I have never left a review like this before, but find it necessary based on the following story. I brought my car in due to some stalling and Brach s quickly figured out that I needed a new mass airflow sensor. They installed it quickly and for a fair price, 5 stars! About a week later, my car stalled and died. I was within pushing distance to another repair shop. The shop figured out that the newly installed mass airflow sensor was not working. I ended up having the part replaced and the shop advised me to return the part to Brach s as it was likely under warranty. I called Brach s the next day and was told to bring the part in and he would make it right. Later that week my wife stopped into Brach s to refund the part but was met with resistance. At first Brach s couldn t find the record of the transaction on their computer and said they couldn t refund without the receipt. We were never given a yellow receipt, just a small slip of paper from the credit card transaction. My wife instead provided our bank statement showing the day, time, and description which lists Brach s as the servicer. Brach s then placed all blame on her saying, Lady, it s not my responsibility to keep track of those things, that s on you . When she inquired about just looking up how much the part costs to have it reimbursed, she was told, how the hell am I supposed to know how much a part costs? My wife then left having received no reimbursement for the faulty part. Sometimes parts are faulty, and I don t blame Brach s for that. But when the part doesn t work within the week it was put in, Brach s needs to reimburse the customer for that. I would be happy to update my review pending a resolution initiated by Brach s. I needed a new trunk latch on my hatchback and of course the dealership wanted to charge an exuberant amount for it. I live down the street from Brach s and figured I d give them a call. Jim said he would take a look, he tried to fix it (which I m almost certain the dealership didn t try to do) and confirmed I did need a new trunk latch. He gave me an extremely fair price to replace it if I could get him the part, which phenomenally I was able to find on Amazon for $40. He replaced it for me the following week, and it s good as new. So nice dealing with someone honest and who you can tell is knowledgeable, I m recommending Brach s to all my fam and friends!

Awesome customer service. He helped me out and it saved me some money coming here. I thought something was broken in my light but he cleaned and fixed the socket and sent me on my way.

The guys at Brach's did a great job. Very down to earth place. Very reasonably priced. The guys at the shop are very professional and the shop looks very well kept. I refuse to take my car any place else. These gentlemen do great work, are up front with you, and take the time to explain what is going on.I m sure anyone with a car has been in a situation where you feel like the shop you are it is gouging the price, being dishonest, or just not demonstrating good service. These things don t exist at Brach s. Excellent service all around.I moved about 45 minutes west of Winfield, and I still make the drive to get work on my car done from them.You truly won t be disappointed.

I have been taking my vehicle's as well as my family's vehicles since 1997 . They have done all types of work on our cars & trucks from oil changes to fixing Windows that were stuck down. They even changed my tail light at no charge, simply because i couldn't do it myself. They are a good old school shop and I have never had to worry about being taken advantage of. I trust every recommendation they have given me, if they couldn't do something they pointed me in the right direction. Bottom line is they are trustworthy, good people!

We have 12 vans and 2 trucks for our business and our personal cars. They take care of all of them and have worked with them for over 40 years. We have since moved 15 miles to the west but still feel the drive is worth every penny! They always find a way to squeeze us in even when they are super busy. Hats off to Bill, Jim and Mike for years of great service and hard work.

Went for low tire pressure ,oil change and rear brakes Got the oil change and nail out of tire then was told I had 2 to 3,000 miles left on brakes after ford dealer told me I had 2000 miles left 7000 miles ago and they should be changed now. Had the brakes changed anyway, 2000 miles comes in a hurry. Brach`s is one honest garage with very reasonable prices. If you need work done they wi do the work, if you don`t need the work they will tell you.

Have never been given the runaround. The are super honest and I am not always easy to please. Nothing but praise for the straight forward simple and easy get your car fixed place anywhere around.

The absolute best car repair in the state With honest mechanics who only do what has to be done and is the most wallet friendly place to go for car and light truck repairThe owner works on the cars himself and they have been in Winfield for over 60 years o would never go anywhere else

Honest and trustworthy are words seldom used in the same sentence with auto repair. I have been using these words with Brachs Service in Winfield for years, when I give referrals. They understand the importance of building relationships, do good honest work and can be trusted to do the best they can.

Reasonable, reliable, and down to earth people. You'd be crazy to say you had a bad experience while driving away from this place.I always will recommend this spot to friends and family and am happy to continue to go there myself.

Trust. Probably the most important thing for me in having someone work on the vehicle that carries around all my precious cargo--and the family too. These guys have it. Now I won't stress over whether I'm getting ripped off or a poorly done job whenever I have to take the car in. Thanks guys!

Great place , honest place, great guys working there. Looking for a car shop that honestly doesn't screw you over cash wise or fix something on your car that doesn't even need to be fixed then this is your go to place.

These are the mechanics you can trust. I am a landscaper always coming in with junk trucks and they ALWAYS take care of me no matter what the issue is. This is the only place I go to.
