This used to be a great place to send my rider for maintenance. This year I was blown off not once, but twice to pick-up my rider mower. The first time I had to call them twice for them to tell me that they couldn't come out. Said they would pick it up the following week. The following week was yesterday (March 28). No one showed and no one called. Will be bringing my business elsewhere.REPLY TO AHW: Your clarification is false. On the original pick-up, I called in the early afternoon and spoke with Barb to confirm the pick-up or maybe see if perhaps someone did show and because I was home and the mower wasn't outside, if he drove off. But I was also curious as to why the driver wouldn't call before driving off.Barb had one 1 of the 2 drivers right in front of her and she asked him if he attempted a pick-up in my town. The driver said "no". So she said "I have to do my due diligence and look into this. I'll call you back".About 3+ hours went by and I got no call. So I called again, spoke with a man (can't remember his name), who seemed positive that Barb called me to tell me that they couldn't make it out, so they need to reschedule for next week. I told him I got no such call. He even asked if I was sure about that and I told him I got no such call, and I have no missed calls, nor any voicemails on my phone. So he apologized that they couldn't make it out (which means no one showed and no one called, unlike what the reply said about a driver leaving a voicemail), then said I am scheduled for next week, and would contact me if they can do it sooner. Then I got silence since. I missed one call on pick-up day and it was NOT from AHW or the driver. In past pick ups, I never missed a call and when the driver got here, he rang my doorbell. AHW DID NOT try and pick up my mower, they DID NOT call, and they DID NOT leave a voicemail. It doesn't matter now. I found another company that will do the same thing.

They gave the wrong belt. When I exchanged it the gave me the right belt which was considerably more expensive and they waived the upcharge. Very nice people.

The folks here seem friendly and helpful. I ordered parts for my mower. They didn't have the parts in stock so they said they'd order them and call me in a couple of days. After I hadn't heard from them I called a week later. They told me my order had been canceled. When I asked why it had been canceled the gentleman didn't know. So I'm not sure, it could be because my mower is older and maybe they could no longer get the parts or if maybe someone inadvertently canceled the order. I can understand sometimes orders get canceled accidentally, after all we're all only human and make mistakes, so if that's what happened I can't fault anyone and if it was because my mower is older, well I can understand that also. I understand manufacturers aren't going to continue to make parts for old mowers forever. Either way, it doesn't really matter, when you own an older mower you realize sometimes you have to fabricate parts yourself. But, getting back to AHW LLC, they seemed friendly and as helpful as they could be.

I did a warranty claim on a battery and Barbara has some of the best customer service skills on the phone and person that I have ever encountered. The gentleman from parts was great to deal with as well. I was in and out in 5 minutes that was awesome !!!! Considering it had been a few days since I first called and great to see Barbara kept my warranty information and remembered . That speaks volumes !

This is a great store! They even sell good used equipment. We went there to put a deposit on a riding lawn mower for our new house. Everyone was so nice and helpful. But not pushy, which we really liked.

Consumer Beware!!! I was a loyal customer to Buck since 2000 even bought my tractor from them but going forward will NEVER do business with Buck again. I scheduled a mobile service appointment ($359.00) for yearly maintenance only to have Ryan have to take my lawn tractor back to the shop due to not having the parts on the trailer to repair my deck. Tractor was taken in on Tuesday and I was informed I should have it back by Friday. I waited until the following Tuesday as I had not heard from Buck with a status. I was told my tractor was done but there was a mix-up and I was never notified and "So Sorry". Barb proceeded to tell me she would get the paperwork together and call me back, 4 Hours later I receive a call from Barb " So are you sitting down for this"? Your total is $726.08!!! I paid $359.00 for annual service, new battery $65, new blades $76, Tire Tube $30 and $20 misc deck parts I was charged $444.00 in labor!!!!! A asked don't you think a courtesy call would have been appropriate before doing this work and especially with doubling the bill? Barb said that it was not feasible as a tech would not be able to give estimate until they started working on tractor. REDICULIOUS!!!!! Barb then proceeded to tell me how they helped me out by not charging me for a battery bolt and the return delivery charge, such generosity . I will be telling all Friends, Family, Neighbors, and Business Peers about the unethical business practices and price gouging at Buck, $726.00 I could have bought a new tractor and had it half paid for, probably could have just bought a new deck!! I guess the service techs at Buck bill labor like they are working on a Porsche's or Ferrari's. Terrible, Terrible experience Buck Enterprises should be ashamed.

I strongly recommend Buck Bros for purchasing or servicing your lawn mower. I just received from new John Deere e120 from Buck Bros last week. I have never owned a rider / lawn tractor before this. Andrew delivered it to me and spent almost 30 minutes walking me through all the functionality, as well as maintenance and even some tips for mowing my lawn. He was professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I worked with Barb over the phone who was pleasant and easy to work with for scheduling my delivery, assisting with setting up a maintenance plan and covering all my questions regarding the extended warranty option from John Deere. I can t recommend Buck Bros enough!

The people at Buck Brothers Wauconda are terrific! After causing my camshaft in my 345 to go bad by improperly installing a new few pump myself, they were nice enough not to lay blame on me and fixed it properly after installing a new camshaft.Upon picking up the tractor, it ran great for about 15 minutes when the replacement pump failed. They promptly retrieved the tractor, diagnosed the problem and fixed it - realizing the replacement pump that I bought from them was defective. I had been without my machine for 4 weeks and they came through in the crunch - as I have a big party coming up and my yard was looking pretty bad. Thanks John and team at Buck Brothers, you have great people and great products!

I bought my X300 from this dealer 5 years ago, and have brought my tractor in a couple times for minor maintenance. Recently we paid over $300 for a soup to nuts tuneup, which isn t a small amount in my family. Just a few weeks later, while mowing the lawn, the belt comes off, shredding. I call, ask if it was checked, and whether they can get the tractor in ASAP to fix, since we re prepping for a party this weekend. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and condescending, and ultimately completely unhelpful. Every time we engage Buck Brothers it s been the same story. Can t get a straight answer, they act like they don t care about your business, and ultimately this time they quoted another $150 to fix the issue that they should have caught the first time around. Never bringing my tractor back.

I needed a wheel for my John Deere tractor deck, so what better place or so I thought.I took my broken part to the parts counter. And stood there 4 feet away from a gentleman on the phone staring at a computer screen. I could hear he was helping a customer. He never turned and acknowleged that I was even there. I wrote it off that he was intensely helping the customer?Once he finished with his customer and hung up the phone, he just continued to stare at the monitor, 4 FEET FROM ME. He could obviously see be but would not acknowledge I was there. In the mean time one other obvious parts guy had entered the area, looked at me at the parts counter, did not say a word and left the area?10 total minutes alone standing at the parts counter, no help. The receptionist was within eye shot and she did not even say anything. At that point I just picked up my part and left. Their loss. The following day I went to Mid-State Equipment John Deere in Salem, WI. 15 seconds at the counter and I was greeted with a smile and help. I will just use them from now on.
