Dave is a very easy going but very professional, they are very trustworthy and very reliable, and the service is done on time and with good explanations. I highly recommend this business for auto care!

My car was making a whistling noise then one of my check engine lights came on. I pulled into Wilmette Auto Care after they closed. David kindly helped me after hours! He said he would evaluate my car and get back to me the following day. In the meantime, the car dealership called and told me the most likely problem and they could fix it the following week. The dealership warned me about auto shops trying to sell me products or services that I did not need and to beware. David called me the next morning, diagnosed the problem (same as what the dealership suggested) and that he would fix it by the end of the day! He also charged me much less than the dealership. Wow! I saved so much time, money and I gained so much peace of mind having a safe car. He was so honest, accommodating and went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend Wilmette Auto Care and will go back here for any future needs.

I've heard a lot of good things about this place so I gave it a try. I was very impressed with the service, honesty, and quick turn around. I have a car notorious for needing frequent attention and the car, unbeknownst to the mechanic, the car had received a lot of care recently. He noted the condition of the car honestly and told me the car needed nothing more done - it is very comforting to find a mechanic like this so close. I'll be using Wilmette Auto Care again.

These guys are great! I'll be taking our Kia there from now on. We needed front suspension work on our Kia. They got us in right away and had it fixed in a day. They didn't want us to risk taking a trip the way it was and didn't want us to miss the trip. The guys there are a pleasure to work with and very professional. They did a fantastic job and the car drives like new. All that and their prices are great too. Nice to find a shop like this where they do the job right and care about their customers.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Very satisfied. Have been using P&D Wilmette Auto Care for several years and would not use any other shop. Dave (one of the owners) did a very thorough job which allowed my husband and I to feel confident in being able to drive our cars that were 10 and 20 years old. We each got a newer car and we still bring it to this shop for any service we need. Work is always performed as promised. Absolutely the most trustworthy I have dealt with. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Dave and his guys are the consummate auto repair professionals. They have been servicing my vehicles for nearly 15 years and consistently meet and exceed my expectations for quality, reliability, and dependability. Really knowledgeable and honest employees with fantastic prices. To top it all off they are very quick and always have friendly staff. Got the brake pads changed there a few months later and been going back for regular work since. Never been disappointed!

I went for tire balancing , they make me a big list of repairs , replace caliper, replace low arm control, replace axel etc, they didn't do what i ask for waste of time. You don't like bad reviews i guest . Well here is one.

When I first met Baykar, I asked for an estimate on some work. Baykar said essentially "it will cost what it costs to do it right - no more no less". Since this was my first visit, I was skeptical at first. But he did what he promised, and has been doing so ever since.Over the years we've found over and over for that to be true... he'll do it right. He goes the extra mile too - i remember him calling around rushing to get us to a shop with a full body alignment so we could take our car home that day after a full tire replacement.We're on our second car being serviced with Wilmette and Baykar, and we'll use him as long as he's around.Baykar actually has a chemical engineering degree. But he just loves cars, and loves to make sure yours is working fine.

Bykar is great. Bykar has retired but the new guys are very nice too. Honest. Had my vehicle taken over for an engine light. Was told nothing wrong and was an old code. They even kept it and drove it to ensure code didn t come back. Awesome!!!!!
