Paul was highly recommended by friends. He is everything they said, and an absolute angel who helped me during the recent snow storm. I now have another car and will only be having it serviced by Auto Pros! Thx guys!

Auto Pros hands down the best shop in the Mchenry county area! If you want a shop that s professional and honest take it to Auto Pro! Job done right the first time. Daryl is a drop the mic type mechanic a Rock star! He takes pride in his work and is a true professor of the Automotive Industry. My wife has not drove her second car in almost a year. After he fixed it she parked the new one and drives the old one everyday. She said it drives perfect. Was going to sell it now it s a keeper. Thanks AUTO PROS ! Paul, Love all the way from Rockford.

I came to them in a very rough car situation and they were very honest, straight forward and helped me with understanding of my situation. Great guys! These are the only mechanics I will take my vehicles to from now on. Their honesty and willingness to help costumers with a great price and full detail of what they are doing to your car is amazing! They took the extra time to explain to me in full detail of what they were doing and why the price was that price! Amazing experience!!!Services: Electrical, Brakes, Battery

Another great visit at Auto Pros! Because of their thorough check of my traverse, they found that one of the brackets that holds the engine inside the car has completely worn out cushion. Thankful that they are so thorough and help keep me driving safely! Visit Paul and the guys! You won't be disappointed!

I've taken 3 different cars here since 2019. I originally went to them because they were close to home. Once I experienced their professionalism, courtesy and service I've not gone elsewhere. I've moved out of town and will still go with Paul and the guys at Auto Pros. Save yourself the time, hassle and likely some money and take your investment here.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Got some work done on my 07 Ram 1500 4x4 a little while back. The staff i talked to were friendly, and didn't force me to commit to any maintenance items I wasn't ready to at the time. They worked with me, got the work I did say yes to done efficiently, and I haven't had any issues with those items yet. Definitely will consider them for future work items on my pickup.

Auto Pros is awesome! When my car went nuts I actually posted on social media looking for recommendations because I am new to the area. I received a couple and they had the best reviews and of the couple I called they treated me so well just over the phone. They helped me every step of the way and kept saying to call back if anything was odd or seemed wrong. They seemed concerned about my safety. They helped me my tow I ended up needing even after suggesting insurance to possibly help save me money but it worked out better going through them and they took care of everything. They talked to me 100 times it felt like and were always so nice and helpful every time. They even worked hard to get me the best price. And they fixed it in record time and did a stellar job! I know I won't go anywhere else and would highly recommend if you care about your vehicles, your safety, and your best interest you should come here too!

My windshield transmission/ linkage on my 14 Chevy Cruze broke. I took the car into two dealerships and was quoted ridiculous amounts. I called many car shops and I saw auto pros on google and read the reviews, which all the reviews were good usually you get one review that is 1-2 stars. There isn't even a three star review from what I can remember. I made an appointment which I was late because I made the wrong turn somewhere. I got there 15-20 minutes late. Paul is who I spoke with on the phone as well as the person I dealt with when I got in. He got my car in right away. It's a very nice and professional environment. You can see the work being done on your car through the window inside the waiting area which is nice. They were very quick and right on time to what they estimated it would take to do the work and replace the linkage/ transmission for my window. While I was waiting I spoke with Paul who was a very down to earth person. I also told him about my other vehicle which the window got stuck and asked if he could raise the window since I couldn't afford to put more money out of my pocket since the holidays are coming. He gave me an advice for my vehicle and it actually worked ..thank god! I highly highly recommend this auto shop they won't pull you over and are very military friendly which is a big deal

Paul was great! Service was outstanding. He explained in detail about parts, options for tires, etc. I was happy with the price and repairs. Definitely my go-to place for car repairs, oil change, tire rotate, etc.

On the road from Canada. Had a brake issue that was misdiagnosed by another shop. Not only did Paul find the actual problem he fixed it the same day at a very reasonable price. It was not even the far more expensive problem that I had suspected. Friendly, fast, reasonable and great work! Was a blessing to find this place. The Google reviews do not lie. Go here.

My car gave out on me in Crystal Lake when I was up visiting family. The guy who towed my car recommended Auto Pros and I can see why! Paul was courteous, helpful, and runs a great business. I will be recommending them to my family in Crystal Lake for whatever car needs they have.

Have been a customer of Paul and Darrell since they had the Merlin's franchise. Without a doubt straightforward and honest. If the price is out of your budget, they will work with you to make sure you have a safe vehicle when it leaves their shop. In this day and age who offers to give you a ride home and back to the shop if it's going to take a while? Only Auto Pros, that's who!

I traveled to Woodstock for a local Obstacle Course Race from Minnesota. My car was making noises on the six hour drive so I called them early Saturday morning to find out if I could get it in after my race. They figured out the problems, got the parts, stayed late to fix it, rotated my tires for free, and helped me through something that was very stressful and could have left me stranded in a different state.While I was in the waiting room they were also helping another person in a crisis situation and they were so thankful they were almost in tears.Helpful, friendly and considerate.

Took my car in for inspection because I heard a noise. They gave an honest quote for my brakes. They got me right in at a fair price. Very friendly place

These guys got my car in right away and managed to fix the oil leak. The darn thing was leaking in 2 places, and if I would have let it go any longer, I could have had more problems. Great guys!

Know the owner Paul since his previous spot so since 2012 they have extended the life of my 2001 Subaru to 232000 as of today still running strong thank you guys happy holidays
