I got a check engine light, went to autozone to see what it was. I called Pfeiffer auto clinic to ask if they could take a look. I got in the next morning and the man there was very nice (unfortunately I don't remember his name). He hooked up a computer to my car told me the problem and quoted me a really good price. Didn't charge me anything for the visit. I recommend everyone go here. Their prices are much better than anyone else in the Winthrop Harbor/Zion area.

I was treated with respect and genuine concern from the entire staff at Pfeiffer s Auto. They diagnosed my check engine light, explained how they could resolve the issue, approximately what the cost would be and the time frame in which they would perform the repairs. Everything went according to plan. Staff is always very polite and helpful. They let you know what's going on with your vehicle and always give a fair price as oppose to a place like Midas that overcharge. They have water and a little snack inside as well for customers. This is the place I have trusted with my vehicle and the only place I feel comfortable going to(knowing I'm not getting screwed over, as a female who knew nothing about pricing)

I would just like to thank Mr. Doug Graham and the awesome team at Pfeiffer Auto Clinic!!! Thank you Mr. Graham for stopping to help me on Saturday evening... in my opinion you went above and beyond in order to help me out ...with a tow to your shop after hours and by noon on Monday my car was fixed and ready to go! They were Very professional & able to get vehicle in to be checked then ultimately worked on fairly quickly. Would be returning if anything else should arise. Highly recommend!!!

Until I got here I was having a horrible morning. I live in South Milwaukee and work in Lake Villa, IL. I suddenly found myself broken down near the state line. Every other shop in the area could not even relate how I literally needed help today to drive home- Pfeiffer's Doug and Amy were SO nice and accomodating. They were able to order the axle and get it there and on my car in no time. Ge also told me what else I needed with zero pressure to buy it there, which only makes me want to give them more business. It turned a horrible Friday into a great one, when you get to deal with nice people it takes away anything you thought was bad. They're absolutely wonderful and do an excellent job. Yeimy is super easy to work with and gets you the best quote. I needed back brakes on my kia and front breaks on my monte carlo. They had them both done in an hour and a half and let me know the monte carlo needed back brakes as well (warped). They didnt have the parts but the next morning they had it done and ready for pick up by 930 am. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pfeiffer for ALL auto care needs.

A friend referred me to this place and it was a pleasant surprise! Knowledgeable, friendly, and affordable. They worked me into their schedule and did a great job. I'm going to them first for all my car needs and I trust them.

Took my car there for a transmission service. First thing they told me was I was out of oil and there was an oil leak from a gasket. I never noticed an oil leak in my garage where I park everyday. Nevertheless spent $1,600 to repair engine and change transmission fluid.3 weeks later I had to get a new transmission somewhere else. And that's the short story.Service: Transmission

The transmission on my truck went out on a Friday and call Pheiffer transmission. I had no Drive or third gear. I got truck home in 2nd gear. They said they were real busy but I could bring it by, but they might not be able to look at it till Monday. Witch I could understated calling just before noon on a Friday. I asked how about if I get it to you first thing Monday, and they said no problem. I gave them my truck and keys when the first opened on Monday. Before my lunch at 11:00am they gave me the bad news of needing a rebuild. The lady I talked to answered all of my questions and was very nice. Gave me a price and said it would be done in 2 to 3 days. On Wednesday around noon I got the call my truck was ready for pickup with no change in the price I was quoted. It has been only a few weeks but everything is great so far. I would recommend Pheiffer to a friend.

We have been having all of our transmission work done at Pfeiffer Transmissions for the past 25+ years. No matter where we are, if we have transmission problems, our vehicle gets towed or driven back to Pfeiffer's. They are totally reliable, reasonable in price and great to do business with. Their knowledge of transmissions is far superior to any other transmission businesses we have used. Go with Pfeiffer's and you will be totally satisfied.

These guys did an excellent job replacing my transmission and my radiator which I still owe them for on the radiator and they only called me once at the end of lastas an epidemic it is taking me a little while to get to them but that is about to change thank you for understanding guys!

I have never had a sense of complete trust with repair garage until these guys. Tim and his crew are the best. I recommend them to anyone
