On July 4th, my young daughter, pup, and I blew our second camper tire while returning from a camping trip. Completely stranded and left to fend for ourselves by Progressive Insurance after not having a single claim for 9 years or ever with this camper, Trickey's responded with a semi to haul my camper while stranded on an overpass. The above and beyond way the owner showed up and personally assisted with every step. He provided protection with his personal vehicle until I could safely get my little family off the road. They then hauled my camper to my home where I was able to get it parked. Total time from call to delivery was around 1 hour 30 minutes. The driver was knowledgeable and very respectful. Their business model and example is one to followed and I for one am VERY appreciative for their quick response and incredible customer service.

Broke down in daughter's car with kids in the car. Called Trickys and they said someone would be their in 15 minutes. Driver showed in under 10 got us home very quick. He was very polite and professional. And the charge for the tow was very readonable. Would recommend highly over other local tow companies.

I can't believe this place has less than five stars. I had to use them twice in less than a week (two different vehicles), and they had everything fixed and out the door more quickly than any other service facility I have ever used. And their pricing is way lower than anyone else. I would highly recommend trickey's.

Visiting from Seattle. Car impounded Friday night, this damn location isn't open on weekends to get your car out - what the heck... Isn't this predatory since you'll likely be eager to capture storage fees you wouldn't let me get my car out those extra days

Had to pick up a car that had been towed from Roxanna and had been there for less than 2 hours. Thought the charges were a little excessive for a tow that was there for about an hour and a half. The ladies in the office were very nice and helpful.

They need to shut this trash pit down . These tow drivers and mechanics are racist and dirty. I would say typical but these deadbeats are literally bottom of the barrel . I know they are methed out. Got my car towed due to basically being in Mayberry after hours . Had to get my car the next morning and these lowly $12.75 a workers had the nerve to be rude then there was no trash can or bathroom as they make you wait . my friend had to vomit . She ended up going to the side of the building one of the dirty mechanics comes and tells her to clean it up . Terrible service , terrible people. If woodriver wasn t so small they should have been out of business a long time ago

I really hope nobody has to deal with this company. Such a rip off. My car broke down and I went to get a tire and while I was gone this company towed it. It was a Saturday morning so they weren t open to let me get my vehicle but charged an outrageous amount for the weekend storage fees. $525. I then told the rude lady who answered the phone that I don t have the money to get it out but could I come get my personal belongings. No was the answer I got. So I lose everything. It s not right. I then spoke to the manager. He was even ruder than the lady who answered. This should not be allowed and they should be reported to the BBB. I think that s just what I ll do.Service: Car towing

All the years we have used Trickeys to haul long distance for our trucks when they break down doing long distance business is not easy to find a good reputable company to get my trucks towed from the interstate to be Repaired. I do not know of any other company with this much over the road experience or that can tow legally through other States. Trickeys has always been.our go to company when our drivers are close enough to Wood River . From fuel tankers to Legacy cabinet trucks 18 wheelers depend on Trickeys when they are in that area. Keep up the great work!Services: Battery service, Special vehicle towing, Long distance hauling, Tire change, Oil change

The owners wife is Evil in my opinion. Ruder than anyone I have ever encountered. Mean and greedy. Charges $258 for a tow of 5 miles and then would not release car without having owner produce certificate of full coverage and proof of ownership. Created every obstacle to owner of car in order to get car to released to Star Farm so it could be towed to auto body shop thus getting 4 days of lot fees. They are Scam artists in bed with Local PD that called for tow after minor accident. Car was determined by Roxana FD to be underivable. Owner, male, is volunteer Fire Fighter for city of Roxana. Can you say conflict of interest? Run from this business. My opinion, crooked as a bag of snakes.Service: Car towing

One of the drivers almost hit my truck while I was driving with my husband and 2 YEAR OLD CHILD in the car. No turn signal. He didn't check to make sure he was clear to get over and we didn't have time to react except slam on the breaks before we realized he was just getting into our lane. Thank God we were able to break in time and my child wasn't hurt.

Hope you never get a car towed by these people. 383,00 dollars just to get car out of impound 50.00 add a day took two days to get out. Cost 483.00 scam. Should be illegal for what they do to people. I pray for the same to the people who own that place. And I'm being nice

i Had an issue with trying to locate some bolts that were removed during tow. The lady that answered was courteous and helpful. She contacted the driver and then called me back to let me know that he had given them to an employee. I think the customer service was good.

I called in order to request general information and the woman who answered the telephone, even though she sounded very enthusiastic, was very short with me and even hung up on me before I could finish speaking. With work and loyal customers being so hard to come by in this day in age, you would think that business owners would work a little harder at making sure a new, potential customer is satisfied before ending a conversation. I do believe I will stick with ERNIE'S WRECKER SERVICE (most pleasant telephone conversation of the morning), Allen's Tire and Wrecker Service or Paule Towing when I'm doing my job of recommending Wrecker Services, thank you to these 3 businesses for being friendly and making sure that I had all the information I needed before hanging up...Tricky's Towing, you might want to reevaluate your customer service skills so there aren't more negative reviews added to the long list that I have already come across. Thought that I would give you a shot, but it seems as though you treat everyone the same and spending the time to draw my own conclusion was nothing but a WASTE of time.....

Amazingly, I am a lienholder on a vehicle and they kept the vehicle for over 30 days and never notified us that they had the vehicle. Charging $50 per day for storage. Had they called us 25 days ago, we would have been more than happy to get the vehicle picked up. Also, charge us $25 for a lien search but miraculously couldn't even FIND the lien?? Really?? Well, we know what it takes to become a millionaire. Going into the tow business soon!!!

The driver was extremely polite and very friendly.Had called and they said they would be out in twenty minutes. I was in granite city. Waited and waited and when i called back after forty minutes or so they said they were coming they had gotten a police call for a tow. I understand but common courtesy would have been to call so i knew and my ride wasnt sitting there almost late for work waiting.Biggest reason why i will never call and would recommend every one check around or at least find out what they are going to charge before hand....they towed my car from walmart in granite city to woodriver. Charged me $258.00. I thought he was joking at first. Thank god i had just got paid. Took almost my whole check. When i had it towed to repair shop...another towing company charged $85.00 to go from woodriver all the way to collinsville. They were shocked at what i had paid with trickeys as was everyone else. Everyone had told me do not ever call trickeys because of their prices and now i see why. Again definitely ask what they are going to charge you to make sure you dont have to stop by bank and take out a small loan to pay them.

Extremely rude, terrible customer service, wouldn't even let me get my cell phone, eyeglasses, and purse which contains my wallet that has my whole life in it.. finally after contacting an officer they allowed me to get only my purse. Trickeys is a great name for this company, because they are extremely tricky and I feel like they make up their own rules or fees just to screw people..

y car stopped just off 255/143. Called my insurance provider who informed me the network provider would be tied up more than the usual time. I asked if we could find some else and after talking to a supevisor this towing service was called. To be fair they aren't not a network provider so I expected the rate to be slightly higher. The network provider is $110.00 for about a 26 mile tow. But when Trickey's was call the quote was $298.00 to go the same distance. I told my insurance company that Trickey's was too much especially considering the network provider is one-sided the cost. So the contacted the network provider so the would show up.Since I am stuck waiting I decided to call to see why Trickey's cost three times more. The lady answering the phone was very friendly and told me the charge is based on mileage. So I was face with wait and pay $10.00 additional going with the network provider, or $198.00 additional going with Trickey's who aren't in my network for a total of $298.00 to get my vehicle home to a repair shop.Luckily I called because I found out there were going to dispatch a tow truck even though the did not have cclearance from my insurance company to come tow my vehicle. I told the lady that I didn't want them showing up at all.PLEASE NOTE: I rated Trickey's with two stars only because the lady that answered the phone was super friendly and helpful in helping me understand how the determine pricing. Hats off to her for doing a great job.

This business rips off local citizens. Just hope you never get towed after an accident, especially when Trickey's is dispatched by Alton Police. Will cost you over $700 to have your vehicle released. A trip charge, tow and "storage" should be around $200 as a fair price. Where is the extra $500 going? Even if the fair cost was an additional $100, still a real problem. Maybe the agreement between the city and vendor should be reviewed?

Horrible customer service reps are lazy. They are supposed to have friendly professional and dedicated staff but they need to change it to rude, lazy, do nothing. The woman acted as if I was asking her things outside of her job description when attempting to recover our unit. SMH I do not recommend them at all. And I apologize on their behalf for anyone who has to deal with them in the future.

So you car gets stolen...and you get a call from the WRPD that they found your car.If you think your day has just gotten better YOU ARE WRONG. more than likely your car was towed by Trickery's Service and your day is fixing to get a whole lot worse, believe you me. This is the second time they have ripped me off in the 30+ years that I have been driving. Both times I have not solicited there services, they were called by the police to respond. My latest encounter with Trickery's cost me 580 dollars for a 15.3 mile tow? Lucky for me my auto was delivered to the WRPD garage and I was not gauged for storage fees and other misc bogus trumped up charges. The people that work the counter there are rude and arrogant. They refused to explain they cost of there services rendered and told me to pay the bill or get out???So in closing I would like to thank the great folks at Trickery's Service for another job well done and If this is the last time that I am forced to do business with these Charlatans I will consider myself lucky.

This company and their employees are rude scam artist. Charge $258 for a 1.2 mile tow. They have had legal problems in the past for their business shadeyness. I recommend staying far away.

I called Trickey s after grocery shopping and came out to a vehicle that wouldn t start and wouldn t take a jump. The tow truck arrived in less than 10 minutes. Being stranded is never a good experience but to have a tow truck driver that was friendly and very professional, my mood quickly changed. The employee, in my opinion, is a huge asset to Trickey s as he made me feel that everything s going to be ok. I highly recommended Trickey s towing! Truck #35 Driver MN

These guys were awesome! Nice and friendly while they were towing my vehicle. Worked with me on the towing charges since I let their shop do the repairs. I'll definitely use them again.

Trickeys works with local police ripping off their customer base, which does not exist. This way they don't have to worry about losing any business, which allows them to act the way they do. The wrecker cracked my oil pan, the day after the tow all of my oil was in my driveway. My local mechanic told me he would be willing to call and tell them what they did, but what good would that do... My word against theirs. Horribly disgusting monster that, unfortunately will never go out of business because the fact they work with all the crooked police around town. Five stars for robbery. They really nail it when it comes to flawed systems.

I have waited almost a week before posting this hoping and praying that this company and the people who work for them could find a heart or a least a little decency... but they did not so now here i go....Last Wednesday my sister Shawndra Brooks's long time boyfriend Sean Walker after dropping off her daughter at school blacked out while driving their van and literally broke his neck. He has since then had surgery and has a long road to recovery. Trickey's service was called by the local police to tow it and no more than a few hours later after that they wanted over $750 to release the vehicle. My sister after hearing this amount immediately started crying and was told by the 2 heartless women working that quote "crying wont help anything". She asked if there was any way she could just get the clothes that were in the van and tried to explain to them that because they had just went to the laundry mat the night before that every single piece of clothing he owned other than what was cut off of him after the accident was in there as well as all of her work clothes, and the majority of both her daughters clothing including their new Christmas clothes. These wretched horrible women told her "Well if he broke his neck he will be in the hospital for a while and won't need his clothes" Nor did they care that her daughters would have hardly anything to wear or that she would not have any clothes to go to work in. ALL OF THIS A WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!! My sister even offered to sign the title over to them in exchange for just the clothing and was told "Absolutely Not,,your stuff inside the van is worth more than the vehicle itself" Never did she intend to not pay the tow fee but $750 FOR A MERE FEW HOURS is highway robbery and to come up with a week before Christmas is pretty much impossible for anyone with childern!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED that any company could treat someone with such disregard and malice. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY AND SHARE THIS STATUS SO OTHERS KNOW WHAT HORRIBLE PEOPLE THEY ARE!!!!
