In the eight years I ve owned this car and had regular oil changes, nobody has ever checked my cabin air filter. That is disgusting. Thank you, Gabriel. The service was polite, fast and cost about the same as anywhere else you would go.

I called this location for an oil change on my Toyota Venza and luckily they weren t too busy. Tim and his team provided excellent customer service, and explained all details during my visit. I believe it took less than 30 minutes start to finish!

Took my 2017 Audi Q5 to get an oil change on 12/20. Service tech's were great and service was fast... no complaints. Car is running fine with no oil leaks. My biggest disappointment is the price... $180 for an oil change???Air Filter: $45 (Should be $25..)European Synthetic Oil and Filter: $114.99 (4.8qt's)Premium Filter: $10 (whatever that is...looks like a profit center)Total: $170 + Tax.. = $180 ($40 labor and $130 parts.. + tax)Valvoline's website has this SAME oil listed @ $36 for 5 quarts. Walmart- Mobil 1 = $28 for 5 quarts. The oil filter should be ~$25.My local shop (German only cars) charges $90 for an oil change.. will go back there.

Good oil change place where they don t push a bunch of extra services. They do offer them, they re just not pushy about it.

Didn't get a chance to see inside. I waited at the closed gate while 3 guys just stared at me. I honkedThey stared. I left. Hope they can change oil better than they respect customers.

I've been meaning to write this review for awhile because I genuinely think the service here is excellent and I no longer dread going to get my oil changed. I've been going to this location for the last year after using a groupon and the Manager, Shalimer, and Assistant Manager, Lauren, are awesome!. They're super helpful, honest, and nice people. When I pull up, I hope they're working. I got some dud wiper blades a few months ago (no fault of theirs) and they replaced them right away, no questions asked. I've always had a good experience with everyone here. Highly recommend!Service: Oil change

Beware. A day after having Valvoline change my oil I was at work when someone noticed I had oil dripping under my truck. Took it to a shop close by and the mechanic found that both the drain plug and oil filter were so loose you could turn them with your fingers. Good service is something from the past and it seems as if no one cares these days. How does this happen? The guy is in the pit and his task is to remove the plug and filter. Drain the engine, add the new filter and tighten the plug. That's it. The new oil is pumped in from above! Ridiculous and never again.

10/10 would NOT recommend going here. Service quality has gone down significantly. I've had a few instances where my fluids haven't been topped off or tires repeatedly not filled right when i've swung by. I drive by consistently and see a truck that just stays in their furthest bay. Employees stand around, nobody really smiles and they all look miserable. Not sure what happened since the last 3 months when I was here prior but its unsettling to see such a demoralized team. I see the female manager (Katie i think her name was) that was always making sure I was taken care of isn't here. The one now is questionable. I'll have to rethink about where I get my oil changes from.....Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

So nice and so helpful very quick and efficient! I always get my oil changed here. It is so easy and they always let me know what is going on with my car. They also answer all my questions if I m ever confused and help me out so much all the employees are so kind and helpful. They have great customer service.

Got my oil changed today at Valvoline on Glen Ellyn on Roosevelt Rd. This oil change place had been here for many years but is now under the ownership of Valvoline.No wait on a Saturday afternoon. They said I could sit in the car since it would speed things up. That's different and a first. I'm all for speeding things up.I recommend looking for a coupon. Price is respectable $52 for my SUV. Coupons available online and receipts come w a $7 coupon for the return visit. Great service, thorough, no pushy sales reps trying to upsell every part.

The ladies are AMAZING!!! I go there because they know what they are doing, are so nice, and so helpful! I have been taken advantage of so many times at other places but not by this place! The woman manager and another woman worked on my daughter's and my car and they were so helpful. I'm going back to get new batteries for both cars! And for all oil changes! Thank you for being one of the good guys!

I have too agree with one of there other customer, God knows what happened to this place service was terrible crew members looked like they had no idea on what was going on,,! I was just there in March and everything was okay. All I know is I will never bring my car there or any other valvoline. Retrain all your employees I was frustrated almost 1 hour for my oil change when before I been out in 20 minutes.I give this place an F for customer serviceService: Oil change

The manager Shalimar is incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! I went in for an oil change for my car for the first time, and she was very friendly and explained what she was doing and why, and showed me how to check things like the air filters, without trying to hard sell me on stuff. Both the ladies there, Shalimar and Lauren, were doing great work! Thank you, and I will definitely be coming back in the future!

Update: 2 years later and this is still my go-to location. Will always be my preferred location.Go here once a month usually because of work. They always do solid work at a fair price and tell me about other things I should consider getting done with a logical reason behind it.Never had any issues. Staff is cool. Can't really say anything bad.

It s about 100 degrees today and Valvoline is busy - but Shalimar made me feel welcome and gave me an accurate estimate of the wait time and invited me to sit in the air conditioned waiting room and let me know about the bathroom facilities. Job well done! Very impressive team work and customer service despite difficult circumstances. Highly recommend.

We were there waiting for half an hour, then another car came in after we did, and they let them go first. We ended up not getting our oil change anymore because of frustration. This is the poorest form of service we have gotten at this location. We re never going back here again. I d give you a zero star if I could!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Great service from a friendly staff! Especially the manager, who not only quickly and thoroughly assessed my car, but also gave me great tips for seeking out my next vehicle. He definitely went the extra mile. He is extremely knowledgeable and seems trustworthy, which is a rare combo as far as mechanics are concerned.

Sunday morning. Arrived @ 10:15am. Two service stalls have cars and there is one car waiting in front of me. It's five minutes before someone comes out to speak with me. He tells me to back up so that the car in front of me can pull into a service bay and then pull in behind him. I do so. Several minutes later, a tech tells me to pull out and wait for a different service bay. A few minutes later, a tech tells me that the customer in front of me is having a transmission flush which will take a while. He tells me to pull out and wait for the first service bay. (This is now the third time I've changed lanes.) While I'm waiting for the customer in bay one to leave, the guy who was getting the transmission flush leaves, opening that lane. Meanwhile the customer in Lane one asks the tech how to reset his old change needed light. They get into a long conversation. It's now 10:40, I've been there 25 minutes but still no oil change, I was fed up and left. These guys are clueless!

Love this place and the people that work here!! I wouldn't go anywhere else. I get to stay in my car, they do wiperblades, and seem honest. Not sure of her name but the gal that works there is our favorite.

Not exactly sure what is going on at this location. I waited quite a long time with only 2 cars in front of me. The air conditioner in the waiting room was not working and circulating warm air smelling of mold. After getting my truck into the bay I waited around 30 minutes before asking what was going on. This store was 'unable to reach' my oil filter to remove it and unable to change my oil. My vehicle is a F-150 and I have never had any issues. This location has changed my oil for years. Valvoline has lost me as a customer.Update: I took my truck to Jiffy Lube. 20 minutes total wait time for complete oil change. No issues with removing the oil filter on a F-150, the most ubiquitous truck in America. Valvoline Owner: I will pass on sending you my VIN and wasting my time. The service of your store speaks for itself.

It was very quick, which was awesome! The employees were nice as well. The reason they get three stars instead of five is because the website says we could do a contactless oil change, but that wasn't the case. The tech got into my car and was inside without a mask only two feet from me and three feet from my kids for at least five minutes, which made me totally uncomfortable.If you advertise no contact, then you should offer no contact. And also have employees wear masks when inside a customer vehicle.

Lauren was so helpful! I called after purchasing a Groupon and she explained the details of the Groupon including possible additional costs. When I arrived she noticed the hood release was broken and she spent at least 10 minutes working to successfully repair it. They didn't have the engine filter that I needed in stock so she got one from a local shop just so I wouldn't have to come back. This was the best service I have ever received and I will definitely be back.

The females - Lauren R and Shalimar B are the ideal employees! Incredibly courteous, friendly, and extremely knowledgable. Answered all of my questions regarding my car and oil change, and their assessments and suggestions were honest and valuable.From now on - only taking my cars to this Valvoline for oil changes and maintenance, and that solely is the result of these empowered and awesome women working in cars and doing it better than the men!Service: Oil change

I have become accustomed for oil changes to be transactional. I pull in, wait, they go through the checklist with me, I pay & leave. This location, led by Andrew, goes above & beyond.I had some AC issues they not only offered to fix, but also gave me some suggestions & options to help me keep the cost down. Great experience at the Valvoline on Roosevelt Rd. I had called and spoke to Gabe who broke down pricing and let me know a good time to arrive. When I arrived Andrew was the person who assisted me. Andrew was very personable and I even found myself chatting with him for a couple minutes before I left. The oil change was much quicker than expected and I was in and out within minutes. I will definitely be returning to this location in the future for oil changes and other services.

I went there on a Saturday. They only had 1 bay open. When it was my turn for an oil change i pulled in. While i was sitting in the car they were attempting to do the oil change. Well they stripped the oil plug. Then said we cant do the oil change. So i immediatly went to Midas down the street. They took a look at it and said they could get it off however the oil pan would probably break while doing so. Cost would be $1400 if oil pan broke. I said no thanks.So i then called the Vavoline 800 # to start a claim. They said someone in Management would get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. Nope. So i called again on Tuesday. They repeated someone would get back to me in 24 hours. So i wait. Nope again. So i call again on Thursday. Same thing. Again no call. So i call back and they said claim is closed. And Denied. I tell them noone called me how can it be closed. No reason given. So i ask that someone please call me asap. Nope. To this day still havnt heard from them. This has to be the worst customer service i have ever experienced. EVER.They havnt heard the last from me.Mr. Owner Bob didnt call me. Go figure.Service: Oil change

Went there to get a easy oil change was quoted a price for 40 dollars for just regular oil. However, they told me that I need full synthetic oil for my car. However I know for a fact that my car take either or just fine. They quoted my oil change for fully synthetic at 117 dollars! Complete rip off so I just left and got my oil changed at Merlin for 50 dollars. That 50 dollars I paid was actually for fully synthetic. This place tries to make you pay double the price for oil changes. A pure SCAM!! Stay away from this place. Forgot to mention but one of the employees told me my car might blow up if I went with regular oil change. Even though my car can do both synthetic or regular oil
