I brought my car in for a simple warranty tire repair (nail in my tire). First of all it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to fix my tire, with an appointment (my local tire shop does it in 30 minutes). Second, my air filter housing was not reinstalled correctly and would allow unfiltered air into the engine (I never requested for my air filter to be checked), finally I checked the air pressure in my repaired tire (because something felt off) and it was at 64 psi. I was not going to say anything about the filter housing, but when I saw the air pressure I have NO confidence in the repair that was done on my tire. I ve never heard of a tire facility that puts 64 psi in a tire. A mistake like that has to be deliberate and extremely careless! I m so upset that my engine could have been damaged from unfiltered air, and I could have had a blowout at highway speeds all because I got a nail hole repaired. Not acceptable on any level!

My tire light came on. I figured it was due to the cold, but pulled in, to see if they had time and would ckeck my tires. They were great! The Technician that checked my tires was very nice and explained courteously, about Changing temps and tire pressure. Thank you.

Always great service, friendly folks.. and willing to help you in an emergency For some crazy reason, my left tail light cracked and fell out/off just hanging by the wires. I immediately went to Waterloo, Dobbs and I believe his name was Jason helped me out. Fixed it up for me to use until he could get the new part in. They aways go the extra mile there. Truly appreciate their service :)

The people working at 'my' Dobbs are terrific and the service is great!One of my tires was leaking air, so I take it by at times to have the pressure checked. They're always happy to help. The last time I was there, Michael spotted a small nail in that tire , so I brought the car in to get the tire fixed.I waited a relatively short time, then Shane gave me some paperwork, and said I was finished.No charge! What?!?!?! Unbelievable!!Thanks for taking such great care of your customers! This may seem like a small thing to you, but it's a big deal and huge help to me, just to know you are there to rely on for help.Thank you for all you do, you are appreciated!!

I have given them multiple opportunities to get my business. Today was the last. I bought a new set of tires for my jeep and during the purchase was told you don t need an appointment as rotation is free . Showed up 30 minutes after they opened and same old song, we are understaffed and overworked so can you leave the vehicle for 3-4 hours? Will never be back. Oh, went down the road to their competition and was in/out in 20 minutes.

I needed some tires in a hurry, talked with Justin who patiently explained my tire options and had my vehicle pulled into the service bay in minutes. I was back on the road in about 2 hours.

A few months ago, I had an emergency tire issue. I stopped by Waterloo IL Dobbs and they took care of my issue in a very timely manner. Jason at intake and their tire team were awesome. My money spends everywhere so with this exceptional service, it brought me back this week. I had an appt for an oil/filter change and tire rotation. They got me right in and also pointed out a couple of things I was happy to address. I was very happy with the quality of service, the thoroughness provided and their professional yet personable approach. There are several plaques behind the service desk reflecting Dobbs store of the month, several times a year in recent years. It is very well-deserved. Great job Waterloo Dobbs. Thanks to all of you for your stellar service

Dobbs did a very good job. I went in with 2 problems a tire I needed to air every 2 week and a wah wah wah noise.The check the alignment. Checked a possible bearing gone bad. And it turned out. The rear tires wore unevenly. I had not be rotating my tires. One front tire had knot in it where the steel belt was showing. So. I got new tires and it fixed my problems and the saved me money by just doing their job

Friendly and knowledgable staff - Jason is a terrific store manager. I've outfitted two vehicles with new tires (one with new brakes) in the past 6 months at this location. Both experiences were top-notch. Competitive prices, knowledgable staff, and friendly service!

Told to drop car off at 7 am for a oil change and tire rotation. I was there waiting when they unlocked the door. I was told would be completed early afternoon. Call at 1 pm to check on my car and was told just 2 more a head of me. Get dropped at 5:50 and my vehicle hadn t moved. I asked what was going on with it and why I wasn t at least informed it wasn t going to be completed. I was told he was still trying to get it completed today. I told him they close in 10 minutes and to just give me my keys. He said I was being unreasonable. I get a call from Dobbs the next day at 1:00 telling me to bring my vehicle back up and they would try to get me taken care of. Like someone wouldn t get their maintenance completed elsewhere. Lost a long time customer for life.

The first time I went here I came for an oil change and waited for it. I had an appointment and still had to wait almost 2 hours. Today I went for the second time for an oil change, had an appointment at 8am, dropped my car off, and had to wait 4 hours for my car to be finished. The staff was really nice and the work was good, but I've never waited so long for an oil change, especially with an appointment. I probably won't be going here again, but if you don't mind a long wait then it's fine.

Unable to locate this business on BBB. Tire quote was stated to include everything including alignment check over the phone. After 4 tire install, additional charge was incurred for alignment as rep stated they only check alignment for price quoted but actual alignment is additional cost. I explained to the rep that this seemed deceptive to which they responded they did not want to quote for potentially unnecessary services . All other quotes from competing tire install companies had included this standard alignment charge

I took my car in for a 1day job. They quoted 3.2 hours to change the rack and pinion. That evening I called to check if we could pick up the car. I was informed they had problems and needed an extra day. 3 days went by and I called again and was told I could pick up. They were supposed to evaluate the noise at the power steering pump after the rack and pinion was changed. As soon as I turned the car on I could hear the pump whine. It was never looked in to. I can sympothize with the shortage of techs and needing additional time to replace the rack and pinion, but the communication was terrible. 5 days later I have my car back and the work performed is satisfactory, but the communication from the front desk and management was horrible. I will be looking for another shop.

Descent service, had work van in for tires, at the waterloo il store. Got my van back and found that the cab had been riffled threw, not sure what they were looking for. Very disappointing.

Took my Buick LeSabre in for a short in the dash lights, instrument cluster lights and license plate lights. When I set the appointment was assured they could diagnose the problem and resolve. Dropped the car off around 7:00 am. I got a call back around 3 hours later stating I just had burnt out license plate lights which would cost about 36.00 dollars. I informed the manager they were wrong and they need to check the fuse that constantly burns out. I got another call back around 2 hours later stating the dimmer switch was bad and causing the short. They had to order the part so I picked up my car and set another appointment to have the dimmer switch installed. I took the car in to have the switch installed and went to the shop later to be told the switch didn't resolve the the issue. Then was told a after market device was plugged into the OBD port and was causing the short. They unplugged it and stated the problem was resolved. I took the car home and the same day it started burning out the same fuse again. I replaced the fuse several times and to no avail the problem still persisted. After careful review of the fuses and relays I found a relay that was extremely hot and had a slightly burnt area on it. I replaced the relay and have not had any issues since. I was charged around 875 dollars for the repair by Dobbs. They didn't get this right from start to finish. The new relay cost me 22.00 dollars and resolved the problem. I am sure I will have to file a small claims case against them to try and get a resolution to this issue. Use extreme caution when dealing with Dobbs.

Our recent visit to Dobbs was outstanding. The service manager Dustin went above and beyond our expectations. He and his team, completed the maintenance and major repairs in a timely manner and within budget. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Would recommend to others and will definitely return as well.

Explained everything in great detail and took the time to share helpful information about my new car tire purchase. I appreciate they checked my brake lights as I never remember to do this. I trust Dobbs with all their services and never feel pressured like I did when I used to go to my dealership for repairs. I m a 10+ year customer of Dobbs and haven t been disappointed yet!

Doug was very helpful in explaining the handling characteristics of run flat tires and why I should replace my tires with another set of run flat tires. He was able to have them delivered to his store and installed the same day. Very good customer service.

We realized we were suddenly having problems with our vehicle s battery and called to see if they had time to get us in on a Saturday morning. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and professional. They worked quickly and communicated every step of the way. A special thank you to Craig for his excellent customer service. It was our first visit to this location and we ll be back.
