaked the carb right there and told me to come back with a cold carb tomorrow so he could make further improvements.The van has never run better and I owe it all to Aves! The only downside is that I am not local and can t work with them on the regular because he is the first mechanic I have met along my long road of mishaps that I feel actually knows that they are talking about! I hope they take more work from me in the future and I plan to reach out to him for some other planned repairs that I can schedule out for future visits to Indy

I have been a customer here for years, Ave has worked on our Cadillac, Fusion and our Sable...always exceeding my expectations with regards to quality and price. Recently my son and I took our 1970 Firebird to Avery, I asked everyone where to take this vintage car...they all said take it to Aves Auto. We did and are so happy! This was not an easy task and Ave came in under budget and a day early. If you have any car repair needs, Aves Auto Repair is the place to take it...I can say I have the best and most honest mechanic. Thank you Avery!

Ave is a legit old school car mechanic, he was able to fix my son's 63 Chevy Corvair at a reasonable rate. His place is hard to miss as there are always a few classic cars floating around his parking lot. You'd be hard pressed to find a better and more reasonable classic car mechanic than Ave and his crew.

Honest, quick, reliable, fair... we take multiple cars to them and will never go anywhere else. We dropped a car off on a Saturday morning to be fixed on the following Monday. Ave said he saw it in the lot when he drove by and went to fix it that day. We got a call when they opened Monday morning and said it was already done!! I didn t know until now that they are faith based Christians and that they give back to our community which makes me more proud to do business with them.

Great guy. Really helped me out today. Needed to remove a brush guard from a recently purchased truck. It had been on there for a long time and I didn t have the tools to get the job done. Avery helped me out and didn t charge me a dime. I have 4 fleet vehicles and will be having maintenance done with his shop from now on.

Great people and service. I was struggling to find someone to work on my car and Avery got it in immediately and right back. Explained everything I needed to know and what else to do soon or down the road. Will definitely be back. I've been looking for a good mechanical shop for years since I've moved to Brownsburg!!

Fixed my car for a very reasonable price, so glad to have found a local mechanic to work on my vehicles. Ave is straight forward and honest. I won't go any where else. 5 stars all day long.

Honest up front and super fast. Went in today at 8am gave me a call telling me the diagnosis at 9am. Gave me my options as to the best fix and the cheapest fix. Was home by noon and the car sounds and runs better than when i bought it. Found my new mechanic...thanks again!

Best rat rod maker one could know I'm writing this in rebuttal to a review that was written about ave using the lord ,about not giving his 10% to churches, I know for a fact that ave gives more than you could ever know to different churches not to mention the cars he gives to people in real need so to whom this concerns how much do you give !?

It's a honest and fair priced automotive shop. I've never had to take my vehicle back because it wasn't diagnosed or repaired properly. It had always been done right the first time. I recommend this shop to anyone who wants honesty, a fair price and want it repaired right the first time.

Tried to charge for $2700+ replacement of AC condenser when the dealer only needed to fix a leak for less than $800. It's either due to malpractice or incompetence, neither is acceptable. Trust is broken, it's up to you the consumer to even consider them. Good luck.
