This place is AWESOME! I broke down on a Sunday night (before a Monday holiday!) and these guys towed me that night. They fit me in between appointments on Monday and had my car ready for me that afternoon!Such courteous service, reasonably priced, and though I never mentioned to them that I was having problems with it I suspect they also fixed my remote, because it s unlocking the car consistently now. Though I live in Indianapolis, I m making Wray my go-to shop! :D

Knowing next to nothing about cars except basic care that needs to be done, I was always concerned that I couldn't find a garage that would do what was needed and able to explain why. I never felt taken advantage of and I'm secure with any repairs and advice on what exactly my car needs. Friendly smiling faces go along way as well. Personal and professional all the way. Can't say enough good things about Wray's. I'd recommend them and do! To anyone needing a trustworthy place to take your car.Lori Wilkerson

They have taken care of our daughter s car several times in the years she has been in college. They understand how to keep an old car on the road, balancing cost and safety. They are as professional and courteous to a young woman as they are to parents when calling to provide options for repairs.We had an issue with a part they used and they made it right and covered their previous repair fully under their warranty. You can t ask for better service than that. We will bring our next IU student s car here too.

I had an emergency brake issue occur. Wray s had been recommended to me by a friend and when I arrived as they opened to drop my car off the experience was great from start to finish. They were very communicative about cost possibilities and how long it may take to fix the brakes, I was very appreciative of that. I now have my car back and it provides great peace of mind knowing I was in good hands!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake replacement

My son is a student at Bloomington IU and 4hrs away. He broke is axle, and needed a repair. We first took it to another shop who quoted us 3400.00 , we had it towed to Wrays. Who repaired the exact same issues for 1850. Wrays kept in communication with me and never once tried to push repairs not needed on me. My sons car is driving better than ever for 1/3 of the price . I would recommend them , they are awesome . Thank you so much!!!

A local business with the most kind people.I ve taken my car here a couple of times, and have always been so satisfied with their communication and customer service. They noticed issues with my brakes that the last auto shop had messed up and are so responsive to all of my questions. I dropped my car off there not knowing they were booked for 2 weeks which was completely fine because I was in no rush. They had my car fixed within the next 5 days. Very Thankful

I was having car problems for some time before coming to Bloomington and when my car completely died, I called WA to have my car towed. They were able to diagnose my problem with the car, but I had already had the car fixed in my hometown and was not trying to pay for what I had serviced before to be completely replaced. Wray was very understanding, I was able to have my car stored there for 5 days without a storage charge while my family and I devised a plan to transport the car back home, and all I paid for was the towing fee. Very cordial indeed, and I appreciate the willingness to communicate not only with myself, but with my family and the shop that serviced my car.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Highly recommend Wray Automotive! They provided both the tow service and the repair for my old vehicle that wouldn't start after the winter. Very friendly and professional. Gave me a direct and honest assessment of the work and price before hand and completed the work in a very expedited manner with the costs remaining the same as stated. Two very friendly dogs there to welcome you too. Amazing experience multiple times!Service: Auto maintenance

Wray Automotive is like Totally the best Shop ever . O. M. G. Like for sure ya know. Every time I call to try and set up an appointment at any other place they always say two weeks out . As if , No way . Wrays gets me in that week . Have me an estimate within hours as always at a very reasonable price . There Technicians are all knowledgeable and fast and friendly. You just have to like try this place out . There like Totally Tripandictular , Ya Know

Chris was excellent to work with and very informative on what needed to be done to my daughters car while she was at college. They fixed her car and and were so on helpful and polite. I appreciate all they did and how all around a great automotive place to work with. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing there car fixed.Especially if you have a child away at college. Highly recommend Wray Automotive! I had work done there on my subaru impreza yesterday (rear wheel bearing and hub replacement). It was easy to schedule and I got on their books quickly. The communication about the service from Chris was also top notch with the estimated quote. I was also impressed he was able to order a part they didn't have, get it in the same day, and have a same-day turn around. They also came in a bit below the quoted price from the subaru dealership, so that was a nice bonus :) Thanks Wray Automotive!Service: Auto maintenance

Wray repaired my car's control arm bushings (and other things) and suggested I replace a couple rotors and brake pads. When I said I would replace the rotors/pads myself, they unsolicitedly recommended the ones they tend to use (a good value for the price), which was nice. I drove my car on an 800-mile roadtrip the next weekend, and it drove great. When my gf had problems with her car a couple weeks later, I recommended Wray to her, though they didn't have appointments open. They were very kind to and accommodating for her, even though she went elsewhere for the job. They have my business!

My spouse took his car here twice. They claim to have fixed the problem and didn t. So the same problem occurred and he was told that his car was a piece of junk. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE! They are unprofessional and inexperienced with poor customer service skills. Mason Automotive fixed the problem that they claimed took 3 weeks in 1 day and didn t charge us over a thousand dollars to do so. Beyond irritated!!!!

My grandson is a student at IU he has a 2009 Malibu with brake fluid leaking we are concerned for him. He is stage one diabetic. We are concerned for him we live in greenwood. He has taken Uber to work at AVERS WITHOUT CAR.

Ever since I got a second opinion from Wray for $2k in estimated repairs from the Toyota dealership for my Prius, I haven't looked back. They provide honest and exceptionally prompt service. My check engine light came on last week at 4p all of a sudden while driving home, I called them while driving and they told me to come on over (the fact that they close at 6p is super convenient). Although they were slammed, they had the problem diagnosed and repaired in less than 24 hours. They take care of their repeat customers and work hard to make you a customer for the life of your car. I am currently an out of state student and hadn t been able to find a good mechanic that I could trust. That is, until I starting using Wray s about a year ago and now I wouldn t use anyone else. Everyone who works there is extremely nice, accommodating and really go above and beyond for customers. During my most recent experience, my car broke down about 40 minutes outside of Bloomington as I was driving home for the summer. The owner, Sam, drove all the way out there to tow my car back to Bloomington. Not only that, but he took me and my mom back with him in cab. He was so nice and charismatic that my mom developed a small crush on our drive back. This is a shop of strong values, amazing people and great work. Took my car in to get the starter replaced, and this was, hands down, the best automotive shop I've been to. Chris was an honest and all around pleasant person to talk to, and I felt very satisfied doing business with them. Every conversation over the phone and in person made me feel like they genuinely had my best interest at heart and weren't trying to sell me things I didn't need like other places I've been to. 10/10 highly recommend. I know I'll definitely be going here in the future if my car needs any additional work done because they run a very transparent and honest business.

Squeezed me in on a Friday for a brake repair I needed before an out of state weekend trip and did a phenominal job while managing to save me money on parts. Honest, hardworking small business that will act in your best interst. Highly recommend coming here over anywhere else. They will value you as a potential long term customer enough to outright tell you which repairs do and don't need to happen now, even if it means leaving a little bit of money on the table in the short term.Service: Brakes

Wrays automotive was very clear and communicative through my entire repair process, and when they found something else that was wrong with my truck, they gave me a call before repairing it. When they got it in good working condition, they gave me a list of other things they would recommend doing, with price estimates involved. We went to Wray for the first time this week to have our starter replaced and we had a wonderful experience! They were very friendly and helpful, got us in and out quickly so we could get back on the road, and were very accommodating of our budget. As a parent of a student in Bloomington, I was so relieved to find an auto repair shop that took care of my Son as well as any that I have locally. They not only diagnosed the issue, but also noticed areas of concern that needed to be addressed. They were very upfront and honest with their assessment, and the estimates were as fair as any I would have received from my own mechanic. The people at Wray's are awesome to deal with and very on top of their communication. The service was completed ahead of schedule and they were great to deal with. We are so glad we found Wray s. My son had been having issues with his vehicle while away at college. Wray s had been recommended from a friend/customer. The staff was so accommodating in helping us to get my son s vehicle in days before it was expected. Chris did an excellent job explaining the problem with the throttle and made us feel comfortable with the repair when we couldn t be there. He also inspected the car and let us know of other repairs that he recommended in the future without any pressure. My car ended up breaking down on me on my way home from work Monday. Was able to get it towed here after some recommendations from friends. They were able to diagnose the problem the next day (it got there shortly before they closed). They called me, told me what the problem was, what parts were needed, and how much it would be to fix. They were very good at keeping me up to date as to what was going on. I told them that I would need my car back by the end of the week, and they got it done by mid week. Told me that they were pretty booked up for the week, but were able to squeeze me in between appointments to get it done in time. Would definitely recommend this place and will for sure be going there again for my other vehicle needs!Services: Auto A/C replacement, Air conditioning
