UPDATE: (04/02/2024 The repair that Rodgers broke, they told me this morning that they would charge me to fix what broke and I paid them $1685. This is reprehensible, Like I said previously in my opinion I would find a reputable repair shop to do business with. If you go here and to shake hands with Reed or Ron count your fingers after you shake hands. Buyer beware................... .In my opinion I would not trust these guys. In my opinion I would watch out for Ron, if you shake his hand count your fingers after. I spent $1685 for a repair at this service center. I need tires, when I picked up my car they gave me a quote for $130 a tire. My car has a lot of miles and I wanted a cheap tire. I called Ron on 3/18/24. He was VERY short and could barely talk with me. I asked if he could get a cheaper tire, that Walmart, across the street, had tires for my car at $61 each. Ron said he could call me back, well I am still waiting for the call back, this is just plain RUDE!!!!!!!! In my opinion I would not do business with these guys, there are numerous shops that would love to have your business.

Used Rogers to tow a semi truck to my shop. Mike at Rogers listened to my concerns with the tow. Rogers completed the job 100% to my satisfaction. Thanks again to the Rogers team

Loved my experience. Truck was in and out! The men were gentlemen and made me feel welcomed which is important for me. I don t do business with places who make me feel out of place because I am a woman. Straight forward and honest. I went in for an alignment check figuring that I needed an alignment done on my SUV. I've used Roger's in the past with my previous car, Civic. I trust Roger's with my car. Feb.2018, I had an issue with my caliper failing on my 2012 Dodge Journey. It caused A LOT of break dust on my rim. As soon as I walked in for my appt, one of the guys noticed the break dust and asked me how long it was like that. I told him the issue & situation. He said he'd see what they could do to clean that up. I am VERY pleased with how they took it upon themselves without me asking to see if they could do anything about it. Whatever they did was amazing as it looked SO much better than what it did when I brought it in for service. They truly care about their customers! With a little elbow grease and some paper towels this morning I was able to clean it up even more and it's much closer to being back to normal thanks to whatever Rogers did to help clean it up.

I normally do my own oil change but I needed my tires rotated so I went here to do it as it was the closest one to me and I just moved to the area. When I did my tires I also had them do the oil because it was due. Like I said I normally do my own so this time when I get under my car to do it (6000 miles later), I immediately notice that the plug bolt is partially stripped. I go to take off the plug and it is torqued on there so tight that no tool I own can take it off. Used a 3ft breaker bar and it still won't budge. Probably going to have to replace the oil pan. Oh and by the way, the car is a 2021 so it's not like it's some rusty piece of junk either. If they can't do the small things right, I wouldn't trust them with the big things.Services: Tires, Oil change

Roger's is a 1st class operation. My "check engine" light came on? and it died. It never died..Got it stated, went straight to Roger's. Reade handled it. They put the computer on it, got the codes, ordered the parts needed and delivered. The work is done and I can make my 3 P.M. appt. Thanks to all at Roger's for the great service! First Class all the way!

I recently bought out the lease on my Ford Explorer and I wanted to get setup with an established garage. I procrastinated making an appointment to get my oil changed. With only a few miles left before I needed a change, I called Rogers on Thursday and they had my Explorer in the next day. The service was excellent and the price was fair. They showed me a picture of the positive battery cable and how it was corroded. They let me know that my battery was low, which my wife had suspected. They did not try and pressure me into replacing the battery, which I appreciated. I did have the battery cable cleaned and a new battery installed. All of this was done in less than 45 minutes. Rogers has a new customer.Services: Battery, Oil change

The team at Roger's is phenomenal and I can't say enough good things about them. They are happy to go the extra mile to make sure you and your vehicle are taken care of. I have mastered the art of the review and I use them wisely. Unfortunately I had to use Rogers twice this year. First when I swerved to avoid hitting 3 deer on Russell Road in my 2013 BMW X3. That car was totaled and dealing with their professionals was exactly that, they were very honest and professional. The second time I ordered a new Goodyear Run-flat tire for my brand used 2016 BMW X3. Northwest Auto where I had always used in the past when ordering through Tire Rack did not have the capability to do Run-Flats so I went with Roger's. They were very congenial and the technician brought it to my attention that the rim was bent. I will definitely use their services in the future and refer others to their quality establishment.

On a trip from Oklahoma, we suddenly had an issue with our brakes. Luckily our breakdown happened right at the intersection where Roger's is located. These people couldn't have been more kind. They got us right in and solved our problem in less than an hour...and brewed us a fresh pot of coffee to boot! They didn't charge us an arm and a leg either! Wow! The people of Zion are very fortunate to have Roger Whitmore Automotive in their town! If you need a great mechanic, this is the place to go! Thank you, Roger's! You're the best!Service: Brakes

I personally know people who had great experience at Rogers and I took my car there upon those high recommendations. Sadly, beyond my first visit, my experience wasn't as fortunate.Took my car there because of a certain issue. They diagnosed it and fixed it. Went back a week later with the same problem. They charged me for diagnostic again (~100) in addition to the repair cost. When I complained, they took the diagnostic charge off.The same problem resurfaced another week later. The ubiquitous diagnostic charge (~100) showed up again in addition to more repair costs which were different from the first or second time. When I questioned it again I was told that they had to do internet research which takes time. I asked if they really knew how to fix the problem (this was the third time) and if not, just say so. They seemed to be offended by my comment.And when yet again the same problem showed up, I took the car to a different shop less than five miles away because my total bill at Rogers was already into several hundred dollars and there was no resolution to the original problem.At the second place the problem was diagnosed and fixed together with helpful advice to keep the vehicle trouble free. The service person told me that if the same problem showed up again, they will not charge me for diagnosing and would do the repair again.Guess where I take my repeat business (three cars) to the second shop.

Great asset to the area. Very reasonable and great work. Alignment on my truck and tire mount on large tires/rims was spot on. They did great work! The owner is very engaged. Anyone complaining about tow prices, doesnt understand the amount of money it takes to operate that equipment!

Rogers's Automotive has been great for me, I have trusted them with my car for over 25 years, most recently they have been there for me each and every time. They have also been honest and have saved me money. Amanda is just really great, always very sweet and friendly and the owner has been just great. All the technicians are friendly and respectful. I would give Rogers's 10 stars !! Thank you all you've been great. I trust and respect you all.

Roger s customer service is second to none! They pride themselves on excellent customer service and integrity. My family's experience with Roger s has been nothing, but positive. One Friday night while driving home from a work function I got a flat tire. In a remote location and alone, I called Roger s for a tow. I explained my situation to the dispatcher and emphasized the fact that I was in a remote location, alone and a little fearful of getting out of the car. Roger s was there within 15 minutes to tow my car and make sure I was safe.On another occasion my older son s car broke down during rush hour on Lake-Cook Road. In harms-way, no one stopped to help him. He called Roger s for a tow. Roger s got there as quickly as possible, towed my son s car and gave him a ride back to Roger s safely. My son would have been stuck in a dangerous situation for twice the amount of time had he not called Roger s. My husband, Terry and I highly recommend Roger s!

I brought them a tire (off the car) and a pressure sensor I bought elsewhere. They refused to install the tire pressure sensor because I didn't buy it from them. They wanted double the retail price I had paid for the sensor. I realize they need to make money, but they buy the sensor wholesale and charging double retail is crazy. They would still make money on the labor. You be the judge. If you are happy paying double for parts, this is the place to go.

At first had a good experience. Until i got home and realized that they put a hole in my tire and scratched up the rim. And im sure since i have already left they will either blame me or say that it was already there even tho they are brand new 400$ tires not even a month old. Not to mention the ridiculous pricing of storage fees

I can't say enough about this for service I received from Ronny here I am from 73 miles away and when a friend of mine had my car and it broke down near Zion, I was extremely worried about getting it serviced somewhere I have never done business before. Ronnie got my vehicle in at to their shop at a moments notice even towed it in for a very reasonable price And then communicated very effectively with me to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle.As you know Dealing with automotive repair facilities can sometimes be sketchy But not here. He explained everything that was wrong with my vehicle, even gave me a report of other potential problems but never pressured me to fix them at his place. They replaced my front passenger side front hub bearing at an extremely competitive price Even cheaper than my usual mechanic :-) also ended up doing front brakes while they had it there because the price was very reasonable. Leslie I told him that I had a problem with my washer fluid and didn't know if it was something simple or if the entire pump needed to be replaced Turns out it was only A blown fuse and replaced it quickly. He could have easily told me it was the pump and replaced it and I probably never would have known. Thanks for your honesty Ronny.It's not often that you find a place that is interested and providing superior customer service and building a relationship rather than charging you as much as possible.Just can't say enough about the customer service I received here. Excellent job!

I brought my truck to them last week and they said they have to bring it to the dodge dealer and I agree to it I thought transaction was done and I m ready to pay the tow since they can t fix it , listen to this.... Rogers said I will pay them after it s all done and pick it up here(Rogers Zion) I called the dealership if that s legit and the dealership whatever they Bill to Rogers they Bill to the costumer (that not true!) I got my bill 1,265.44 and the dealership billed them 771. Do the math for me including tow back and forth. I m sorry but this kind of transaction Is not acceptable this kind of pandemic going on. I m sorry . Sorry to my pocket. If I can give them negative stars I would but there s none!!

Roger's Automotive Service is a family owned car repair and towing facility that delivers top notch service at a fair price. I have been a customer and friend of Roger's for over 30 years, and have found him to be an honest business man who preforms quality work. I highly recommend Roger's for all of your towing and/or automotive needs.

The friendliest staff that you will find in the area. they were able to get me in fast for brake problems I was having that day and get it done for me while I waited. I see their tow trucks all over Zion so I figured they had to be reputable. Thanks Roger!

Roger and his crew provide outstanding customer service...he always goes the extra mile to make sure my vehicle is taken care of. He even came to my office to pick up my vehicle for me which was SO helpful.....and dropped it off when it was finished. Thanks Roger! You're the best!

I needed new tires. I bought them online & made an appt. I brought it in at my scheduled time of 8 am. And it was done and on my way at 9 am. Customer for life.

Rogers Automotive Services is a place to go if you want quality work and want to be treated like gold.Both my wife and I have taken our cars to Rogers and each time the work was done correctly the first time and on time. Rogers truly is why we like to shop our local business owners. Thanks Roger and staff.....you guys rock!

Integrity within an industry of thieves; Rogers group handles it all; electrical problems on my late model muscle car, simple oil changes on my SUV to complicated 4 wheel alignments.Custom exhaust work on my prized 3o year old German sports car. Cars are clean upon pick up, if you can judge a business by it's looks- this place is clean.Had to have my car towed they handled that as well. More lights on that truck than the runway at O'hare. Our office Manager need to be pulled from a snow drift last winter. They arrived fast, got the job done and even calmed her down before allowing her back in car.These guys have it going on.

Rude, overpriced, corrupt, and awful customer service. 300 dollars for a tow that was 7 minutes away.. I was taken in an ambulance, so the police called them and they take advantage of someone who couldn t make a call to roadside assistance due to a tongue laceration! Wouldn t recommend using their services at all! Look elsewhere!

Pretty sad operation. The people who run it oily look out for themselves and the people they associate with around Zion. I was told I was not allowed to have my shoes and clothes unless I paid the 400$ tow bill for a car that was totaled and could not be driven at all from and accident I did not cause and was not at all at fault for. Is this how you you make money by charging people for personal possessions? Such a shame you would treat your local people like this who made you what you are today.
