Gus & his guys took excellent care of this old guy & his 1998 Malibu , they resolved a persistent issue w/ this vehicle to my satisfaction.It is nice to have such a dedicated mechanic crew locally, also very clean shop & office. Pleasure to visit Gus' garage but none of us wish to do so too frequently!

Really great shop, they've done right by us so far! I tend to work on my own vehicles and I'm very skeptical of shops. Gus's Auto has earned my trust and helped me out of a pinch or two.

Very nice guys, he stopped to answer my questions and have me a quick estimate. The only reason I didn't use him because of my schedule. Next time I need a mechanic I'll use Gus' shop. By the way extremely clean restroom, rare for mechanic's shop.

We were recently in the area for our Shaklee business leadership meeting, having driven three hours from our home in Michigan. Our new-to-us vehicle broke down right in front of the hotel! We did an on-line search to find a close auto repair. Gus' had the best reviews. We called them first thing the next morning (Friday), to ask for help. Not only did he send someone over to see if the car could be jumpstarted, he also found us a tow truck when they discovered it wasn't a simple fix. They diagnosed our problem (bad starter, turbo leak), and worked through the day to get our vehicle fixed. They also communicated regularly throughout the process, and were super helpful with all our questions. We were SO grateful for their care and excellent customer service. Our vehicle was done by the end of the workday, and we were able to make our return trip home on time! Pricing was also very fair.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I took my car for the basic Oil change and also had an honest reviews about the tires, which needs to be replaced. All the people who were sitting there were talking about their professional attitude and honesty. For now on I will only take my car over there. We've been taking all of our cars to Gus for years. He and his team are most professional and efficient at what they do. They always seem busy yet make it to addressing our cars promptly. They do excellent work at very fair prices and would recommend you to a specialist if appropriate. Don't listen to the staff over the phone. I was told that they could take my 10ft conversion van over the phone. I was very clear since I've had problems on the past. When I arrived I was assured they can't take it.

Had my battery replaced last night at a chain auto store. They told me my alternator was bad and I needed it checked. Called Gus', stopped in, and within 30 minutes was told my alternator was fine. They fixed something that was done with the battery install which was causing the incorrect read and charged me very small, very reasonable fee to do so. I will absolutely be back strictly based on the customer service. Thank you so much!

We keep our cars forever, so once something is no longer covered free under dealer warranty ends we go to Gus for everything from oil changes on up. Smart and trustworthy. Gus was absolutely wonderful. He was kind and understanding. He didn't talk down to me like most mechanics I've delt with in the past. He explained everything to me so I could understand what work needed to be done. His pricing is so fair its almost shocking. I not only plan to bring my jeep back if anything else comes up. I will also be recommending him to all of my friends and family. I'm an extremely satisfied customer. Bring your vehicle here you will not be disappointed.

Gus Auto is great! My DLC connector is damaged and couldn't pass the air team test before registration. I took my car to Gus, they examined and fixed it in 1 hr. I took it back to the Illinois air team, and passed the test! The price was very reasonable and saved me a lot of bucks comparing to the dealership. Highly recommend them. Friendly stuff!

Great service, great people, great price! Gus goes out of his way to be sure he's fixing the right issue and not needlessly replacing something hoping that will fix a problem. The place is usually crazy busy (another good sign), but he's honest and upfront about when the fix will be able to happen.

Gus here is very respectful nice and his prices are very reasonable. He talks to you and explains what the issues are with your vehicle. I wouldn't go anywhere else. You can trust these people with your car. They don't over price. I would definitely recommend this place.!

Every time I called Gus' auto repair shop, Gus himself answered the call and spoke very courteously and answered all my questions. He told me when he would have opening to take care of my car and how much it would cost. But he is a very busy guy who runs a successful business and seems to be very popular with the customers. You can see the number of customers who take their business to him and the number of cars in his workshop. Last time he replaced my compressor and my car has been doing well. I need to go back to him for an oil change soon.

Not only was he really nice. Was able to get me in that day. Fixed my problem much quicker than any other place and charged me a reasonable price. I will be using this place again.Actually now used 2 xs. Called the day before. They got me in. Did the work I needed. They were very professional, reasonable priced and car wad done same day.Will use them again.

Gus is a great guy. I feel confident in the ceramic brake shoes he sold to me at a very reasonable price. And he was done in just a few short hours on a Saturday when most other shops are closed.
