I was shopping for my third Toyota. I had a negative experience with the a different dealership when I bought my RAV4 a while back. Not the case here. I was looking for a Corolla. Inventory is quite tight. Zach worked patiently with me and found a great solution without trying to pressure me. He took his time and sat in the car with me to explain the details. Best car buying experience I ve had in 45 years. Friendly, professional & knew the product he was offering. Excellent communication through the entire process.

My husband and I bought a used Highlander about a week and a half ago. We've purchased MANY vehicles in the past 25 years. We've met all types of sales people. We've met some that made us walk away even when there was a vehicle on the lot we were interested in.Dan Aiken of Royal South was truly a pleasure to work with. Zero pressure. He let us take the vehicle overnight to make sure it was what we wanted.He (and his team) also ensured we received a great deal on our trade in. I had researched plenty, and I knew exactly what amount would keep us there. He landed above that!There were a few things that needed to be done to the vehicle, and he made every effort to make sure that they were handled in a timely manner. He kept us updated with texts (including video and pictures) so we would know what to expect.The day we dropped it off for the small work, we also announced another issue we were concerned with.Dan did not have to help us with this. He certainly had already made good on his "we owe you" work. Instead, he made sure it was handled, and we left with our vehicle and owed nothing.Thank you, Dan. One month in to the new car and it's great! Gabbie and Zach made a great team coordinating my internet to delivery purchase experience. Entire purchasing process was very easy. Gabbie set everything up, got me my estimates and got everything to finance. Zach did a great job with the final delivery and getting and the new car rolling home. Great work you two! KEEP IT UP!

Felt at ease the moment we stepped through the door. I absolutely despise car shopping, but our salesman, Jacob, made the experience quite enjoyable. Felt like we were buying from our own son. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle.

We have been searching for a new 4Runner for the last couple months, and I came across Royal South Toyota, in Bloomington Indiana on Car Guru!We are located in KY, but Royal South had the absolute best deal within 500 miles of our location. I still was hesitant on traveling 4 hours when we have a local dealer, but that when Salesman Dan Aiken absolutely closed the deal. He was not only professional, but down to earth, and a blast to work with. No nonsense, let s make it work for both of us type of deal. If you re searching for a new Toyota, there s only one place to go, and one salesman to ask for! ROYAL SOUTH, ask for Dan!! You won t be disappointed. Make the trip. I ve been searching for my dream Tundra for months with some disappointments along the way because dealers didn t understand the obligations that come with being active military. The other dealers would sell the truck underneath me despite filling out paperwork. Found my 2014 Tundra Platinum thru Car Fax and was contacted by Mr. Long (via email) and Ed (phone/text) shortly afterwards! Ed was super communicative and even spoke to me about the truck (positive and negatives) after he was off work. Royal South made the whole process simple, pain-free, and worry-free. They shipped the vehicle (to North Carolina ) within hours of finalizing the paperwork. Glad I found this dealership. Would recommend- especially if you re active duty like me.

I would first like to acknowledge the great personal care of which I was treated in searching for a brand new vehicle, I have never had a brand new one.A friend of ours told us to call Royal South in Bloomington. I did call and spoke with a gentleman named Dan Aiken. He was very kind, considerate, and very caring, as well as interested in listening to what we were searching for. I explained to Dan that my husband and I had been looking for quite some time and no where had what I wanted unless it was a used vehicle.Dan jokingly said well I didn t go to the right place. Dan took the time explaining to me that right now they were having troubles getting a Toyota Sienna and that was why there were none anywhere we looked. One thing that stands out to me was Dan took our name down and told us that as soon as he heard of any vans coming in he would be in touch with us. I seriously didn t feel I would hear from him as I had lost hope in finding one. I was truly wrong Dan continued contacting me throughout possibly a monthor so before telling me he would be having 3 brand new ones coming in. I was super excited and asked him what color he was getting in. One was a Windchill Pearl, I asked him to please put my name on the white Windchill Pearl one, but I really wanted to tell my husband first as I had always wanted a different color. He told me to call him back within the next few minutes as he had so many people wanting a Sienna. I called him within 6 minutes and things started rolling quickly.He told me that he would let me know the day my van was being made, when it was put on the shipping truck, and when he would receive it. He did not disappoint at all! I received all those messages as he promised. He was one of the very best salesmen I have ever dealt with. Very caring and most of all considerate of my wants. I would recommend my friends to come there and ask for Dan over anyone at any given place! He was the VERY BEST!!!Of course I m sure he would say I bugged him a lot by calling him so much since I was so excited and impatient, once I knew I was finally going to receive my van. LOL Now I would like to express this, everything went well up until I had to deal with the financial guy there at your company! His name is Scott! Scott was quite rude, disrespectful, and not very nice!! He was not happy that I chose to finance my vehicle through my personal bank and not through his financing. I brought him in a cashiers check for amount of vehicle I was buying, when I handed him that check he kinda slammed it down on the desk and quickly wanted to explain the papers to me and have me sign them. I would try to ask him a question and he was very short with me and rude. Not wanting to explain my questions. I asked again about something he was wanting me to sign and explained that I wanted to talk to my husband first as he was not with me. He told me I had to do it now or pay more money! I told him I thought all he cared about was getting more money from me! He said sign the paper! Royal South I have to say this that your salesman Dan was absolutely wonderful and highly recommended! But your finance guy Scott needs to find a job where he does not deal with people. As he was not nice at all!I later on possibly a month later called your service department for a situation I wanted checked out. Your service department was outstanding in looking over my van and taking great care of me. While I was waiting on my van, my salesman Dan had walked past where I was sitting he just happened to see me and I waved at him, he came in to say hello and ask how I liked my new van. I did not expect to see him at all. But that again showed me he truly cared about his customers. Great job Dan! Highly recommended!Thank you Dan for all your help and time dealing with me. I had an excellent experience at Royal South buying a used vehicle from Zach Bird. All of the staff were very friendly. I didn't feel pushed or pressured in any way. The entire process was fairly quick and they made it easy too. I would definitely recommend this dealership

I called Royal South about the perfect truck I was looking for. I was able to come in that same day my sales representative (Zach Bird) did a great job engaging with me and discussing the fine details of the Tacoma I wanted. I could not recommend Zach and the rest of the Royal South team any higher, they provided me with outstanding service and an amazing buying experience. I am very happy I chose to buy with Royal South and highly recommend the experience to everyone else, it all starts with a phone call!

Wow! 5stars is not nearly enough to describe the wonderful experience we have had with our sales representative, Sal Mora in the recent purchase of a Toyota vehicle. We are located in Tennessee and due to the increment weather purchased our car on line which could have been an involved and frustrating experience. Sal handled the sale from start to finish and did an amazing job! He is extremely attentive and competent. I would absolutely recommend him for any of your car purchase needs. We will definitely come to him for our next Toyota purchase!!

So I walked in earlier this month, looking to get a Prius with some down payment but not that great of credit. Unfortunately my first trip there wasn t that productive, however, as the weeks went buy, I had a feeling I might get some emails with price reduction, which they did. So I emailed back that if you guys can get me approved I will come in. It s important to note I increased my down payment a little as well. However the second time around things were different, being a former Fleet Manager myself I get how things roll, so this time it was closer to the end of the month, I had more of a down payment. I re communicated that the vehicle was for my business, and was completely fine with my payment, and I get into finance with Ryan, and he informs me my apr dropped by 8 percent due to it being under my business. I was overwhelmed and just so thankful. Really appreciate all your hard work guys! Zach, you did an amazing job finishing up the deal with Sal! Really appreciate you both!

Recently my previous car totaled by a deer, and when I was looking at other cars I choose Royal South Toyota. They had a 2014 corolla for sale and was certified. And with my insurance payout, I was able to get it. During this process I was working with Zach Bird, and not once did I ever feel pressured into anything or buying anything extra. I even got money off the total price of the car as well. I was even allowed to keep the car and take it home early. This happened on a Saturday after the banks closed, and since I was paying in full with cash from my settlement I had to wait till the bank opened to get the money for the car. So they allowed me to take the car home early and everything. It was so helpful, especially considering I had a lot to do that weekend. All in all, it was a great, smooth, and hassle free process.

The service department at Royal South Toyota is top notch. We only drive Toyota vehicles and this is the place to keep them maintained. Last summer we drove to Anchorage, Alaska and back in our Tundra. I had zero concerns about the maintenance as the mechanics at Royal South had gone over it and made sure it was ready for an 8,000 mile round-trip. Yesterday I was in and Maria went over everything with me as some regular wear-and-tear issues had come up. All got repaired at a cheaper cost than I anticipated. And another technician paired my phone with the truck, so now I have hands-free capability while driving.

I can t say enough great things about this place! This is my third time buying a vehicle from Royal south. Dan has been my man every time and always came through with the best advice. He s knowledgeable, encourages you to do what s best for you, and goes above and beyond to make it happen! Ray on the finance side also goes above and beyond to make the magic happen with the numbers. Very personable and genuine. These guys know your name when you come in and always make a point to make you feel welcome. I ll never buy another car from anywhere else! Best group of people in all of southern indiana!

I have had several negative experiences and will not go back to Toyota South in Bloomington.Andy, the manager, will doubtless attack me, highlighting certain things and omitting others, as he did previously. Perhaps he will also again send me unprofessional , angry emails in response to my honest, frank review,, and call me names.My first negative experience was when I went in to have a headlight replaced, which on a Prius is much more challenging than other cars. They quoted me one price verbally, then noted that it would be a little more complicated and take a little more time than expected, but they did not, as far as i knew, quote me the higher price they ended up charging me. The lady managing the garage insisted she had told me about the higher price, but I certainly did not hear it, and she produced nothing in writing.I was determined to never to take my car back there, but another local mechanic told me there was a problem that only the dealer could address. So I took the car back in, and once again, two different people verbally quoted me a price to have it examined, in the $85 range, whereas when finally I pulled the car into the garage they had me sign a paper that listed the price at $122.After having them inspect my car, theToyota mechanic and the shop manager said my Prius hybrid battery was dying even though there were no signs or symptoms of it. They said it could just die suddenly at any time, without any forewarning whatsoever in the way of poor battery performance. I've now been assured by two other foreign car mechanics, one of whom ONLY works on Priuses, that that is not how it works, that there will always be signs that the battery is dying and it won't happen all of a sudden... And I was told by the second (Prius-only) mechanic that this is what many Toyota dealer repair shops will do, in order to squeeze more money out of youAs I proceeded to shop for a new car recently, I repeatedly bumped into people (a bank employee, other Prius owner, a neighbor, a colleague) who,I discovered, have a negative view on the Toyota Royal South as well. I never solicited these opinions; they would simply tell me, when I said that I like Toyotas, that I should avoid the Toyota South shop. Of course I would concur.Again, I am simply relating my honest experiences. Andy will try to attack my integrity, but God knows I have spoken the truth here, and if Andy wants to set the record straight, perhaps he can begin by OPENLY STATING WHETHER OR NOT THE HYBRID BATTERY SHOWS SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF FEELING BEFORE IT DIES -- which is the issue here ..... because other very experienced and knowledgeable mechanics are telling me that Andy's shop misled me in this issue.Andy calls me a liar; are those other mechanics liars as well?

Service department is good, although I couldn't say anything about their sales department. Their service is relatively quick, and waiting room with free coffee is spot on. I prefer this dealership for service over the one near Columbus.

Jeff and the collision center staff at the dealership are fantastic. There have been a few issues that happened out of their control. They made sure to take care of it. This is the second time I have gotten my car fixed. They know I'm a fanatic when it comes to my car. I only ask for perfection and the nail it everytime. If it's not perfect they take care of it. I couldn't be happier with their work. They have an amazing hangout area for the customers...

My wife recenectly took the Rav 4 in for it's 45,000 mile service. It seems the oil was changed, the tires were rotated, and the alignment needed a tweak. All great service at the surface. However, the technician (Jerry Pardue) noted the wipers needed replaced. We paid for them, but it is quite clear those parts were forgotten. Yet, we were charged anyway. It would be easy to pop in and have them replaced, but I live more than a 45 minute drive away. The service department (Andrew Wishart) is refusing to ship the new part, pay for my time and gas for a round trip, or any resolution without me spending my time and my money to fix their quite simple mistake. I even offered to ship the old wiper blades back at my own expense if they send the new part but they refused! They are going as far as to say I am trying to just get a free part. Really!?!?! I don't really want to write this review let alone get a free pair of windshield wipers by harassing a semi-local service department (*sarcasm* seeing how I already have a new pair *sarcasim*).*BUYER WARNING* -> Make sure they actually do the service you pay for before you leave the dealership and don't expect them to correct anything later (probably okay advice no matter were you go honestly)*Update!* I was able to connect with Sam Meyer and discuss the situation. I sent in a video and pictures of the windshield wipers and he promtply sent a new set to my address. I'm switching my overall review to 5 star because Sam corrected the simple error in the end. I apprecaite his support and glad Royal South Toyota was able to resolve this issue. I will be returning for more maintenance in the future. Thanks Sam!

I always have a good experience at Royal South Toyota! I bought my 2019 Tacoma there and I service it there! Andrew and Mike were great and my Tacoma has never felt better! Well done!!
