If you are looking for an honest mechanic who will not do work simply for the sake of draining your bank account, then this your the place. Mike is personable, honest and does quality work. I was referred to him about 10 years ago and have not stopped. I tell all my friends to go to him. So happy to have finally found a mechanic I can trust. I've had work done here a handful of times and it's always been done at a reasonable price, and within a reasonable time frame. Mike has even declined a repair on an old vehicle of mine, instead of offering a simple temporary solution that cost me nothing. I highly recommend this shop.

I have been using Tyler s as my mechanic ever since I got my first car 9 years ago. They are not only helpful, kind, and unbelievably knowledgeable; but honest and trustworthy on top of it!I recently moved out of state, and ran into a situation where I needed to purchase a new car ASAP. I was nervous because I had no resources in this new state. I was able to talk to Mike, the owner, on the phone and he talked me through what to look for when purchasing a used car. Talk about above and beyond service!!!!Tyler s is an amazing place, with amazing people.If you don t take your car there, you re making a mistake!

Great!!! Mike always helps out and is quick and efficient. Handles all types of cars and hours are good for drop off's and pick ups. Takes care of town people. We love Terri his wife at the desk shes always very bubbly and happy with a smile to greet you at the door. I would recommend Tyler's Auto Repair in a heartbeat!!

Great service. I thought my brakes were bad so took it in. He checked everything twice and test drove the car. Come to find out, just needed the air pressure adjustments not the brakes. He didn't charge me a dime even when I insisted. In my opinion you could have done my brakes and charge me arm and leg and I wouldn't know that I didn't need new brakes But you didn't. Thanks for your honesty mike.

Mike is great mechanic and he's extremely fair and honest! I have a 1990 Ford Ranger that was my Dad's and the throttle body would get stuck when I accelerated in hot weather. I would constantly have to turn the truck off and spray the throttle cable to lubricate and manually pull it the cable back. I had taken it to 2 other mechanics before meeting Mike. The previous mechanics that I took the truck to couldn't find a part for the truck because it was so old, so they just gave up. I eventually blew the transmission because the throttle kept getting stuck. Nobody was able to fix it until I met Mike. Mike took the throttle body apart and explained that the shaft was so corroded and when the truck got hot, it would get stuck in the throttle body and cause the throttle to stay fully open. Mike ground down the shaft and removed all of the corrosion. The truck has never run better. He also replaced the valve gasket covers and the wiper pump. I would recommend Tyler's Auto Repair to everyone. Mike works on all makes and models, from Mercedes, BMWs, Audis, Fords, and GM. It's hard to find mechanics these days that actually know how fix things using their mechanical skills. Mike figured out how to fix it and my Dad's 1990 Ford Ranger is better than ever!

Mike at Tyler's is the guy you want doing maintenance and repair on your car or truck!! I met him when he first started running the shop on Ardmore by the tracks. He is a genuinely nice guy that loves what he does, and it shows! This is the place you recommend to your family and friends and never worry about how they are treated.Steve Young

Mike is an honest mechanic with reasonable prices. He has been my mechanic since he was by the Villa Park Train Station. He has maintained my last 4 cars and other then me he is the only person who does work on my vehicles.
