I was very impressed with the awesome service (I usually am when I come to the store..)the manager, Jim, was very kind and went out of his way to help me with not only information - but went out to my car and explained in detail what to do next, what he thought the issues where and it was really nice he took the time- I am not the greatest with my vehicle knowledge and how everything works, but he was patient, way more so than another auto parts store I had went to previously.

NOT FOR CAR ENTHUSIASTS. I went there today to pick out some cleaning products for my car. No came to help me for 20mins and they had no clue what a sealant or glaze are or the difference between them. The employee who checked me out made me feel dumb for not knowing that there is water available at car washes in bloomington and made it seem really evident that he was uninterested in helping me out. Don t go here if you re looking for cleaning supplies and information on it.

Terrible customer service.Parts are always around 1-2 hours late.Compared to other parts store there is no communication when parts have arrived or that they have been delayed.Would no recommend.Orileys I will say has never let me down.

Very user friendly crew and they had the stuff I needed in stock...but I did get the last of it. I let them know and they'll add it on next incoming delivery. I'll certainly be there again.

Stopped in Saturday to buy a replacement bulb for my car . Told the cashier my type of car and that I needed a bulb for my bright lights . Turns out she had sold me the wrong bulb so I stopped in yesterday after I got off work the cashier acted as if me returning the bulb was a utter inconvenience not only that he was extremely rude the whole time I was in the store.. made the comment to his coworker that I didn t know what I needed that he had to look it up like it was such a hassle ( when I clearly told the cashier the previous day what I needed I never asked for a halogen bulb but needless to say I took a picture of the headlight so there wouldn t be anymore confusion before I even went in the store ) was rude during the whole refund process then acted like I had wasted his time when I informed him that I couldn t buy the correct bulb until the refund cleared on my side . I m sorry u work in customer service there was no need to have an attitude with me or act like I was a huge inconvience. Next time I ll go to o Riley or even Walmart before I go back to advance

Staff treated me very disrespectfully. They told me I didn't know what my vehicle needed and that the part number that I got from the original part was wrong. I went with what they suggested since they were being so insistent and was then harrased for picking the wrong part when the part number that I had originally come in with was right all along.

So I called to see if they had my part and they said they did have one in stock but then I drove all the way over there to find out that they couldn't find it even though their computer system said they had one. I guess I should have just stuck with AutoZone like I usually do. So y'all may need to have them actually FIND the part and be LOOKING RIGHT AT IT before driving all the way over there wasting your gas

Went in to have my mothers battery and alternator tested after having a dead battery. I was greeted immediately upon walking in. The gentleman came right out and tested everything and even gave some sound advice on something different he noted that she should get looked at! This location I was met with employees that were fast, knowledgeable and polite. Recommend!

Probably my #1 go to parts store. I just find their app and in store shopping to both be the most user friendly. Love the layout of the stores and love their selection of parts and tools.

Went there Monday night to have the cel checked my car. The overweight lady, didn t catch her name, went out to the car to run the scan. After she ran the scan and it came back as a part I just replaced. I told her I just replaced that part and asked if she could clear the code, thinking it might need reset. She said absolutely not! And stormed off. I later learned that they re not allowed to clear codes. I wish she would have informed me of that rather than the attitude. I ended up going to another store, had a great customer experience, and got my problem resolved

I needed a battery .got a new one they put it in for me. Even when my warrenty ran out 2 months before that. That didn't even charged me for the new one. Thank God cause I didn't have 220.00 for an new one.

They were great, very friendly and extremely helpful. I needed oil in my car and one of the employees was kind enough to put the oil in my car for me. It saved me from having to stand out in the cold doing it myself. Thank you guys for your help.

Always good help here. They may have also saved us a couple hundred dollars by telling us our battery had a slow drain and not a bad alternator like Autozone reported. We are investigating that problem before we go back and buy parts. Thanks AA!

A quick shout-out to Advance for friendly, helpful, and honest service. I took in a battery that has required a jumpstart twice in the last two months (probably owing largely to sitting idle most of the time), fully ready to purchase a replacement. The staff person tested the battery, reporting that it tested fine, and then gave me advice on how to improve its performance. I know where I m going when I *do* need to replace the battery.

Please keep hiring more people like Mr. Jeff! We came in with either a bad alternator or battery! He gladly tested it out. It was simply a battery. After our purchase he even helped us install the new one! Talk about great customer service! You scored a good employee with this one! Please treat him right!!!

Mr. Joe was very helpful! He took the time out of his day to install my hhr battery. I really appreciate all of his help!! He also provided great customer service and explained everything that was needed to get my car up & running. I highly recommend this place!! My family thanks you, Mr. Joe!!!

I was in desperate need of a new battery. Jeff was so nice and so informative. He came out to my car to double-check that I actually needed a battery, and not a new alternator. I ended up needing a new battery. He suggested what kind would work for me. I know it's their job there, but he installed it for me. I really appreciated that. He was very fast. He stuck around to make sure that my car started. I recommend this place to everyone and Jeff is super awesome. Always ask for Jeff!

Best place to go!!! Bought a car battery and Jeff was more than happy to take out my old one and put the new one in. And when my car didnt turn over, he checked the battery to see it was charged, it was. But realized my starter was damaged. Jeff hooked me up with an awesome mechanic that came too me and used the part that I bought to replace the old one. THANK YOU JEFF AND EVERYONE ELSE made me feel welcomed while I was waiting

These guys are great! We have basically been rebuilding a 1994 GMC suburban and despite not knowing the sizes or part numbers for most of anything, we were still able to get everything we needed. Even when we had mistaken the manufacturerand had to take parts back. All-in-all it was a good experience.

Best parts store in Bloomington. If you're looking for knowledgeable staff and quality parts for a reasonable price look no further. Had an excellent experience with the salesperson Trey. He had all the answers I was looking for and saved me a ton of trouble as I had misdiagnosed my problem. Can't say enough good things about this company. A++

It always takes super long to even get anything there. Don't even try calling in because they'll never have it ready. You got four people working there however only one person's running the check out. With six people in line waiting. Then when you go to show up and pick up something that you called in they don't even have it ready. Then you're waiting in mind the whole time to actually find out that they haven't even got your stuff yet.

They definitely have no idea about what they are looking for when you go in and ask even had the old part with me and still was trying to tell me it was an air conditioning system part that cost 100 bucks I took it off the vehicle and it was a cooling system part better off to go to O'Reilly or Napa

Absolutely recommend this store at the 3rd street location!!! Had a Dr appt for my son at the pediatrician on landmark this morning, needless to say I had a dead battery on my gmc terrain and didn't notice until i was trying to head to Bloomington and was already running a little late. I was completely worried that: A) we weren't going to make it too the appointment bc I would have to stop and purchase a battery on the way -or- B) I was going to make it to the appointment but when we went to leave, we were going to be stranded in the parking lot without anyone to help get my car battery jumped (for the 2nd time today mind you)I called this store and Jeff was so nice when he told me just to go straight to the appointment for my year and a half old son and that if indeed my battery wouldn't start after the appointment was over, he or asinine from the strike l store would happily come down and help me out. I felt so relieved and reassured that I immediately felt the need to post this review. You guys are awesome and I appreciate you!! Great customer service!!!

Truck broke down in the parking lot this week and had to get it towed unfortunately.. But to make things worse someone stole my center cap to my left rear wheel. Not the easiest part to find due to the age of the truck. It is however a very sporty popular truck. So popular that even one of the employees here even has one. Prolly just a rare coincidence but who knows good and ugly people are everywhere. This situation has caused me to question the honesty and reliability of the employees at this current branch. So in the future I will not be taking my business here
