Bruce came to the rescue for our son, who got a flat tire near Mt. Vernon, IL on New Year's Day. Despite it being a holiday, he made multiple trips to first evaluate, and then remove the tire, reshape the rim (which was aluminum and bent), and replace the tire. In an amazingly short amount of time, our son was back on the road again to finish his cross country trip, and he arrived safe and sound. We were impressed with Bruce's punctuality, knowledge, skill, and wonderful communication. He is a lifesaver! Thank you so much, Bruce!

Cannot say enough good things about Bruce! He helped us with a tire repair when we were stranded and stayed after hours! Great service, very friendly and honest. Highly recommend!

We got a flat on I-64 right around 5pm on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and got a SECOND flat when we pulled over to put a spare on the first flat. We were able to hobble our way to a gas station in Centralia and the chain shop we called was booked and very fortunately directed us to Bruce! He replaced both tires and had us on our way in less than an hour. Totally saved our road trip and our holiday!Services: Tires, Tire change

My car broke down in Irvington which is about two hours from where I live, at night, and I had my kids in the car so I had to find a ride home and leave my car there. My tire had blown on the interstate. I called around to try to find a tire, and they found one for me, but I wasn't sure if my rim was bent, and they didn't have one. I was at home trying to figure it out, and couldn't meet them up there. They called me back a few hours later...they had gone out to make sure the tire would fit on! Like, they went out of their way for me. I paid them over the phone and my tire was on and ready when I got there. Super nice people. Bruce was amazing! While traveling from Atlanta to Minneapolis, we started losing pressure in one of our tires. We were able to make it to Dix, IL where we realized that our full-size spare did not fit on my car (the wheel was not the right wheel, what a mess). At the gas station they provided us with The Shop's business card and when we called, Bruce picked up right away. We needed to get the tire dismounted from the spare wheel and mounted to the rim with the flat. He arrived within about 15 minutes of us calling him, took both tires back to his shop, and shortly after returned with the tires switched out. He helped us quickly get the tire back on and on our way. We were so relieved to have someone so close and so professional to help us when we didn't have any other options. Based on this service, I can only imagine that any other repairs needing to be done would be done as top-notch as the service we received. Thanks Bruce!!!!Service: Tires

I was taking my family on vacation, and was 2.5 hours from our destination, when, along the interstate, a wheel bearing went bad on our SeaDoo trailer.I called asking for help late in the day and Bruce sent a man to us, repaired the bearing, and got us on our way.Great service, fair price, GOOD PEOPLE.

I was traveling with my 2 little girls from Arkansas to Chicago. I caught a flat and there wasn t anyone near who had my size. Just so happened to find Bruce and his shop. He came to me in mnt Vernon, got my wheel/tire, took it to a tire shop for the new one, brought it right back and put it on for me. With roadside I would have paid way more and heck roadside didn t even have my size . I even waited an hour for them just to tell me they didn t. This man came straight to me and helped me out! Without him I really would have been stranded for who knows how long. Truly a blessing. Being a woman with 2 young girls in a strange place with knowing no one he actually made me feel safe and comfortable. If I could give 100 stars I would! If you re in the area or live in the area swing over just to support his business because he truly deserves it.Service: Tire change

I was broke down on the side of the interstate. The first place my roadside assistance agent contacted said I would have to wait 2 hours, in my car on the side of a busy interstate at night. She called Bruce at The Shop and he was there within 30 minutes. After he towed me to town he found the problem, it was a disconnected transmission line. All the fluid had leaked out. Right there in a parking lot he got the line back on. Problem solved? No because my car was still immobile without fluid. It was the day before my paycheck gets deposited and I didn't have enough money to buy any. I rode with him to the auto parts store and they closed 10 minutes before we got there. He got them to open up and sell him fluid and a funnel. Bruce could have left me in a parking lot far from home but he didn't. He stayed until my car was fixed. He did this on good faith that I pay him back the next day. I was in a jam and this guy got me on the road again. I mean it when I say that this was the best customer service I have ever had. Thank you Bruce and The Shop!

If you re ever stuck in or around this area, this place is absolutely amazing. My friend and I car broken down here on a road trip and the owner Bruce, came out to help us in the middle of the night. He checked the battery and discovered that it was something else wrong with the car. He drove us to a hotel, made sure we got checked in ok, and kept us updated on the car. Then even offered to come get us the next morning after he replaced the Starter. Very friendly, such a stand up guy him and his friend.

The shop is the most amazing ever Bruce and his team came to our rescue when our van had a serious brake malfunction over 320 miles from home. I had recently had all of the brake components replaced from one end to the other at a Napa care center a bolt on the front caliper fell out and the caliper slipped out and the front wheel nearly locked up. I called a Napa parts store looking for parts and told them my situation they called the shop. Bruce and a member of his team showed up with a repair truck and had me rolling in no time at all !! We were amazed! He didn't charge us anything. We gave him the name of the shop the repairs were made at and he sent us on our way. We were back on track for vacation the best part was Bruce called Napa and they covered all the repairs needed ( no out of pocket expense !!) Two thumbs up for the shop.Thank youThe Fruits family

Great business run by great people. As a mother of a driving age daughter I was so worried when Rae Lynn called to tell me she swerved to miss a deer and ran in a deep ditch. We called the shop to get the car towed at 10:30pm and the owner was there within 10 minutes. My daughter was so shook up she had removed the keys from the ignition and lost them between the ditch and the road somewhere. The shop owner turned the rig lights on got a flashlight and helped us find the keys. He towed the car to the his shop in Walnut Hill. The next day we showed up to get some belongings from the vehicle which they had placed securely in a fenced lot.

Had a flat on I-57 and couldn t access my jack with all the stuff in my truck. The Shop responded promptly, got my tire patched, and I was back on the road in an hour and a half, at half the price of a dealer

Vehicle broke down on road. The Shop had no problem picking up my truck and making repairs. Truck operates perfect and the staff was extremely friendly. I would recommend to anyone.

Had several oil changes done plus the Axel shaft, sway bar link and CV shaft replaced.Very knowledgeable and outstanding service.
