I was very pleased with the repair as the damaged area looks unrecognizable. The car was returned in a better shape than when I dropped it off - the interior and exterior were cleaned, which I did not expect. Above all, the staff went above and beyond as they delivered my car to my house because I was unable to due to my work schedule and having little children.

If i could give them more than 5 stars I would. Absolutely amazing crew! I worked directly with Edgar, Jeff and Karen, and they went above and beyond to help me, during this very traumatic moment in my life. They were more than just the people fixing my car, they brought me comfort and relief throughout my whole experience. Not only by working with my schedule, but also by keeping me informed throught the whole process. I could not recommend this place enough. It's tough as a young woman finding somewhere I feel like I can trust, especially when it comes to cars, but I can safely say I have no problem placing my faith in these guys. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone and everyone. This company holds their employees to a high standard and the Waukegan crew is an amazing example of that. They are definitely the kind of people that give caliber it's title as one of the most trusted auto service providers in their communities. Any caliber I visit in the future will have high standards to live up to.

Horrible communication and poor customer service. My car was totaled and I had to remove an aftermarket engine modification and replace it with the stock modification. They refused to do it and one of my windows was already shattered so I didn't want it outside. They promised to leave it in the garage for 3 days. I come back on the 2nd day and my car is outside under a pile of snow. The hood latch was frozen and nobody offered help.

The day I originally scheduled to drop off my vehicle / got there and was told I would have to come again when all the parts were received. They did not contact me as the owner of the vehicle but the name of the person whose insurance policy I am on which was frustrating. I was not able to drop off my vehicle for almost another month. When I went back after rescheduling a drop off day I was not told how long the repairs would take. In this time I did already have travel plans and made them aware of this. I left town on a Wednesday and was contacted that same day after leaving and was told my vehicle would be ready that Thursday/Friday. On Thursday when I received a call saying it was ready I had a friend pick up my vehicle (because they asked if I could have someone remove it from the premises). My friend picked it up and after returning to town the following Tuesday ! inspected my vehicle and found that it was indeed NOT ready. I then called and expressed my concern which they asked me to bring it back in during my lunch so they could take a look. After bringing it back they discovered a screw was missing (there was a piece constantly falling out every time l opened my trunk) then he also said there was paint missing from the interior part of the repairs so I am having to bring my vehicle back again. It took them 30 mins to re-inspect the vehicle and put a screw in and now I have to use yet another one of my lunches to sit there for 30+ mins as they finish painting. I'm convinced they rushed the vehicle just to get it done quickly.

This review should be considered zero stars.I recently had a highly unfortunate experience at a well-known service center where I entrusted my truck for a three day service. Regrettably, during this period, an expensive item was stolen from inside my vehicle. The incident, coupled with the apparent security lapses, has left me deeply disappointed, and compelled to share my review.Upon arriving at the service center, I was initially impressed by its reputation and the positive reviews I had read. The staff seemed professional and knowledgeable, instilling a sense of confidence in their ability to handle my vehicle with care. However, my perception quickly changed during the course of my vehicle s stay.Firstly, the security measures at the service center were severely lacking. It is essential for a reputable establishment to prioritize, the safety and security of their customers belongings. However, it was evident that the service center had insufficient security protocols in place. The fact that someone was able to gain unauthorized access to my vehicle and steal a valuable item, raises serious concerns about their negligence and lack of concern for customer property.Moreover, the theft not only represents a significant financial loss, but also a breach of trust. When we leave our vehicles in the care of professionals, we expect them to exercise the upmost responsibility and respect for our property. Unfortunately, this was not the case at this service center.Furthermore, how the service center responded to the incident left much to be desired. When I discovered the theft, I immediately informed the service centers management, and expected them to demonstrate, genuine concern and take swift action. However, the response was disappointedly, apathetic. They showed little sympathy for the situation, failed to conduct a thorough investigation, and offered no compensation or resolution.As a result of this unfortunate experience, I cannot in good faith, recommend Caliber Collision located on Green Bay Rd, in Waukegan Il, to others.In conclusion, my experience at what I thought was a reputable service center was marred by a disheartening theft, and inadequate security measures. It is my hope that by sharing this review, others can make an informed decision and avoid similar incidents in the future.

Just got my Jeep back.I've been going to this place for a very long time, and have never had anything but a five-star experience! Jeff, the manager, is awesome. Very understanding and explains everything you need to know. He dealt with the insurance company for me so I didn't have to. They returned the rental car for me so I didn't have to do that. They detailed my car so I got it back, clean and shiny and ready to go. I would never go any place but here.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

I wish I would ve taken the reviews to heart before getting my car dropped off there. Customer service is trash. They argue with you when they don t get their way. The work was decent at best, and they didn t detail the car like they said they did. The reason why i am giving them a 2 star rating is because of their work on fixing the car, and nothing else. I do not recommend this place at all, and I called my insurance company to remove them from their authorized repair shop list.

Following a recent collision, our 2004 Lexus 330RX required some fairly substantial repair work (incl suspension, bumper, right wheel well, electric wiring, etc). Due to the car's age, there was some question as to whether the parts could even be located. However, Karen and her team did an excellent job of not only locating all of the parts needed (and quickly), but also leveraging their own expertise & industry connections to restore existing parts where appropriate (to help keep overall costs down). We could not have received a better experience. Karen kept us updated on progress and helped us manage our costs, all while restoring the car's condition to a state that we could not have imagined. It looks great, and runs great! It's rare enough to find a body shop that can be trusted, but I have no hesitation in recommending Karen and her crew for not only their expertise & skill, but their character as well. This is probably the best Auto body shop I've ever been to. Highly professional, accommodating staff. Most affordable quotes - mine was 1/4 of the one I received in the city. They promised the car would be ready by noon, and it was ready at 12pm sharp. Thank you, Caliber Collision!!!

My family and I have been going to Central Auto Body which is now Caliber Collison for over 25 years. They always do their best to accommodate and get the job done in the best, most affordable, and timely manner. My family and I trust this business when it comes to all our car needs, from accident repairs, paint jobs, as well as simple details. I would not trust anyone else with my vehicle. I was referred to Caliber Collision by a friend and I was very impressed with the service and the work they did. Edgar called me almost everyday to keep me updated on my car and to let me know the timeline. Some parts had to be ordered but he expedited them because he knew I did not have rental car insurance and did not want me to have to pay for too many days. He was very helpful and thorough. He was able to get my car done 5 days sooner than anticipated. When I pulled up to pick it up, I almost didn't recognize it because it looked stunning after being damaged so badly. They also detailed and washed my car. I want to also say to everyone I had contact with there that they were all very helpful and very friendly. I want to say thank you for my making my car look absolutely beautiful again. Lastly, want to add that when I dropped off my car, they gave me a ride over to the rental place and when I came back to pickup my car, they took my rental back for me. I will definitely use them from now on. Thanks Edgar and everyone else at Caliber Collision!!

Karen was very kind and professional the way she greeted me. She was very helpful with the paperwork. Edgar was very knowledgeable about what I needed done with my car. Jeff was very helpful offering me a ride home. Very warm and welcome business. They kept me well informed. My car looked great when it was done.

Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. A delay with a technician coming out meant my van would have to stay over the weekend instead of picking up on Friday as planned (they are closed on weekends). They got the tech out early Saturday morning and Jeff came in on his day off just so I could pick up my vehicle that day. I could not be more pleased with the overall experience.

I've used Caliber's services over the years and have always had excellent results. I recently went in to have a front bumper molding re-installed. The work was done same day and for a lot less cost than I expected. Very friendly staff!!3/28/22 - Went back to Caliber due to a dent I put on my truck. The team was very friendly and the work was perfect!! Truck looks great!! I hope I don't have to go back to Caliber but if the unfortunate should occur again, I won't hesitate in going back!!6/15/22 - Unfortunately, I had to return to Caliber because my daughters car was hit by another driver. As usual, the Caliber team quickly provided a quote and scheduled the repairs. I took the car in on a Monday and had it back on Wednesday. The repairs were perfect! They also helped with the car rental. I hope our luck with accidents improves but if it doesn't, I know where to go for professional autobody repairs!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

What sets them apart from the rest is quality of their work and outstanding customer service. From the time of my collision and estimate, I was kept abreast of steps of repair process. One of their guys, Danzel, kept in touch quite often about the progress. The car looks like new, and of course it would since they use OEM parts. They have painters that will match existing paint. No shortcuts to save a buck. Of course, it's not cheap, but you are getting what you are paying for. If you have insurance covering the costs, it might be easier to accept it. And at the pick up they washed and vacuum the car. Who does that? Thank you, highly recommended!Service: Body & Trim
