Recently had my brakes replaced at Flextune and they ran into more issues with the repair than they anticipated. However, I could not be more impressed by their emphasis on quality control. The mechanics clearly take pride in their work. I am so appreciative. Thanks guys.

These guys are amazing. Jeff and the crew bailed me out when my old Corvette had some electrical problems, and did the brakes on my Altima. So grateful to have them in town.

We have been taking our cars to Mike and his crew for many years. I am so happy to have such a great mechanic. They have helped us to decide when it was time to replace our cars and gave us great advice on which ones we should get. I find Mike's insight and expertise to be extremely valuable. They do great work, they are fast too. Usually have the work done in one day unless they can't get a part. Very reasonable prices. I am always quick to recommend them anytime a friend is looking for a dependable mechanic.

My 2005 AWD FORD FREESTYLE needed rear struts and a new computer system after 120,000 mi. The car was well cared for and garaged. Flextune was the only shop with the No how and endurance to make this repair. Discontinued rear Struts were near impossible to find and computer had already been formerly mis diagnosed. They are local and determined to get you safely on the road and at a good price. This is a private company with serious integrity.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Auto brake repair

Feelin like I have found the mechanics that I can trust. No high pressure selling, just educated suggestions on what to do to keep my car safe. Clean, organized, calm environment.I will continue using them after several hits and misses with others. They were recommended to me, it was a good recommendation.

Flextune is a great place. I own several cars for my company and they keep me running! Love these guys they will take care of you for sure. Mike always gives you options and is very trust worthy not to do things that don't need done! Been with them for 10 plus years!

Flextune.....I have been doing business with this group for years. They don't play games. They do the best work and educate you on issue. They have always been professional and respectful. I now drive two hours for them to work on my vehicle because they are dependable and do quality work. Will never let any other business work on my vehicles. Mike and the crew are great.

A Bloomington local recommended these boys to me and I m so grateful! My van had a power steering issue and Meineke quoted me a large price with several parts that needed replaced. I had Mike at Flextune check it out for a second opinion, and he said the Meineke diagnosis was inaccurate - several parts Meineke told me to have replaced were totally fine! So I had Mike work on my vehicle, and they fixed me up for a very reasonable rate. Definitely recommend.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Been going to Flextune since the days when it used to be called bloomington discount car care. Mike, the owner, is friendly and more important fair.I'd say they are a also honest, which is key. Price is fair and the work is good. My entire family takes their vehicles here. I guess it's been over a decade now that I've been taking cars there.

They replaced my wheel bearings that were rusted on. They did a quick job at a very reasonable price. I will always take my vehicles here in the future. They did break my ABS sensor in the process, but was an easy fix for my husband.

Avoid this place. Service has gone downhill. Their attitude is the worst. The recent work they did on our cars was subpar. Engine lights would come back on after a day of service and they never take responsibility. Mike is super condescending. He thinks he can talk his way out of a bad job, blaming a million other things besides his staff's performance. The lady who works at the front desk is awfully rude and has zero interest in showing any type of customer appreciation. They are not trustworthy. This town is full of car shops, I would suggest you pass on this one completely.

Go-to for repairs. I've been going here for years with repairs for multiple vehicles. From oil change to transmission work and engine change, they've gotten it right for me. They keep me apprised on recommended repairs and any sense of urgency. I follow their suggestions and my vehicles are running fine. I think they are reasonably priced. Give them a try.

Mike got me in one evening at 5:15 to replace my alternator. It was fixed in less than an hour and cheaper (and better quality) than any place I had found or experienced in the past. I will definitely be back. THANK YOU.

My most trusted mechanic friend recommended flextune for jobs he considered over his head, and I'm glad I listened. Not only do they seem to really know what they're doing, they also had the best prices and didn't try to sell me any BS.

The only place in town I trust for them to not screw me or my car over. They explain everything about your car if you ask them, has access to the cheapest parts, also if you buy parts yourself they only charge labor. Learned alot from them. But they are religiously pushy and suggest not to bring up the topic of religion with them.

I had some fits over my car and they were able to get me in quick at a very reasonable price, not to mention I am allowed to bring my own part for them to work on the car. Friendly staff, and I now have no issue with my car thanks to their quality service.

Made an apt. During the week it was set for Saturday. I explain my situation and this was the only car I own I raise 3 kids on my on I have to b able to get to work n my kids back and forth to school . Guy was real genuine said ma'am if u bring your car in early Saturday morning I'll get it done for you by Saturday evening .I was ecstatic on how understanding and willing he was to help me......... UNTIL ....... I called to check on the vehicle around 8:30 am they hadn't looked at it yet. I figured that.. but I wanted to make sure they received the key I placed in the dropbox. I call back around noon. They still don't know he says . I call back at 3. Keep n mind that they are supposed to call you before fixing it to make sure you have the funds. I'm thinking by now something's wrong with the car or they have started n I don't know how much it would be to fix.so at 3 when I called back the man says I've called you 4 times and your mailbox is full. I had no missed phone calls and my mailbox relieves messages.....so they tell me it's to late to fix the car today because we couldn't get a hold of you. The man on the phone was very RUDE blaming it on me because I give them the wrong number. He had a bad tone a demeanour. Very upset I said I would be there to pick up the car shortly. When I get there I ask the man for the envelope they have u fill out your info on when putting a key in the drop box. I knew I had written the right phone number. When I point out to him that I had indeed given them the right number he was upset. Saying this isn't my fault I can't fix the car today . Rude as could be. Then says let me get my boss. Please do. As he comes out and I mention it to him he tells me it was a mistake there's nothing we can do about it. Reminding him of what they had told me . Names on both of their shirts was Mike. I would NOT recommend flex tune to anyone . You were both cocky. Your office was out of order. And kno one knows how to read numbers. This business is not ran professionally and you have bad communication skills . Save your time go somewhere else.!

Mike and company always do a great job. They worked on my 1999 Acura Integra. I take my newer Kia for oil changes. Highly recommend Flextune.

Honest service that understands you're not made of money. Super fast. Just got another car that needs work and I'm not chancing it with another shop after the service I received here.

Mike is the most honest mechanic in Bloomington, in my opinion. He has always fixed my cars quickly and the service costs are extremely fair.

Cheaper brake change than pepboys. They don't have actual appointments so it's a little frustrating to drop off your car all day but they are super helpful when I call

Flextune is the only place I take my vehicles. They will not do unnecessary work, and they are significantly cheaper than any other shop I've been to, and they always provide quality service
