They repaired my 2010 Mustang after a fender bender. It looks great. They are Great to work with and keep me informed along the way. They even fixed some other "dings" on the car.I highly recommend them for body work.Service: Painting

Highly recommended! Very thorough in their repair estimate after my auto accident. Worked well with my insurance company getting the estimate approved. They always kept me informed of repair progress. Finished product of the repairs was perfect - good as new. Honest people to do business with.as well as proficient in both mechanical and accident repair work. I can't say enough great things about Automotive Specialties. They are true professionals that handled my insurance claim quickly and with ease! All I had to do was put them in contact with the adjuster and drop off the vehicle. The quality of work is unmatched.If you are anywhere near Yorkville, this is where you should be taking your vehicle for repairs.

Automotive Specialties did an AMAZING job repairing the front end of my car. The staff is friendly and worked with my insurance company to make sure everything was taken care of. They even did follow up phone calls so I new what was going on in the process. I would never take my car anywhere else!

We thought they were a reputable establishment but they don t stand behind their work. They charged us a second inspection fee of $125 a few days after charging us over $500 to replace an AC line. NO customer service - STAY AWAY!UPDATE: After spending no more than 5-10 minutes researching and trying a few VERY SIMPLE things found on MULTIPLE internet forums, the AC works GREAT! This is after Automotive Specialties wanted over $800 and the car for 3 days. I stand by my original review: VERY SHADY!

I have been going to Automotive Specialties for many years and I highly recommend them!! Their work is top notch and their prices are very reasonable. Leslie and Rich, the owners, are just wonderful! Leslie is so friendly and always takes the time to educate me on my vehicle and keeps me informed about routine maintenance recommendations. I've been a very happy customer!!

I've gone to Automotive Specialties for a few repairs now: wheel hubs, transaxle rod, and now windshield replacement. I've been very happy with the price and the quality of the work. I took my 2005 Mustang there with rear quarter-panel and bumper damage. They did an awesome job repairing and repainting the damage. The paint is blended so well, that you can't tell there ever was damage. Their price was less expensive then other body shops, and I could get my car in right away.

The whole front of my car needed repairs due to being hit in an accident. I was originally going to take my car to a different body shop in Yorkville but the wait list was 3-4 weeks. Automotive specialties was the first body shop I called to see how long the wait list would be. When they told me they could start working on my car right away, I was so ecstatic. Rich and his team made everything so easy and gave me such a peace of mind while my car was being fixed. They did a virtual estimate so I didn t have to worry about waiting for an estimate from the insurance company. They care so much about their customers and their happiness. I had mentioned that I was planning to leave on the day they said my car would maybe be done by, and they told me they would update me by the end of the week to give me a status of my car. My car was started on a Monday and finished by Friday evening. I was so surprised to find out it was done so soon! My car looks amazing and brand new. I would recommend automotive speciality s to anyone in need of getting their car fixed to perfection.

Great place! Iv had body work done here a few times and they always did great work and made it happen fast. They've never gave me the feeling of being taken advantage of or dishonesty, which is a big thing for me. Leslie and the folks here are an asset for sure.

Automotive Specialties is where I take my vehicles for service. They are hands down the best mechanic shop we have had dealings with. Flexible, friendly and knowledgeable, but above all honest and trustworthy. For several years we struggled with finding a shop that would service and fix our vehicles, not cause additional problems or convince us to make an unneeded repair we couldn't afford. It wasn't until we found Automotive Specialties that we finally found a home for our automotive needs. We LOVE them!

I have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe with 207K miles and a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer with 173K miles. I trust Automotive Specialities with all of my auto care. Their friendly, knowledgeable and fast service not only keep my vehicles on the road but have extended the life of my vehicles. Allowing my family safe transportation without car payments.

Automotive Specialties is the best auto shop around! They treat you as though you are family. They are caring and thorough and do NOT try to sell their services to you. They are honest and sincere with your best interest in mind. I recommended considering them for any of your car needs!

I came to the shop to have them install a few parts. The serp. belt was no issue.They pointed out a larger issue that needed to be addressed. I was appreciative of that, but from there it all went wrong. They ordered the part, took apart the car and it was the wrong part. To which I had to pay for dis-assembly and assembly. Still needed the part and they ordered it again and the same happened. Instead of taking to small claims court which would cost more time and effort than it is worth I am letting people know of my experience. I took my car to another place in Plano, which I won't mention in this review, but they were able to source and install the part without issue and for cheaper. I am sure when things go right 95% of the time in repairs this company is professional and convenient, however it is the 5% which is the most important. From my standpoint it would be well worth anyone's time to take your business elsewhere.

I have used them twice now. Once for body work then for mechanical. They have been friendly, patient, efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful. It's nice to know I don't have to go far for quality service.
