I really like this place and have been coming for oil changes and small repairs for many years now. They seem fair on pricing and the oil changes are the more reasonable priced I've found. I've read reviews about the appearance of their shop and yeah if your looking for the cleanest place with the highest customer service skills you might be concerned but coming from a family of mechanics, neither of those things matter to me. I want honesty and like to get straight to the point. I appreciate all the staff here and they recognize me when I come in. The best places are the hidden gems and I feel this is one.

My Jeep muffler didn t sound right. Did some searching and found Velasquez Performance. Showed up on Saturday and the technician showed me the issue. Gave me a quote and said it would be 20-30mins. I came back and was told that it was easier than they thought. They lowered the price from what the original quote was. Which was very much appreciated and I enjoyed the honesty! Would recommend others to go to.

Pulled in on the same day my muffler started to get really loud. These guys were amazing. Addressed me as soon as I walked in and had my car on the lift within 10 minutes. They showed me exactly what the issue was and said it would be fixed in 20 minutes. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. Amazing and expedient service. Will definitely return.

I give this place zero stars.I asked them to do an oil change.......THEY DIDN'T PUT OIL IN, I drove 11 miles with no oil in my car in which oil light came on & my car stalled. I checked oil & found none in my engine, I called them & they sent someone to put oil in my car. I drove back to this place & Pedro test drove My car & told me it was my transmission I took it to another garage & they said it wasn't my transmission that it was something else. Pedro said he would cover thier work, but still they couldn't figure out what the problem was. I brought it to Chevrolet & found it was my timing chain jumped due to no oil pressure. I brought paperwork to velasquez & the owner said he will cover the timing chain minus what the second garage did. They are shady & trying to make me pay for their mistakeServices: Exhaust, Oil change

This place installed a muffler and they did it wrong. I went back to them to rectify and Pedro Damacio manager was extremely rude and did not want to work with me they have supposedly warranty labor and parts. But did not want to honor. I asked for the owner but never got a call back.He wanted to charge $extra 100 to repair when I had paid $270 already.Very rude manager not fit for a businessDo not go here.Look else whereService: Exhaust

Hands down the best place we ve been for exhaust issues. We took our 2016 mustang GT for a exhaust leak (bolt on was loose)they got us in and out in about 40 min or less. Los recomiendo!! I recommend them.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I dealt with Pedro. He gave me a price for pads & rotors. I brought my brakes in and he installed them along with a synthetic oil change in under 2 hours. Great customer service, fair prices, and very honest. i use to install brakes years ago and I'm very happy with their overall service. This will be my new spot. Gather around boys and girls, it's adventure time! I drove home from work and decided I would give this place a chance since it is very close to my house. I parked in the minefield of a parking lot and walked towards the door, I felt like I was in a Walking Dead episode. It was dimly lit and this waiting room looked like it was used in a Friday the 13th movie. The left side of shop is apparently where they test missiles and the the right side of building is where people chat on their cell phones under customers vehicles. The employee behind the desk first words are he has no lift to lift my truck. My mistake really, I thought it was a performance muffler shop. I asked him how much or rough estimate to do muffler and tail pipe on my truck. Looks at my truck through dirty window and says "I'd say around $800" I was speechless, I never told him I am a diesel technician who works for city, and that price was outrageous. All I needed was an over axle pipe and muffler.I would highly recommend against coming here, in fact don't even use parking lot to turn around in. I have used a Velasquez at another location and they were very friendly and reasonable. I wouldn't bring my lawnmower here. Before anyone does anything to their car, call around and watch YouTube how to videos, because you will be fleeced if you think you can trust anyone.

Lost a hangar for my muffler - on the way to the shop, the flange to my header must have shaken loose - my Jeep was rumbling like crazy when I pulled in . They got it on the lift within an hour as promised, even though I left it there for the work, and called me right away with a reasonable estimate. On my OK, they di the work quickly, and I had my baby back within 2 hours of dropping her off. Fair price for the work, no complaints. Would use these guys again, no question.Service: Exhaust

Wonderful service. I needed work on my exhaust system. I got there around 8:00. They checked it out, made a proposal, did the work and I was on the road headed home by 9:00 with the new 2 foot section all welded in place. From my experiences with other places I assumed they would want to replace most of the system and expected to be paying $1,000 or more. They did the work for $163.75. Nice surprise for a Monday morning!

Nice and honest service with very fair prices. They are confident mechanics that make you feel good about the job that they do. They even take you underneath your car to point out the problems and share their plan to fix them. I just want to say thank you to the friendly, knowledgeable staff at Velasquez. After the dealership told me I needed a new center pipe and muffler that would cost me $1700, I decided to get another opinion. I took it to Velasquez where they showed me what needed to be fixed. I didn't need a new muffler or center pipe after all. Just a connector pipe. The job only cost $60. My car sounds and runs fine. Thanks again to J. Gonzalo for being honest and showing me what I really needed (the dealership did not). THANKS AGAIN AS I SAVED A LOT OF MONEY. I would highly recommend this place..

This guys are fast and reasonable with prices, I took my truck in on a Saturday morning in a crunch it was first come first serve. There was two customers ahead of me so they told me about a hour wait. 1 hour later they had my truck up on the lift and saw the problem, 30 mins later it was done. Then Monday I took my other truck there to have the exhaust modified, no problem at all, super fast and it the truck sounds sweet. So I recommended a friend to go there to have her exhaust looked at cause she had a banging coming from under the car, they looked at it and fixed the issue with no charge, she is overjoyed. These guys are great if you have a muffler issue, this is the place. :-)

Great place, great price. Stopped in on a Sat at noon because my exhaust was getting loud. They got me in in 10 min. Brought me out to show me the issue and gave me a fair price. $120 for a catalytic converter on my 05 Elantra, INSTALLED. 15 min later, it was ready and sounded great. Very happy. Only thing is, it's CASH ONLY. Luckily there is a Walgreens, Jewel and gas station 1 block away.

Great local place, came in for an oil change by they were busy. They asked me to leave the car and they will call me within an hour when the car is ready for pick up. Great service friendly staff and just a straight up gem no BS just straight forward! Couldn't be happier!
