I am very pleased with Bignell Automotive (Zach). I was needing extensive work to be done on my car including new tires (other than oil changes, I did not service my car for years).Zach is a professional mechanic: knowledgeable, trustworthy, dependable, and gives great attention to detail. After the services completed I felt like I was driving a new car.Bignell Automotive is competitively priced. What really surprised me was the 2 year / 24,000 Mile Warranty on All work. Genuinely, I highly recommend Bignell Automotive.

Only mechanic willing to make time to check my car the same day. And once I dropped of my car I immediately got a call back before I even got home he already had checked my car! Definitely someone I would recommend!

Recently had my truck heater repaired as well as the window washers replaced. New battery was also installed. Zach was very cordial and professional both on the phone and in person. All work was performed quickly and thoroughly. I plan to return for future service work as needed.

I can always get my vehicles in to be see at Bignell Automotive way faster than other places. I also get my vehicle back quicker. Zach always explains everything very thoroughly.

Had an issue with my car not starting and he got me in right away and had my car ready same day. He fixed the issue and then some. Car is good as new. Zach is awesome!! Definitely found my mechanic! Will not take my vehicles anywhere else from now on! He's very detailed and a straight shooter. I ve had several appointments with Zach for everything from a routine oil change to an upgraded intake and exhaust, to brakes, to a rear suspension upgrade. Excellent service every time! Such a great place! We were having some issues with annoying brake noises. Our dealership told us everything was fine, Zach told us what was really going on and how he could best fix the problem when we were ready. We really appreciated how he took the time to take a short drive with us so he could hear what we were hearing! He also told us about an important recall that the dealership had not told us about. Repaired my throttle body. Good customer service. Offered their loan department of i needed to get financial assistance with repair costs. Didn't end up needing that. Done in a timely manner. I did ask for my doors to be locked since i was picking up after hours and it wasn't.

Zach is very knowledgeable and treats you like family. One call is all it took to get my vehicle scheduled for repair. The after hours key drop is convenient and I feel confident in leaving my vehicle there overnight. He keeps you updated every step of the way and advises of upcoming repairs, but is not pushy about them like other shops. Zach is by far the best mechanic in town!! I had been trying to figure out a light on my Yukon for months. I took it to Zach and he diagnosed the issue. He was able to fix the issue and my truck is back on the road with no issues. He listened to my concerns. He s very knowledgeable and professional. Took my daughters car to have some repairs done. I called Zack, he was able to look at the car the next day. He diagnosed the issues, called me back with an explanation of what needed done and a price before any work was performed. I had the vehicle back in a timely manner. My knowledge of diesel engines isn't as extensive as my knowledge for gas engines. Zach took the time to answer all the questions that I had and explained them clearly enough that I understood it. Zach always get me in quick with thorough work and priced right. I always feel confident in his work and he puts up with all my stupid questions and desire to see what he did/fixed/replaced. I always complain to him about the price (if it s $100 or $1,000 ) but I learned long ago you get what you pay for. There s no price one can put on piece of mind and honesty and integrity. Cannot give this place enough praise. Car broke down. In the middle of a cross-country drive with the dreaded flashing check engine light. I was able to have the car serviced and back on the road immediately. And the pricing was excellent. I wish this was my local mechanic shop.

I can't begin to Express how amazing the service is at Bignell Automotive. I had a list of problem wrong with my truck, some I was unaware of, I have a 2008 Ford F150 133,000 miles. Mr.Bignell was sure to talk me through everything and was very thorough to ensure the safety of me and my children while driving the truck. The customer service is phenomenal and the prices are very reasonable I plan or being a life long customer. Zach does and Awesome job and is very helpful in getting my 1999 Oldsmobile back on the road. His prices are so much better than the dealership and I know he is straight with me about the problems I can have with an older car. A local , recommended this shop to me, being new to the Terre Haute area from out of state I was at a loss as to where to turn for maintenance and repairs of my Infiniti and my Subaru I was pleasantly surprised. The owner/technician was very pleasant and listened to me and asked questions to get a full picture of what was going on and what I was asking for. He took his time diagnosing and then contacting me and explaining everything so that I completely understood and listened when I asked questions and continued with repairs and maintenance we discussed. He called as soon as my car was ready and had some literature for me when I picked up my car and discussed items personally with me as well. I have NEVER had a technician that was this patient, informative and genuinely caring. (And I have lived up and down the East Coast and Midwest!) His shop is meticulous and his knowledge is vast. I am so grateful for the recommendation that brought me here and just as grateful for the integrity of this Owner/Technician. I highly recommend this shop and I d drive from beyond Indy to use this shop!! He uses OEM parts whenever possible and his parts and labor costs are beyond fair!!
