Will not communicate with customers, act completely dumbfounded by the actions of each other when pressed. Julie acts dumbfounded every time I called and blames everything on "him" and when speaking to Scott Gaines acts dumbfounded that Julie is telling customers incorrect info. Contacted another wrecker service to come and bring car home. Scott Gaines drove by multiple times and even felt it was appropriate to point and laugh as the other wrecker was collecting the car.On Friday 06/19/2020 dropped car off around 4 p.m. had confirmed that the car would be dropped off at that time with Julie earlier in the week through text. Once there, no one was around so I texted the number for Julie this time no response. So I then called to ask if I just needed to drop the key in the drop box. Mind you hours of operation are until 5:30 p.m. and like I said no one was there. When speaking to Julie she told me that the car would be looked over by Monday 06/22/2020. When I called on Monday 06/22/2020, was told that they would contact us back with an estimate. On Tuesday 06/23/2020, I texted the number again no response. So on Wednesday 06/24/2020, I called early afternoon which Julie told me that the car was being put back together and they would have a quote within a few hours. So after I got off work 3.5 hrs later, Julie acted dumbfounded that "he" did not contact me with a quote, and said she would contact us about the quote. After a hour with no call, I proceeded to call back this time to Julie barely able to speak due to reception, but could make out her shortness stating that "he" would contact us when he's ready. At that time I just went with my wife to get the car. Once there had wife call Julie to advise we were there to get the car and wanted to have someone come meet us to get the key. Also the car had not been moved since I dropped the car off on 06/19/2020. Once again this was during regular operations and no one was there again. Julie shows up and proceeds to not be able to find the key as they are not labeled. Once the key was located, I got in the car started it up and while proceeding to back up from where I pinned in, the car dies at the end of the drive. Car will not start and Julie continued to walk up and info me that Scott Gaines is on the way. Mind you only referred to him as "Scott" at the time. Also proceeded to tell me that even though she stated that they were putting the car back together earlier, that "he" was unable to start the car so it hadn't been looked at. So I continue to try to start the car until Scott Gaines shows up and then acts dumbfounded by my description of Julie's actions. He did help me push the car out from in front of the establishment trying to convince me to let them look the car over. Of course, I decline all attempts as I am just fed up at this point. I contacted another wrecker service, and noticed that when the wrecker showed up Scott Gaines passing by multiple times, and proceeded to point and laugh in a way making it known that it was he doing it. Will not ever recommend services from this company nor will I ever contact even if stranded will wait longer and pay more for another wrecker crew before ever considering Hometown Towing again

I was driving from Indianapolis up to Granger and my car started having troubles. I Googled nearby auto repair places and Hometown was listed, so I called them because I wanted to know if my car was even safe to drive, and even though it was after hours, a really nice guy (Jeff) answered and told me to bring my car there and he would look at it for me. I got there and he figured out what was wrong with it, made it safe and drivable for me to get to Plymouth to get the parts I needed. He even called and connected me with who to speak with when I got there. Jeff even gave me a tool to take so his contact could put the parts on my car when I got there. And after all that, Jeff didn't even charge me! What a nice, genuinely caring guy! You can't find that at chain auto shops! I'm so glad Google led me to Jeff that day. He made a scary, and inconvenient car problem go as smoothly as possible and kept me safe.Thanks Jeff,Mini Cooper Indy girl

Extremely efficient. Lost a tyre due to a pothole around 11 30 pm in the middle of nowhere near Argos. These guys promptly helped, towed the vehicle 70 miles north and charged me a fair rate. Scott who towed my vehicle was super nice. These guys deserve a 10/10 and a big thumbs up. Thank you for all the help last night :)

Had my truck for 4 months still not fixed. I was quoted a 12 hr. job. I've paid over half the bill, been told lie after lie by the mechanic & the owners wife. I call they don't return my calls. Should have never taken it there.

The owners of Hometown went out of their way to help me while I was stuck on the side of the highway. Mike also took his own time to help me fix my car issue.I would highly recommend Hometown.

Our truck happened to break down 0,3mi away from them and when we realized the coincidence, we could only have the same relief we have now driving home with the truck fixed. This weekend, we were lucky!

They replaced my upper & lower ball joints and the bolts came undone plus I almost wrecked now they won't put a new one on for free all because it wasn't there part still point is the bolts shouldn't had came undone even if they put there own part on

They did a good job. Prices are fair. Didn't have to wait days for the repair to be done.
