I would highly recommend Bedford Auto Cline!!! Great service at a far price. They replaced my engine with a new one in a timely manner and at a great price! Gave me great details of what was wrong and many options I could choose from. As I have come to expect Ted at Bedford Auto Clinic did an excellent job replacing the front struts on my F150.He provided an estimate that was clearly explained. Due to corrosion concerns Ted included additional items that may need replaced as well as a precaution. As it turned out Ted was able to complete the repair w/o requiring any of those additional items.The final bill was less than estimated and the work was completed quicker than estimated as well!Bedford Auto Clinic may not always be the cheapest option but I have never questioned their knowledge and quality of work.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Bedford auto clinic had the best quote in town for tires for our shop! He gave us recommendations on the life span of the brakes and when we should change them as well as pictures to prove it. Megan the girl at the front desk was super sweet and worked with us awesome! Customer service. Quality work. Solid warranties. We will start our oil changes there as well.Thanks again!Service: Tires

I have had a horrible time getting an issue fixed with my car. It s been going on for a year, and I ve taken it to other shops in Bloomington repeatedly.After a suggestion from a coworker I decided that it may be worth the drive to Bedford to try out Bedford Auto Clinic.The receptionist was so kind and patient with me while explaining the issues with my car. The team even sent me photos of the issue with notes about why the problem was happening and what they could do to fix it!So far, I have yet to have my reoccurring car issue come up again. Thank you for being such a caring team! Even more so, thank you for your honesty on price and how long my issue would take to fix! I was able to plan accordingly, which makes an already stressful time much easier!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This was my first experience with Bedford Auto Clinic and I can say without hesitation that I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were upfront, honest, got me in right away and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Their customer service is top notch and since it is a lost art these days, how refreshing is that!?!? They provided options for the repairs needed which saved me money and lots of it. They have secured their spot as my go to mechanic. I have a lowered car with roll bars under and needed a starter installed. They did an amazing job. So many places turned me down because the lowered car. They were able to get my car on the lift and had it done so fast that I hadn't finished lunch yet. He put the key in a secure lockbox so I could pick it up after hours, as I have a 3rd shift schedule. They sanitize everything, leave a detailed note on what was done and what all was cleaned, and are extremely kind and knowledgeable.

I don t often write lengthily reviews unless my experience with a business is far beyond expectations. I recently had my truck worked on at Bedford Auto Clinic. From the moment I called in until I picked up my vehicle, my experience with BAC was incredible. The customer service business model BAC has put in place is found so rarely in any business especially the automotive repair industry. Andrew was the representative I worked with from the beginning to the end. He did an exceptional job going through BAC s services, listening to my issues, and assuring me that my truck would be in good hands. On top of diagnosing my known issues, they generated a report of additional issues they found with the truck (which included pictures so I could see for myself),. The report also included things to watch for that could be upcoming repairs as well as the parts and functions of my vehicle that are operating well. You actually feel that this business cares for their customers! They not only say it, they prove it. To top things off, when I picked up my truck after hours, I retrieved my keys and invoice from a lock box which also, to my surprise, contained a checklist of the items they CLEANED AND SANITIZED in my truck. The interior of my truck looked amazing when I opened it! Oh, did I mention the chocolate bar left in the lock box too? Yeah, I had one of those and they left a second one for my fianc� who I had included in the conversation with a post it note saying here s one for her too . Wow. From the detailed online report, with pictures, to the thank you for your patronage candy bars when I picked up the truck, every bit of my experience with Bedford Auto Clinic was spot-on 5 stars. Like I said, I don t usually take the time to write lengthy reviews, but this business deserves it! My truck is running great and I am happy to have found them. PS. This has been one of my better experiences at an auto repair shop. They looked at my car for free, usually 60 or more for an inspection anywhere else, and after they were done they sent me a summary with pictures of what they found. It was a little higher than expected for my repair, but they were able to help me out with financing, and all the work carries a two year warranty. I am very impressed with their level of professionalism and the care they took to explain what was wrong amd how to remedy the issues my vehicle was having. I will continue to use their services. Thanks again guys!

They do make sure you are aware of any problems they just charge double what a dealership would.not impressed.1000$ for maybe 2 days work is ridiculous. I took my suv bc it started shuddering btn 10-20 mph and btn 30-40 mph. I took my car to the dealership and the svc dept found nothing wrong even though I knew different. I took my suv to Bedford Auto Clinic and didn't say anything about my suv having a new transmission within the past 6 months. After a detailed inspection, I found out I needed another new transmisson. I knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. I had a good experience. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and wrote down everything that he found wrong. The problems that I brought the car in for were addressed and the car runs great now. Price was pretty steep but you get what you pay for. I took it to another place in town and came away with the same problem I took it in for. I'm very satisfied with Bedford Auto Clinic.

Service was good. Mechanic was friendly. There was a misunderstanding regarding the price that was a little concerning. When I came back the service was good and the price wasn't bad considering they had to keep my car for 3 days figuring out and solving the problem. It was a complicated problem and I was off so it was ok, but the next time, I'll have to make sure they understand the whole problem so I don't have to leave it that long.

My car was towed there a few months ago only because it was the closest car care center to where my car broke down. I showed up after they had closed but the mechanic was still there and we were able to discuss the plan. I was frustrated before I met him, but felt a sense of comfort after talking to him for only a couple minutes. The employees there were knowledgeable, trustworthy and up front with all my car care issues. Simple outside appearance, but a nice clean garage. I have not had any car issues since, but plan to return for my car care.

Not the place to go to, for electrical issues. Two trips, $3,000, and my car is still doing the same exact thing. If I paid them $450.00 to replace the left front wheel assembly, the traction control sensor would stop indicating a traction control problem. That was replaced, and the sensor was still going off. "Your fog lamps will work now", nope. " And on and on, and on. We rewired your entire upper and lower dash". And yet the stuff in the console right below the dash never moved. The repairs would cost a fortune, last a couple of weeks or months, and then as soon as it rained, the dash would start indicating problems. The check engine light stayed off for all of two days before it came back on. Do not go here for electrical work at all.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I first waited three weeks for an appointment scheduled for November 8, 2021 to which I delivered the vehicle to them early after obtaining permission to do so through "Andrew". The vehicle was to receive service for a intermittent noise coming from the front of the motor. A review of this issue revealed it was likely the timing belt and tensioner which was relayed to "Andrew" prior to scheduling the appointment.I was informed that since part of the work had already been performed they could not do the work as requested due some undescribed "liability". They further informed me that a motor replacement would be a better course of action and that they could perform that work (engine replacement). I was then later informed that they ONLY deal with Jasper Rebuild motors and that they claimed to not have any of this engine available. I asked if I could search for another engine provider and "Andrew" would have to check with the owner regarding that "liability". Andrew texted me (did not call) to inform me that this too would incur too much "liability" and the they couldn't perform the work either.I was left with the expense of returning my vehicle after relying on Bedford Auto Clinic to make the repairs they stated they could initially perform. At this time I could only recommend Bedford Auto Clinic for a possible SIMPLE oil change if it didn't cause them any "liability". If "Andrew" tells you they can do something get it in writing before you waste your time with this place.

From the perspective of a woman:Calling to make the appointment was easy. I received a text reminder of my appointment ahead of time. The waiting area at the shop is welcoming, clean, and comfortable. I felt respected and heard by the polite and professional staff. Once an assessment was completed to pinpoint the problem I received another text containing a link to tell me what needed fixed along with a follow up phone call to answer questions. The customer service is above and beyond any other place I ve been too. I never felt intimidated nor made to feel incompetent. Most importantly they fixed my car.

Really awful experience. Brought my car here to have them take a look at my drive train issue. Got charged a very high diagnostic charge. I told the guy if it cost too much don't waste the time because its not worth that much. Instead they gave me a bill for 5 times the value of the car encouraging me to fix random things that weren't worn. Charging a premium for things that were.

I went to two other shops and a shade tree mechanic before I came here. Out of all of them BAC was the only place that could diagnose my car correctly and got me fixed and back on the road promptly. My car left the shop and drove straight to Gatlinburg TN and all the way back. I don't know that they are the cheapest around but after you waste so much time and money at shops that cant get it right you might as well just take it to them and be done with it the first time.

The 1st time I went to this place it was minor the 2nd time it was terrible They don't return your call they pick and choose the work that they can make the most money on Be very careful when choosing this place The reason I didn't come up on your computer Was I explained That the 1st time it was my wife's Dodge intrepidthe 2nd time it was with my town car which you refuse to even look at because you said the parts wouldn't be available but I had already found the parts You never did call me back you're just posted this review Thanks again

From Illinois, was left stranded in Bedford due to transmission issues. They looked it over and gave me an honest, cost effective evaluation to base my repair decision on and they worked with me regarding getting my vehicle back to lllinois....definitely recommend this shop
