They are great for regular repairs, like brakes and oil changes. If you need a diagnosis, use someone else. I have had bad experiences with them several times, enough for me to not want to use them again. They installed defective rear struts, and when I brought the car back complaining, they installed different new rear suspension parts without my authorization. They told me that they fixed the rattle, when in fact the rattle persisted. Another repair shop fixed their mistakes. I could go on and on. Worn brakes were misdiagnosed as a worn serpentine belt pulley. Their prices are lower than average, but if you have to have their work redone, where is the cost savings in that?

So glad i stopped here for a flat tire emergency! They confirmed I had a nail in my tire and were able to fix it insted of replace. They were so honest with me. Everyone was so nice and understanding. They took care of my vehicle so quickly. Special thanks are due to the manager Nathan and technician Barry. The waiting room is also very family friendly if you have to bring your kiddos.

One review for two BAD experiences!Like other reviews, I went there for their FREE oil change/tire rotation....I think its a way to get you come-by so they can sell you services!The very first time, they told me my battery is bad, all fluid needed to be replace and drive belt needed to be replace. I told them I dun have time will come back.....Took my car to my regular guy, told me. The battery is fine can use at least one more yr, all fluid are fine and drive belt no problem!!Second time, went there again for the free oil change LOL. they sent me the coupon again! When I am done, they told me I needed a new timing belt, water pump should be replaced, along with three other oil gasket! (please know that i was the one who told them about the gasket but dealer told me only one gasket needed replace but they said I need THREE!) I was at the dealer a week before, so I knew about the gasket, dealer didnt even tell me about the timing belt and water pump lol.

I was very impressed by all aspects of this service! I had a AAA call as my car broke down they brought it here and kept me updated all day. The person at the counter knew so much about cars and gave me some good advice and helped me add some additive to my tank while I was next door at the gas station. I will absolutely be using them again.

I have been going here for years and unfortunately after last visit I will not be returning. I spent over $1600 to fix my old car because they told me "it is in great shape besides that". Not even a week later the check engine light came on and I finally got it looked at (elsewhere) and the catalytic converter is out. So now I am stuck because I can't get that fixed for emissions AND I am out $1600 that could have been used as a down payment because of following their advice. Don't trust them they will say anything to get your money

Superb!!!! The most hospitable, honest, welcoming, professional from entering the shop until exiting.Did ever happened to you to have break down on the road, get towed to a place out of your state an not knowing what to expect.It did happened to me and my wife, but lick brought us here.The most hospitable gentleman Dave waited us at the door with big smile and most honest handshake. Made us feel very welcome and invited us in the cozy waitroom.He made sure that we know the quote before any repair is done.Our car was road ready in notime, and the most important of all my wife was very happy.Behind the desk is another gentleman Dave and Nathan that make this shop even more superb.When you read reviews sometimes they are fake, but I spoke with many clients while waiting and I assure you that this place is spectacular.They have me as client for life , thank you.

The lady at the front desk was perhaps the nicest representative I've met. She sold me on the classic membership. And she was extremely personable, knowledgeable and friendly. I don't remember her name, but she was the one with lovely pale hair and kind eyes.

This is a fine establishment, the food is delicious and price per plate is reasonable. I love their cream of chicken soup! I recommend this restaurant it's one of the last Greek family restaurants around. Honey Jam bought all the rest out.

I'm a few months late with this review but I just had to stop by and make sure to let everybody know that these guys are AMAZING! A while back I was having issues with my battery and I had no idea where to start. Even though I live really close by, I hesitated bringing in my car because people kept telling me that it would be ridiculously expensive and that it might not be worth it in the end. My, oh my, were they wrong!!! DJ kept in constant communication with me throughout the whole ordeal, everyone was extremely kind to me, and to top it all off, after I declined their suggestion to change the starter and opted to leave knowing full well I might not be able to start my car and ended up getting stranded at the gas station next to them (Cassey's on Roosevelt), they sent someone over to give me a hand right away!!! Believe me when I tell you that DJ went above and beyond to help me with all my car issues and he made sure that everything was running smoothly before returning my car back to me. I'll keep coming back! You can't put a price on peace of mind! 100% recommended :)

Used to like going there but my last oil change sucked. Next day, car started to shakeup and it the alignment was way off. I called to and when I got there, Nate the front door person had an attitude with me. Didn t fully hear me out.

This is a great place. Friendly staff and professional workers. They helped me identify the car s problems fairly quickly, without an appointment. They gave me free recommendations of what to do. They even pumped the tires for me, for free. Awesome place!

Went in for a standard oil change, check-up, and wheel alignment, being it would take 1.5 hours "at most". Unfortunately, it extended to 3 hours with no updates. The only interaction during the 3 hours period was a sales pitch for insurance. Felt my time wasn't respected, and communication was lacking. Won't be returning with my cars.

Honesty is rare these days , these guys hit the mark and I love the fact they send me a digital inspection with actual photos of issues and potential future issues with my vehicles!The 3 year 36k mileage warranty on repairs is amazing!Thank you AAA Wheaton!

Customer service used to be better when Dan was servicing the car care desk. Very pleasant demeanor and very helpful. Employees currently at service desk and not so helpful and quite curt. For years I've been coming here, passing up a closer AAA just for better customer service. Now that the customer service is not so great, might as well go to the closet AAA to me.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations, Oil change

I brought my car for winter check-up/maintenance and because I was hearing clicking noises ...they were really helpful in identifying what the problem was: turns out ball & socket (i think that s what it s called) needed replacement. They also tried to give me the coupons and discounts they could find, which I thought was kind. As I needed to leave soon for Michigan, they were also kind enough to squeeze me in the morning.They also invited me to come to the back and see the problem myself. Showing me the issue and explaining it s importance gave me confidence that what needs replaced is truly necessary.I would just suggest that if you are someone like me who need time to deliberate before deciding what to do, make sure to tell them to give you a little time to think as some of them can be just straight shooters. Haha. Lol.Overall, some advice :31. Ask for sometime to think if you need it. Don t feel the pressure to decide on the spot. It ll be okay.2. Ask what each number in the itemized receipt means... which is for parts, for labor, etc. they will really try to apply coupons and discounts, and what not.3. Be safe. Your car needs routine check-up as your body needs routine doctor visits.I ve never felt like being ripped off. I would say, very honest labor. Check em out.

My breaks were dangerous and completely gone. I was referred by a friend. The guys took such good care of me. DJ was so kind to explain my problems to me and the guys did a wonderful job. I plan to take my car there for all my issues going forward and refer as many folks as I can, to get their car repairs done at AAA Car Repair in Wheaton. I had a very bad time with this AAA car repair shop in Wheaton, Ill.Brought the car 2010 Toyota rav4 to this shop for a radiator hose replacement. After they replaced it, the coolant water leaked everywhere around the new hose they just replaced. Brought the car back this shop inspected it and told me the alternator belt is bad and need to replace it with a new one. I told them it's still under warranty that I paid last year with a new alternator replaced at this shop. They replaced it and 3 days later it broke again. Brought the car back and they told me the water pump is bad too and I had to pay $600.00 to replace it. Brought the car home and the new alternator belt is broken again. Brought the car back and this time they replaced a new belt with different Manufacture. and it is OK so far now. To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing wrong with my car's water pump. They replaced it for nothing, and I paid $600.00 for nothing. The belt they replaced 3 times is a bad Manufacture belt. Hopefully, the Owner of this shop read and understood what I wrote here and do something better for the customer. Should I go back to this shop in the future? I've only ever been here for alignments, but they are a lovely group of folks to interact with. They've got an alignment rack that is low car friendly, they are happy to do custom alignments, they let me sit in the car on the rack to hold the steering wheel straight so that I could ensure the alignment was perfect, and they even let me road test the car afterwards to ensure everything was in order before paying (but I decided to come back and pay them, lol.) They do a great job, and I highly recommend them - at least for us low cars that need a good, friendly place to get special alignments.

I am so happy I decided to bring my car to AAA Wheaton. My car runs better than it has in years. I spoke to Nathan who was so patient with my concerns. Nathan called with updates which made me feel my decision was spot on. We visited here with five kids to get our brakes checked out just before leaving on vacation. The waiting room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. It was fun for the kids to watch the car getting fixed through the window in the waiting room. The service was quick and the brakes turned out to be fine.

The team at AAA auto care were amazing. Nate explained the process and pricing upfront and clearly. The real hero and star of the show was the mechanic Ken Kane. He created an atmosphere of comfort, and explained why I needed to repair the components that had broken. For the first time, I felt like my auto mechanic was not trying to take advantage of me. Ken deserves an award from corporate and a raise for his amazing customer service. He was also extremely handsome!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I had to contact this facility 4 times in order for me to finally get my 1st service appointment scheduled. The third attempt is when an employee answered the phone and told me that they were scheduling me for a certain day and time ..but I ended up not being on the schedule. However, once i finally got in through the doors, my experience improved considerably. I would like to personally express my sincere appreciation/gratitude to regional manager Ron Seay, and Store Manager Kenneth Dieden. Thank you both for reaching out to me. I feel that both gentlemen did an excellent job accomodating me, and rectifying my issues/concerns. So far, i am pleased with how my car is driving/operating after the repairs/maintenance. I am also pleased about the relationship I have cultivated with Mr Dieden. I really hope to be a long-term customer at AAA Car Care/Wheaton, and, I am very grateful for their services/treatment. It was great meeting and visiting with Mr. Dieden, today. He leveled with me, explained everything in great detail, took ownership, and made everything right by me. Because of how he handled things, today, with me ...and how he treated me, I have developed a respect, trust, and loyalty for /to Mr Dieden and his facility. I will definitely be returning to AAA Car Care/Wheaton in the future to service my vehicle.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

They are awesome ! Nobody can trouble-shoot vehicles as well as these guys. Mr. Hudzik especially was incredible in his vast knowledge of all things Corvette. Wouldn't want to take my car anywhere else. If they could just keep their air pump going,I would probably just park an RV there and get take-out from the Casey's next door...what else does a guy need?Services: Vehicle Inspection, Transmission repair

Terrible service over the phone, tried to reach the travel agency, kept being redirected to insurance and when they transferred me to the correct line it would ring for 5 minutes and just hang up, this happened 3 times in a row

5 stars are not enough I wish I could give 10. Nate and Barry went above and beyond to help me with my flat tire. They made sure I would have a safe journey home. I can t thank them enough. The Service man I spoke with David M. Was very polite and explained the issues my van was having with brake system. The car dropped off at 9am was inspected at noon and car was ready by 4. the work performed was expensive but the parts cost was definitely 3/4 of the bill. 3 new calipers 4 new rotors and brake pads all around new brake fluid you get the idea...I would recommend using them. As I believe the quality of the service and finished repair is wonderful.

The best place ever, went in for an international driver license, super helpful extremely professional, they where done in less than 5 minutes, very polite they are just awesome!!!!!!
