Adam, Lloyd, James and Gary are all incredible guys. The whole crew over there is wonderful!Repairs are fairly priced. The guys are all honest, kind, and very good at explaining the work.Auto Choice is a professional, service-oriented local business and I ve been coming to them for repairs, auto advice, and service for 10 years! I recommend Auto Choice HIGHLY. I once went to another chain/corporate garage for a major repair (timing chain) only because they offered 0% interest financing. Long story short, this ended up costing me almost $16k and I didn t have a working car to show for it. Expensive lesson. I haven t gone anywhere but Auto Choice since.I can t recommend Auto Choice highly enough!

My son attends IU and his older car needed an urgent repair. The nature of the repair made it impossible for him to drive the car home and have our usual shop work on his car.Trust is a big issue when choosing a repair shop.The team at AutoChoice Service was professional and thorough in making their recommendations. They advised what repairs were urgent and what items could be delayed for the time being.Their quote was fair and detailed. The job was completed on time.I highly recommend AutoChoice.

Lloyd and the guys are great! My wife and I were unsure about finding a repair shop, and after reading the reviews, we decided to give AutoChoice a try. We took a car we were thinking of buying for a pre-purchase inspection and already liked the service from the start: fair prices, transparency, and clear communication. You don't feel like you're being taken advantage of at any point (unlike many other shops). Today, we brought in another car for some inspections and repairs and once again received excellent service! It's our go-to place in Bloomington for repair services! They really deserve the high reviews they have everywhere. We highly�recommend�it!!!

I trust these guys implicitly. They got my car in, diagnosed, and fixed in under 3 days.Update: Lloyd and Adam stepped up and got me a part within hours that Advanced Auto Care told me would take 7-10 days to get. And unlike Advanced, they stand behind their work. They save the day! Again!

Brought my car in thinking it was burning oil, because that s what Jd Byrider told me. They fixed 3k worth of things within a week. So glad I decided to get a second opinion, will definitely be going here from now on since I know now they take my warranty! Also fixed whatever was causing it to pull to the left, Bell Tire couldn t even do that. 10/10 recommend.

Adam and Lloyd were so helpful. My car broke and I had to tow into their shop. They were responsive, professional and fixed my car within a couple of days. So happy I found a reliable place to take my car for repair. I will definitely recommend Auto Choice to all my friends.

I highly recommend this auto service center, they are professional , do a great job and are courteous and honest. I took my 2015 Volvo in for yearly maintenance and service and I m confident in the work they did . I give them an excellent rating.

Took care of me when I was 60 miles from home with an oil leak and they were closing soon. Lloyd said Don t worry. We ll take care of you and have you out of here tonight. Also gave us a deal on the labor.

Auto choice is a good honest garageThey have taken very good care of my 05 honda accord.With their computer upgrades they are giving a complete overview of everything known about your vehicle.Like health of your battery, how thick are your brake pads, tire wear, etc with pictures of any problems to increase transparency so u know they r not trying to sell u work u don't need.The $100 diagnostic fee is worth every penny they leave no stone unturned.

I have been a loyal customer of auto choice for years now. I can't recommend them enough. Really willing to work with people and give me advice that's best for me, not their business. I have been screwed over by mechanics in the past, and this is not one of those places. I ask Lloyd if I can tip him every time I go, and he says no every time. The people here are just so extremely helpful, honest and fair. It's a good mechanic for people like me who don't know anything about cars.

Not impressed. Adam was nice and tried to help resolve my concerns with wait time and low coolant after a flush but I was already an hour and a half away with coolant so low I wasn't willing to risk driving it back to Bloomington just to get free coolant. This was after Lloyd told me I could only get the coolant from them or a Ford dealer which was absolute BS. Either Lloyd is ignorant or he assumed I was.

You guys...yasss. I asked Reddit and some other folks for a REC for a place to which I could take my lil lady for a check up. I requested someplace they felt were honest, affordable, etc. you know...the dream. Well, lemme tell ya- I had a lovely experience in there- everyone was nice, I didn't feel out of place, being the only gal in there, nor did they treat me like I've been treated at other places (like I'm an idiot). I drive ride-share in my spare time and wanted to make sure the lil lady was doing okay after being driven hard these past three months. Their repair/maintenance recommendations weren't unrealistic and I feel good about going back for these things. Atmosphere: it was comfortably warm, didn't reek of rubber, fuel or smoke, there was a tele on so it wasn't deathly quiet. I spoke with two gentlemen pretty much the whole time (I hope I wasn't a bother, Adam (wink emoji)). They were both VERY nice and engaging. The appointment ended with a clear explanation of the bill and maintenance suggestions. Oh, and a few minty chocolates. It was an enjoyable time, actually.

Tried to get my car aligned, but they inspected my car instead. I get back and they tell me I need control arms, a wheel bearing, and my brake light switch is bad; no alignment performed. But they didnt even call me to ask, if they should do the alignment, which is all I wanted them to do. Will not be taking anything back there...

I have a custom built car that has mostly Subaru parts. Repair shops all over Bloomington IN refused to work on it because they lacked the interest in doing anything out of the ordinary repair. Even specialty foreign auto repair stores wouldn t even look at it. Someone told me about AutoChoice and the work they did on their custom built car. I called and they agreed to look at it right away. After having it for two days they had diagnosed the problem and repaired the simple thing that was keeping it from starting(faulty battery cable). Replaced the part and charged a very reasonable fee for repair. I can not say enough good things about Adam and his staff at AutoChoice. Your car is really easy to work on was the quote of the day. Some of the nicest guys in town. I can t rave about them enough. They got my car in fast, got it looked at, fixed, and back to me within the day. As a young college student I often find that auto places try and take advantage of me. Here they treated me with respect and clearly explained everything that was fixed. They gave me an itemized list of the all maintenance and charges as well. I definitely will continue to be a customer here!

I'm very thankful to have Autochoice as my trusted mechanic for all of our vehicles. Their prices are fair, services performed are always well explained, and the quality of work is always top notch. Best example of an honest shop I've found in Southern Indiana.

Great place to take your vehicle. I called Monday and they had me in on Wednesday. I arrived about 15 minutes early, and they were ready for me. One mechanic checked over my vehicle, diagnosed the issue, gave me his personal opinion on how to deal with it, and sent me to where I needed to go. Front desk was professional and very thorough. They didn t charge me a dime even thought it took about 30-45 minutes of their time. I had previous work done there about 2 years ago, and it was the same as it is now. These guys are great. They let me know I didn't need my front brakes replaced just yet, only the rear brakes. They informed me that there was a recall issued for my SUV that I would want to get set up with the dealership and printed the info I would need to do that. They told me about other things that could be issues for me down the road and estimates on those issues. They have Definately earned my business and my recommendation ! Thank you guys!!

Adam and the staff are FANTASTIC!! They diagnosed the problem quickly, called me to discuss the plan, and then proceeded to fix the problem, immediately!! Adam and his crew are wonderful! I had minor repairs that needed to be addressed and they did so quickly and carefully. Adam explained to me what I needed to know about my car and even walked me to the garage to show me exactly what had been done. Two other customers were served while I was at the shop and he treated them both with the same kind of professionalism and excellent attention to detail. Great bunch of guys ! have modded car and had stutter at wot they did vacuum test and live data test on car could not find problem so they didn't even charge me ! Most shops would have charged least hour labor.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

This place is fantastic. They inspected a used car I was planning on buying, a 2014, from a dealership. They found bake problems, rear seal is leaking, and a rodent had made a nest and chewed some stuff up. $2000.00 worth of repairs. Whew I walked away thanks to them.

I had an emergency that required me driving 1,600 miles to and from the east coast. Last minute I called the Team at Auto choice to see if they could perform an inspection to make sure I was in good shape to travel so far. They were able to squeeze me in last minute. Not only did they accommodate me, they performed a full inspection that uncovered that I was dangerously low on transmission fluid. So low in fact that their could have been significant long term damage had they not caught it. I love my car and I love this place! 10/10 These guys ROCK!!! Oh, and their prices are definitely easy on the wallet and well worth the service provided!

My excellent experience with AutoChoice has made me a customer for life. I was quoted a very reasonable price for them to replace my alternator (which they told me wasn't having any real problems but the battery light was probably being triggered by a malfunctioning diode and I wanted to replace it because I wanted to know when my alternator had a real problem in future.) As they began the replacement, the team at AutoChoice found a rodent had chewed through the wires of the alternator connector so they decided to replace that first to see if it fixed the problem. It did! I am incredibly impressed by their honesty, fairness. and integrity (and a bonus is they saved me a lot of money).I had the opportunity to talk to the owner when I picked up my car and expressed my appreciation for their honest work and he said that their perspective is the golden rule: to treat others as they would want to be treated. That's an incredible philosophy for an auto repair shop and one I can proudly stand behind as a customer.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I love AutoChoice! I first brought my car there when it needed transmission work (not many shops seem to do that kind of work). I've stuck with them since then. They're incredibly friendly and personable, which immediately puts me at ease. They also never make me feel annoying when I ask a bunch of questions--cars aren't my thing but I like to get better understandings of what's happening, but I tend to need it laid out plainly (since, again, cars are not my thing). They're always patient and explain things in terms that make sense to me.What I love most about them is that they keep it real. I never feel like I'm being hustled for money. That's huge when it comes to mechanics, you want to be able to trust what they're saying and get honest ideas of what's absolutely needed, what can wait, and what is just not worth it based on the car's condition. I can't recommend them enough!

Excellent repair shop. They saved us from spending thousands of $$ when we called for a second opinion after thinking the local Toyota dealership was taking advantage of us. Over the phone, AutoChoice helped us consider alternatives to a massive repair for our van, then properly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and we even did elective repairs at less cost than the local dealership originally quoted!. Auto Choice were easy to work with, got our car back to my son in great running shape and we can never say enough about our experience. Great job AutoChoice and thank you for being there!!!

Auto Choice IS GREAT! I took my car in for making a rattling noise. Lloyd called back in a very timely fashion & told me the noise was a loose bolt on the heat shield, which they fixed FREE OF CHARGE! I have been taking our vehicles to Auto Choice for years! They are definitely the best Bloomington has to offer. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of car repairs!Service: General repairs & maintenance
