Mike was very easy to work with and did a high quality "crate engine" rebuild. There was no detail overlooked on my Pontiac 400 - From the design and machining to the balanced final product and support he provided trouble shooting an electrical issue after install.

Don't trust Muscle Motors machine work! MM line bored the billet mains on my block. On the dyno the engine produced 500hp which was disappointing for this motor.The oil pressure dropping off at 4000 rpm. We separated the Oberg oil filter & found excessive bearing material in it We then dropped the oil pan to find 2 rods roasted. We then took the motor apart to find the crank was damaged. I was lucky that we didn't throw a rod thru the block.The Very talented and competent Doc Bilbury from Performance Specialties in Willow Springs NC discovered MM machined the mains out of round causing the oil clearances to disappear. Doc skillfully repaired and lined bored the mains again. After rebuilding the lower end again The motor pulled 650hp on the dyno. The fix wasn't cheap or quick. Performance Specialties is were I should have started and You should too.
