We have been taking our cars to NorthShore for about 10 years and they ve always provided quality service for a fair price. They recently added two members to their team, Danae and Caitlin, who have made them even better. Danae is really an expert in her field and was extremely helpful in coaching us with a purchase of our new used car.

Northshore Automotive is a special vehicle service department. They are honest, dependable and reasonably priced. Danae and Cait were incredible in assisting me with my vehicle and its needs. They had it complete ahead of promise time and the cost was even less than the quote. They even offered me a shuttle ride home and delivery of my Hyundai once complete! Highly recommend for any and all vehicle and service needs. They are a full service alternative to the dealer!

I am a recent new customer with North Shore Automotive and I am extremely pleased with my experiences. Denae has been extremely thorough and responsive in giving me up-to-date information on the Car services we have had preformed. Kaitlyn, has done an outstanding job of setting up appointments and following through on services. We have had three car serviced with this company in the last month, and each experience has been terrific. I will highly recommend them to any of my friends.

I ve been a customer for more than 25 years first for my Toyota as NS Auto was billed as a Toyota specialist. But now we bring all of our cars there. The service is excellent and the staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly. Five stars for sure!

First time customer at Northshore Automotive and had a wonderful experience. Every person I interacted was great. Cait was so friendly and accommodating when setting us up Danae is so well informed she went above and beyond for me keeping me in the loop on the progress of my repair and letting me know what to expect in the future for maintenance. I will definitely continue coming back here!!!

They are absolutely wonderful. Whenever I have an issue with either one of our cars they are quick to help and very knowledgeable. Danae is wonderful and extremely helpful, she goes above and beyond for her customers and we are so gratefulCait is also easy to work with and has the same integrity as Danae. So happy we found NorthShore Automotive.

I have been taking my last car, an 03 Lexus and my current car, and 2014 Lexus for more than 21 years. They are the best. Their service Department is outstanding and I would highly recommend their friendly staff.

Yes, NShAuto proposed an expensive service I had not come in for, but ... I had intended to do that service in mid-April before I head out for lots of summer driving.So, when NShAuto took care of my immediate problem (bolt in my tire tread) and proposed this major service, I decided to go with them for the whole pkg ($1,200 ish).Am I a pushover? Perhaps, but two of my (new) Evanston friends have been dealing the NShAuto for 30 years, so it wasn't a difficult decision at all!

As usual, the people at Northshore Automotive were honest and thorough. And they drove me home and then picked me up when my car was ready. They are keeping my 2004 Rav4 moving along.

Taken my 2009 Rav4 here twice this year.. to the tune of about $5K..even with a Costo Discount..Owner (Tim) seems honest and so far, it would appear they do good work.. I picked my car up yesterday, and found a big grease spot on the seat, along with the floor (even with a mat) completely smudged and stained from dirty boots.. a guy came out (after I went back and made a fuss) and cleaned most of the stain on the seat, but I ended up all told spending about an hour getting all the grease or oil off the seat, and shampooing and vacuuming the carpeting on the floor.. Not cool...This lack of attention to detail and customer care makes it iffy for me to come back in 6 months, TBHUPDATE: After posting this review, the manager called me back to apologize and offering to make it right. I decided to give them another shot, and they offered my next service totally free of charge. I really shouldn't have had to go through this in the first place, but they did eventually make it right

Northshore Automotive has been servicing my vehicle for more than 12 years, and I would not go anywhere else! They are superb mechanics, and the owner (Tim) is a man of utmost integrity. Northshore Automotive is by far the best care you will get from an auto shop. I've been to many and liked very few. But this shop will give you the honest truth about your car. If there is a laundry list of issues they will tell you if it's worth it, what should be a priority to fix, and what, if anything isn't worth fixing.Again, I've taken many of my cars to many shops over the years but as long as the current manager and the current owner are at Northshore Automotive, I have absolutely no interest in ever changing shops again. You'd be a fool to walk away from these guys.

After a garage door came down on my car they were able to repair the Antenna and buff out all the scratches for a very reasonable cost. Delivered on time and great job, like new.Always honest and reliable Ryan was greatService: Car waxing

I've been going here for several years and with 3 different cars, 1 of which I purchased here, and I could not be happier with the service I have received. Their prices are fair, they are not the cheapest game in town but they have always done great work and are honest about what needs to be done and what can wait. My catalytic converter was recently stolen, and Ryan was great about the whole thing. He walked us through the steps, and made sure everything went smoothly, including dealing with the insurance company, which was also terrific. In record time, I had a new catalytic converter with an antitheft device. We have been going to Northshore Automotive for years, and will definitely continue to do so.

If you have a Toyota or Honda and are looking for a mechanic team you can trust to maintain that car as if it were their own for the duration of its life, Northshore Automotive is the place to go. For 16 years, they were the ONLY mechanics who serviced my Corolla. As someone on a budget, I appreciated their honesty and trusted their recommendations about what services were necessary and what could wait. That my vehicle, with more than 200K miles, survived 21 years (16 of them enduring Chicago roads and winters) is a testament to the quality of work that Tim Fella and his team provide. Unbelievable service. They give honest evaluations of your car, but don't push to complete it all at once. You have the choice to do repairs in your timeframe after learning which repairs should be done first to ensure safe driving and will give you a timeframe suggestion of when other repairs will be needed. We've had our cars serviced exclusively by Northshore for over 10 years andafter developing a very trusting relationship, we would never contemplate using any other repair shop. Over the years, I've also purchased several cars from Tim and I've always had an extremely satisfying experience.They are the best .

I have been going to Northshore for years with my Civic and have always experienced great customer service. I recently went through them to buy a used CRV at auction and had a great experience. Ryan is extremely helpful, professional, and informative. He made sure I got exactly what I wanted for a fair price. He is a straight-shooter and cares a lot about ensuring they only procure the highest quality cars for resale. I would definitely recommend Northshore for service and for purchasing cars!

We've been with Northshore Auto for many years-for repairs, maintenance and have never purchased a car from anybody but them. they are honest, knowledgeable and go out of their way to help whenever they are able. We have relocated to Wisconsin, but make sure we are able to return for any service we may need on our cars. They are the best!!

If you want an honest appraisal,a clear explanation of needed repairs, a fair price and work completed in a reasonable amount of time, you need to visit Northshore Automotive and meet the friendly, professional staff. For the past 20+ years this has been the only place my Toyotas have been serviced. When you know you will always be treated fairly, return visits are the norm. Through the years I've purchased several cars from Tim Fella, and each one has been a gem. I have two friends who also made car purchases from Tim. We have all been happy with our choices. It's very comforting to do business with reliable, knowledgeable people. Respect goes both ways.

Our family has been going to NorthShore automotive for 13 years. What we value the most about them is their honesty and trustworthiness. They have provided uniformly excellent service for all of our cars. There prices are more than reasonable and much better then the local dealers. We have purchased pre-owned automobiles from them and they have shown consistent solid performance just as if they had been purchased new. Our confidence in their team has lead us to refer family and friends to them and everyone has been pleased and become a regular customer. I would recommend them without reservation.
