At Car Care and tire center in Wauconda I found friendly and knowledgeable people. Dedicated and professional. When I need service on my car I look for a good rate and quality service. Though their rates seem a little on the high side yet still within published service rates, I found that the service and quality they offer, the confidence they give me knowing my car is serviced correctly, makes it all worth while.

I had a roadside emergency-my battery was dying while driving. This is not near my home but the people could not have been nicer with my roadside emergency. They were able to help me within 45 minutes. Thank you for your great service today and your help! I will for sure be recommending your business!

The team at Wauconda Car Care are extremely knowledgeable, and very informative. Their pricing and labor rates are very reasonable and they never try to sell you services that are not necessary. I have full confidence in their knowledge and ability to get the job done right the first time, every time.

One of the most expensive pil change I ever pd in my life... would I recommend it? If money is no issue n you can burn it sure but I've had it done for about half w quality muffler in Island Lake n no issues. $125 is a bit much, but it's my opinion.

Their team diagnosed braking noise and promptly serviced my daughter's Jeep Compass, turning an anticipated expensive repair into an affordable one. First time at this shop, because it was recommended to me by a friend. I came in for and oil change. 2 days later, I noticed that i had an oil leak and the leak was not just a few drops, it left big oils stains on my driveway. i've had my truck for 5 years and i have never had a leak. I went back to the shop and asked them to check that the oil filter and plug were tight. they checked and said that leak not coming from filter or plug. I took the truck to a mechanic, he found 5 bolts were loose and that is where the leak was coming from. I don't think 5 loose bolts are a coincidence. i believe that someone in this shop loosened the bolts to get me to bring it in for an expensive repair. this was my first and last time in this shop. BEWARE!!!

Quick and easy service. Had a tire go out on me Christmas Eve and had a new one ordered and installed the day after Christmas. Fair prices.

Had an issue with my brakes on a Sunday so we called here since it was one of only a couple places open. We were told they couldn't guarantee they d be able to look at it until Wednesday bc they were so busy but if we were able to drop it off they could check it out if they ended up having any downtime. Got a call Monday morning telling me what the problem was & how much it would be to fix it. I was able to pick up my car by Monday afternoon! They also had vacuumed the inside which was much appreciated. I will be bringing my car here for any maintenance from now on!

The new tires arrived when they said they would. I made the appointment for the install and they were done with it in about 1-1/2 hrs. Their price was about $100 less than another dealer in town for the same item (not in stock).I also did not expect the complimentary car wash.Thank you for great service.Service: Tires

The best in the business there mechanics know what they are doing and how to solve problem I have used them for over 15 years moved to Tennessee and can t find good mechanics down there by us so I bring my vehicles back up here to get fixed thanks to ryan , jen and joe for being the best

Probably from that same huge pot hole where we have to replace front tires and a rim, we had a sticking caliper on one rear brake necessitating a brake job. I called Wauconda Car Care and Tire Center and got the brake job completed within a day.I recommend this business team to handle your car maintenance.Services: Tires, Brakes, Auto tire replacement

Can't say a bad word about Wauconda Car Care service or staff. I like to keep my services in my home town/Waconda. And to find excellent service that also has hours that work with my schedule is a great plus in my book. People are friendly and professional. The work is done in good time and at a great price. I not only use them for my company truck but my own vehicles as well. I found this place because they were the only ones to take my car on a Sunday. I had a flat tire from a nail and had it towed there the day before I was supposed to go on a road trip. They checked out my tires and noticed they all needed replacing. Jen was fantastic and called me right away to let me know and suggested a good tire for my Cruze. They couldn t get them on a Sunday so she said first thing Monday morning they d get the tires and replace them and I had by car by noon the next day. Reasonable prices and they had my car washed when I picked it up.Service: Tires

Wow!! What a great service !!They Changed my Tires for a very good price, just a great deal that saved me around $200.00 compering to several other quotes I've done.After they where done in around 1 hour just like they promised....I came out to a nice surprise ! They washed my car in and out, they've done a better job than my local car wash and I am serious about it !!! No additional charge.. They told me to come back after EVERY 6000 miles to do a free tires rotation..In addition to that they also gave me mail in rebate to receive a Visa Card for $40.00I really wish every service was that professional. WOW !! please keep it this way !!!SincerelyVery Very Happy Customer !!Thank you

The staff is friendly and helpful; they explain everything your vehicle needs, break down costs, and are honest. They didn't start any work without my approval and let me know how long it would take.. The waiting room is SO clean! I have gone here for oil changes for several years. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. Getting an appointment and confirmation online was very easy, and they made sure to keep me posted on the phone as to the status of my tires as they were being shipped to the shop. The only issue I had was that there was a discrepancy between what the official email confirmation told me thay were going to charge, and what they charged me in the shop. Apparently, the email did not take into account the fees for old tire disposal and change of valve stems etc., which it definitely should. It turned out to ba a small difference, so it was fine. I highly recommend this shop. I came in to fix a flat tire. Unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed that evening. I was stuck and didn't know what to do as my car was sitting on a rim w/o a spare. However, crew member found a solution for temporary fix just so I could safely drive home and return the next day for the new tire installation. I wasn't charged for the extra work they completed that evening. Next day, tire was installed in 20 minutes! Everyone I spoke to was professional and respectful.
