Not coming here again. The prices are absolutely disgusting. And store isn't clean as well as the self check out cashier is pushy especially when items are ringing up stupid prices and u ask them to remove that item because I refuse to pay 22$ for tiny bags of chips. Asking random customers for their rewards even after I stated I will not pay 22$ for a cardboard box and may 5 chips in a single bag. Absolutely not okay to get other customers involved in my personal transaction especially a men i never met and when I have kids with me is an absolute a big no no!!

I am shocked at the way my groceries were bagged today. I usually don't have problems with my pickup orders, but today was the exception. My bread is mashed. My chips are crushed. The bags of canned goods were overfilled and they ripped.

Do not go here if you are in a hurry! I walked out and left my order at sitting at the self check because thier system decided I couldn't count the whole 8 items that I was purchasing and the person working the self check lanes was to busy talking and laughing with her co-workers to come over and and fix it so I could pay and leave.

This place is basically kroger. If you are used to buy groceries from kroger and can't find any in Bedford, this is the place.

There was a sign above the gift cards that said 4X the fuel Points . So I bought a gift card. Looked at my receipt and I wasn t given 4X the fuel points. Went to customer service and the person behind the counter talked with someone and was told to give me the points. When she was ready to do it this extremely rude person, she was front lead, came over. The customer service person told her what she was doing. This woman instantly became very rube and said that expired. I pointed to the sign and she said That should have been taken down . She would not give me the points and she was holding on to my card. I had to tell her to give me my gift card that I paid for. Right away she found someone to take the sign down. I was at the store on 3/4/23 at about 3:30.

The deli workers are confused, lazy and mouthy. The cashiers are slow. Food over priced. The sea food is in an open area full of flies.

Not the best prices but not the worst, nice selection, clean store. Most of the employees are very pleasant, some just kind of ignore you. They have really cute seasonal decor.UPDATE 1/16/19I have found that about twice or so a year, I boycott this Jay C store due to poor customer service. Last night, I had a small cart of things, and as I was approaching the check out an employee exclaimed to her coworkers that the doors needed to be locked and no one else was to be allowed inside. I immediately assumed the worst! Turns out, their register system had gone down and the lady informed me that it would be at least an hour before it would be back up. I asked if I needed to put my things back and she said that yes, I would need to do that.My complaint isn't that the system went down: it happens. I am more disappointed with the fact that she didn't take responsibility and tell me, as well as the other customers, that THEY would take care of returning our items. Instead, the lady, who I assume to be a manager of some kind, just barked at employees and ran around frantically. Again, I get that technology fails, it happens: but when your job is in customer service, they way you handle such an event should revolve around reassuring the customer, not freaking out. The staff seems to be in need of good management.

Absolutely hate the way they do the deli department,form a line at the cheese counter,and wait 2 hours until that one person is working gets a chance to get to you,while 2others are walking in and out of kitchen,or deli area totally ignoring customers,I've not noticed one employee look up at customers and say,hey I'll be with you in a moment anything!! If you want to sell those products then teach your employees to recognize what a customer means to your business to their jobs!! Dairy has gone down the hill also just sad!!!

Changed hours from open to midnight back until 10pm. That knocks out second shift workers like myself from being able to shop during the week. Not good for the community. Even Walmart closes at 11pm. Guess we have to order our groceries online and have them delivered now. I called about it to express my dislike. No sympathy for their actions at all. Definitely will be loosing my money and many others.

We love our Grocery Pickup here at JayC! Sherry is fast, friendly and always does her best to pick items as ordered! My little guy loves Sherry and tells her so every week, she is a good sport. One reason I like grocery pick up is I don t have to stress out about the deli interactions I would have if going in store. I do love the meat department and the cashiers are always friendly and helpful!

I appreciate it they still pack your groceries for you. they even offer to take him out to use the vehicle for you as well. That is hard to find anymore at a grocery store. The cashiers are always fast, friendly and courteous Great discounts and savings! We really love the Friday and Saturday only Rewards!

Each time I come to shop here, it seems like they're understaffed. The store is generally messy and kinda dirty, and you'll find products just scattered throughout the store in no particular order. When you go to check out, expect to spend at least five minutes waiting in line, even in the smaller lanes. Even though Jay C would be more ideal for quick trips due to its size, I'd rather go to a competitor for a better overall experience.

Great grocery store! Always available and helpful staff on the floor and in the deli. Quick and courteous help at checkout and bagging. Also has self checkout available if that is your thing.

I wish the onions and mushrooms were better. Every time it never fails. However, Bedford Jay C currently has the nicest store manager they have ever had!!! I do wish they had more sales on things like half and half and whipping cream. Also, it seems like the beer is never a good deal. Customer service counter needs faster service. I'm always waiting forever.

Prices are higher than all other stores. Hamburger was suppose to be $2.99. Not on sale so went elsewhere

This is an ok grocery store, sometimes they sell out dated food. So make sure you check dates! I dont like some of the night shift workers. The teenage males have been Exceptionally rude to myself and my kids. I avoid going past 9 p.m now because of them. Never had a problem with any of the females the guys are just jerks.

Almost every time I visit, a CSR at the pharmacy named Linda Roll waits on me and she is such a super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable person to deal with and a major asset to your company. If not for her, it would just be a routine visit, but with the aforementioned qualities that I me tioned and a smile always on her face it goes above and beyond all of my expectations. Not trying to take from anyone else there but she stands out! Thanks to your company for having such a wonderful person.

They need to be enforcing proper face masks for there employees. Some are wearing them incorrectly which you can't watch them all the time. The others are wearing bandanas which are not effective or dust covers/ neck sleeves which actually make it worst then not wearing a mask.

My last time going to this location. Counted 4 employees not wearing masks. And a number of the other employees with their masks pulled down below their chins. If they don't want to follow the CDC guidelines then I can't support this location. It's just as bad as Walmart.

Very dissatisfied, all coolers were out. Very little meat and what was there was very high in price. No dairy either! You would think an electric problem would be an emergency and fixed right away. Not impressed with the store at all!

This entire store has been moved around, so if your looking for a quick in and out its not going to happen. It looks nice but make sure you have time to track things down.

Store is ok but i have had a few issues ..one then never have there grinded meat there they always have out of state meat which is nasty and dont grind well last time my gf got some before we started cooking it the meat smelled of death and made me gag so the was 9 something and some change waisted.2 not everyone likes flaky biscuits so ift would be nice if you stocked regular biscuits as well as flakey and 3 it would be cool if you had the same deals as kroger since you are owned by kroger

Just stopped in for some pasta salad, didn't have my favorite kind, lady suggested another kind.Tried it ,liked it! Picked up a couple more items,too. Over all a successful visit.

Like Jayc Plus, the, 'plus' to me is getting points for gasoline, and they have good sales also, but the lady pharmacist, Linda makes my day, she is an inspiration, precious and the same goes for Avril, how blessed to have two such sweethearts in one store and I so appreciate the carryout, think his name is Brown...

There is a bit of turmoil as the store renovations are still underway. They staff remains as friendly as always. Anxious to help make your shopping experience enjoyable.

Strawberries were 3 lbs for $5 which is a great price, but couldn't find an angel food cake anywhere in the store. Everything else was outstanding.

I hate jay Cs. It never has the coffee i want. I like hot italian sausage by krogers and thay only carry sweet or mild and the vigo red beans and rice thay don't carry any more"why"?

Sadly not following rules of covid restrictions. Not only putting employees at risk but us customers as well. Will not be supporting/shopping at this location in the future!
