My name is Ken Everett.I recently bought a new laptop from Sidebarr Technology in Waterloo Il. I am very impressed with their service they provided. Kyle and Ethan did a remarkable job in transferring all my files and programs to my new computer. If you are in the market for a new computer please keep them in mind. They repair computers and cell phones. Go see them, you won't be sorry.

I've taken my computer to Sidebarr before for repairs and was very happy with the service. Today, my smartphone wasn't charging after being on the charger for several hours. My son said the port might be dirty and to have it cleaned. I had bought the phone a few years back from Verizon so I took it to their store. The salesperson there told me the battery was "bad" without even looking at it and then said it was probably time for an upgrade and asked me if I wanted to look at their new phones. I asked if it might be because the port was dirty and the salesperson said he was sure it wasn't . It seemed kind of fishy to me so I thanked him for his time and left. I stopped at Sidebarr on the way home and-- there were debris in the port. The tech guy cleaned it out-- free of charge-- and my phone is working fine now. Thanks for saving me a ton of money, Sidebarr!

Sidebarr is great, they really helped me out when I spilled coffee on my laptop. CPU was toast but they managed to retrieve and transfer all my data. Price was very reasonable and staff (Lee in particular) was awesome.

Rich came to update our in-home network after it crashed. He was incredibly helpful, honest and he clearly knows what he is doing. He had us up and running again in half a day! I couldn't be happier with the service from Sidebarr!

Great service! I was having issues with my iPhone charging and figured the charging port needed replacing. I was dreading the replacement cost; instead, they suggested my port be cleaned out, and it turns out that s all it needed. They did all this for free! He even went above and beyond to test my phone's charging power. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff! I will be back for future problems.

I spoke with Kyle from Sidebarr in Waterloo IL.I asked him if it was possible to update my old processor with Windows 10 Pro and add more RAM. He was very encouraging and asked me to bring it in and said they would check it out.I said if you re able to do fix it that would be great, go ahead and do it. I dropped off the computer 10:00-10:30.Kyle called at 3:30p.m. the same day and said it was done.I was shocked but happy, it s been great!Not only is the service great but the price was very reasonable as well.Thank you Sidebarr for another job well done!

Jake was awesome! My dad went to see him to help him out with some lap top issues and he took care of everything! My dads approaching 70, so you can imagine the disconnect when it comes to computers. Thank you Jake for making everything simple and easy for him. I will definitely recommend your business going forward.

These guys are my super heroes!!! My Samsung Galaxy 8+ went through the washing machine and was rendered near useless. Being that this phone is unfortunately my lifeline to everyone and everyday tasks I was in quite the panic. Sidebarr was excellent and saved me so much more headache than they will ever know. Thank you so very much. Will definitely recommend to anyone needing help!

Sidebarr's device repair prices are reasonable and turnaround time is great, but what really sets them apart is the service. Sidebarr really went above and beyond when repairing my tablet screen. I can not recommend them highly enough.

First class place! I took my 2-in-1 Thinkpad to them with the blue screen of death. They installed a new hard drive that I provided. Just as important, they are polite and they make you feel comfortable when you call. They also did everything with no physical contact as I requested. My visit was to the Waterloo Store. A1 in every way!

They said they fixed the problem, charged me the fee, got it back to find nothing was fixed. Laptop turns off at the tiniest use so not sure how they could've missed it. Have my doubts they did anything.EDIT: the owner made a point to reach out and assure me that the diagnostics fee would be refunded. The gesture was much appreciated.

It is so nice to have a business like this close to home. We have been using them for years. They have always been able to help us with our computer issues plus they are affordable and the service is great. I don't ever hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

I had an awesome experience with Side Barr. They helped me through a very tense experience with my son's communication device (non-verbal autistic). The tablet is ancient but they tracked down the screen/replacement parts as well as help me find a solution to protecting it better. Good Service is so important - and this they have in abundance. Thank you, Side Barr!

To date I have had a iPhone 6 battery replaced, a iPad screen fixed, and a laptop computer fixed here. All worked performed was extremely professional and affordable. I was given information for my niece to buy the right computer for college, which wasn t going to be purchased from Sidebarr. I would say this business goes above and beyond the call of duty. I will utilize their services in the future and would recommend to anyone.

Great place. I went in for a charging issue on my phone. Jake knew immediately it was build up in the charger port and cleaned it out for free. Will definitely be back for for any repair needs!

Very bad last experience. I thought they had gone above and beyond to fix the situation but honestly I'm pretty sure they tricked me. They RUINED my headset that they took 45ish days to "repair" IT WAS LITERALLY RIPPED UP AND BATTERED. They agreed to replace it completely with a brand new one for the original agreed upon repair price. Unfortunately the headset they gave me is definitely not a brand new one. Only appeared to be when they showed it to me. TRICKED!UPDATE - Store employee contacted me after review. The headset they replaced mine with was purchased on Ebay. Condition was listed as NEW- OTHER - employee showed this to me. For those of you that don't know, like Sidebarr Technologies, this doesn't necessarily mean NEW. My $180 headset was replaced with a piece of junk Ebay one they purchased for $50. (There were others they could have purchased on Ebay for slightly more that were advertised as NEW) The replacement fell apart quickly and had issues with sound quality. They did try to refund me my $40 I paid for original repair, which I declined to accept. I did request my original headset back. GUESS WHAT? IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK! Sound cuts in and out and sounds like it's underwater. I'm furious.

What a wonderful experience! The charger plug broke off in my ipad. The Sidebarr technician "removed" it without charge. I will always recommend and use them!!

$40 for a used computer power cord they dug around under the bench and found! I think not. The particular one I needed can be bought online brand new for $19.99 with shipping. The last one I bough a few months ago was only $24 new in store. Highway robbery!

They took my money and told me they fixed the computer. Got home and plugged it in, repeated the same problem. They problem just made up a problem and gave it to me because it was the due date.

Broke my phone screen:( I was able to drop it off on my lunch hour and it was fixed by 3P.M. Staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable! I will send everyone there before anywhere else:)

Service good. Had 2 screens replaced on our phones. They both broke on that same day. I blamed my son for his breaking until mine just broke while holding in my hand.
