The best! Dukas Auto has always done a fantastic job fixing everything that has gone wrong with my car. They are quick, reliable, honest, and kind. I know when I take my car to them I m in good hands and they will fix whatever issues my car is experiencing and get me back on the road asap. They are good people and even though car issues can be stressful, I enjoy stopping in their shop because of the wonderful people working there!

This is a great place to bring your car for repairs. They are very knowledgeable and do the job right. The receptionist and the mechanics are friendly and answered any questions you may have. I highly recommend Dukas Auto Repair to all my friends.

Dukas Auto Repair is a shining example that you can have it all when it comes to automotive service; when my brother and I needed help getting my dad's old Audi up and running, the folks at Dukas came to our rescue. David and his team provided superlative quality, fair pricing, and extraordinary customer service.Even after we drove away and a few days later triggered a check engine light (by separating the key fob accidentally while it was still inserted), Dukas ran a diagnostic check and reset the code for us. Honestly, I felt like these folks were my family (the good kind--not the crazy kind!) and cared about my welfare.David even found a transport company for me to get the Audi moved 600 miles away. Zion is lucky to have a reputable, independent auto repair shop in the area.

I took my car here to be fixed, first of all, they fixed my car without notifying me of what was wrong with the car. I went ahead and paid for my car because it needed to be fixed but before you fix someone s car, you should call them and let them know the price and what is wrong with the car before you proceed. I recommend someone else in my family to take their car there. First they overcharge for fixing the car then they want to charge $400 for two tires for a little bitty small car. When we proceeded to go and get the tires ourselves at a reasonable price they decided now your car will be here another whole day. They are not professional at all. The owner was yelling and screaming at the customer. Then they proceeded to call the police which was uncalled for because all we wanted to do was pay for what was done and leave which we would have done if they had told us we couldn t leave with our car at the beginning. You Leave a review and it s not the review they want they delete it and have workers post reviews. I will better recommend anyone to go here again. Now we have to edit my post because no one threatened you because I was there and I also have video don t make me post video all over social media. Thank you have a nice day there s no need to respond because I will go there

One shop told me I needed a Catalytic Converter. Parts and Labor 1200 bucks. Took my car to Dukas for second opinion. They promptly had my car in for diagnosis. 2 Bad oxygen sensors on my 2009 Toyota Corolla.350 bucks in parts and a nominal fee of 72 bucks to install. Great service. Great management. The mechanic even took the time to drive my car to Waukegan emissions station to make sure it passed. Steve W. one of their mechanics with over 35 years experience . Thx guys you saved me a lot of money. Will definitely be back when in need.

I had to get an air team test before getting a new sticker, check engine light was on. I had bought a few parts for what I thought it was. They fixed the leak by tightening a loose clamp. They ran it through the air team and got a clean inspection. I was low on fuel so they put some gas in, because I thought they might have to drop the tank. They also gave me a ride home after dropping off the car. If you live close enough, they can drop off the car in the driveway when finished. Thank you David.

Long time customer because they are exceptionally good at what they do and offer great value. But most important, Dukas is absolutely trustworthy. I've been out of the area for a few years and when I came back, I called Dave at Dukas to resume his quality care and repair for the same vehicle he serviced previously. Just as before, Dave and his team provided outstanding services, with honest diagnostics and unbeatable pricing. I'm NOT leaving Dukas again! If you haven't had your car serviced there yet, you need to call Dave for your next repair or services needed!

This place is amazing for vehicle repair. They are very good at what they do. They are also very fair on prices for parts and labor. I have some auto mechanic skills and have done some of my own work on my cars so I know what parts cost and they are honest about the price for parts. There mechanics are honest about what needs to be done and what can wait for a certain amount of time and they'll tell you when you should come back for this or that and tell you the honest price for when you come back. They're exceptional. If you need work done on your car or truck I would drive over 100 miles to have them do it at this shop.

This mechanic shop is THE BEST! David was extremely helpful and informative. They offered transportation to and from my destination. I even received a text from them two days later to check on my car. Their customer service is top notch! So happy I have found a trusted mechanic for life!

My experience was great I would definitely recommend Dukas Auto Repair for whatever issues your having with your car. Mine was emissions. Dave was great i was able to pass my test get my sticker no problem.They explain everything clearly so you understand what's happening. I'm not knowledgable about cars,so they made it easy. I'm giving them a big thumbs up and 5 star's.Went to Dukas Auto Repair today to have a tune-up on my 2007 Dodge , as always my experience was great, very honest, and knowledgeable , they tell you exactly what's what. There's no messing around. I moved from Zion to Evanston , so it's a long trip but it's well worth it , the prices are very reasonable, and they have coupons which helps . I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.Tracy

I've visited this place for quite a few times already. Every time I was fully satisfied with the services rendered. A courtesy ride home if you were to leave the car there for some reason is greatly appreciated. The 10% discount to military is another plus for me. Honesty and reliability are exercised in this shop. The last time I took my Land Rover LR2 2010 to the shop was due to bad alternator. Dave gave me a time frame of when it will be done sure enough, he delivered. I'm happy with it! I give them a 5-star rating.Services: Electrical repair, Battery

Dukas has always taken great care of our vehicles. George Dukas is amazing at connecting with his customers. David as the manager is a great man and always looks for the best solution and always considers your budget. Dukas is great! We ve taken all our vehicles there for years. Staff are able to identify the issues and get them fixed from minor to emergency repairs and anything in between. They ve worked with us to get our vehicles in as soon as possible. They are thorough and follow up in a timely manner.

I've been going to Dukas for over 15 years, having more than 4 cars repaired. I've had great experiences, and I've had some interesting ones, mostly due to the cars though. David and the techs there have never come across a job they couldn't complete, and David has always been fair and transparent with repairs and advisement. You can can go anywhere else and maybe find good service, but with the folks at Dukas Auto Repair, you'll always get the experience you need!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Oil change

These guys are knowledgeable, honest, and fair. They do a wonderful job. We used them a lot when we lived in IL. We now live in WI, and we still cross the border to use them. That's how good and honest they are. We'd recommend them to anybody, that's how good they are.*UpdateWE stopped taking our vehicles here bc they weren't fixing the problem. My husband and I had each had a problem w our vehicles. Long story short, we had to take them both back twice and then to R&R in Kenosha, WI to have the problems FIXED! The younger guy w full beard seemed to be agitated on 2 occasions, and that didn't set well w us either. We have a total of 6 cars that would need servicing; anyone dealing w us will get good business. Our cars ages range from 2007-2015 and are both American and foreign. We want someone knowledgeable and personable bc it's a professional business. We're not fussy or hard to work with, but we want resolutions at fair prices, not more problems, AND being ungrateful for the business we bring. That's all.

My mother in law rolled up in here with both driver and passenger doors stuck shut with the seatbelts, she called Dukas Auto from the parking lot and like a night in shinning armor somebody came to her rescue. We have been using Dukas for a few years. We switched over to them when our old mechanic became unreliable. Dukas really goes above and beyond for their customers. If you were looking for a reliable mechanic that is going to be straightforward with you, this is definitely the place to go.
